I just saw last night at True Value (ATC branch) Anchor 10-pc baking set at 30% off. The price tag is for about P2,400 lang so I am not sure if that is the sale price na.

@euwie, ang ganda ng cake mo! love it!
if you dont mind, anong icing ginamit mo para sa ribbons?
i just started with marshmallow fondant icing kahapon lang for New Years Eve dinner. kaya no idea ako if it can hold up para sa ribbons kasi stars and numbers lang ginawa ko. hehe.
pero so far, i'm loving marshmallow fondant and swiss meringue buttercream icing na.
what icing did you used as base nga pala?

thanks!

Yung christmas trees and stars, fondant yun.

pasali!

^sis euwie, how much yung mga ready made fondant and gumpaste and gaano kadami nacoconsume mo per cake?

I also love baking pero super nakakapagod siya lalo na pag madaming orders! Grabe inaabot ako ng 3am just frosting cakes and putting them in boxes then tying with ribbon and tags. Its a lucrative business but its also a physically demanding din.

^ sis cind3r3lla, ang ganda ng cake mo! Buti ka pa nakagawa cake for new year's. Di ako magaling mag knead, sumasakit talaga katawan ko ;D

^^sis lexi_girl, maya ko tignan yung buckets ng gumpaste and fondant ah! Mas ok sana kung may color na, para less work. Buti ka pa may market na, ako hindi kakayanin ng sched ko but if may order from friends, gagawin ko.

@sis euwie, thanks! chamba lang. hehe.

sharing lang....
i baked cheese chiffon cake today from a recipe i got online. sadly, epic fail siya. sigh.
it used cheddard cheese but the end result, not cheesey enough and bumagsak siya.  :'(
hay... the ups and downs of baking.  :-X
i will rest for awhile and recover from this baking heartbreak. hehe. then i will try yung isa pang recipe na cream cheese ang ginamit.

Start muna sana ko sa maliit and easy to use e :)

^nagstart din ako sa oven toaster, sis. Pinaka unang na bake ko nun is yung banana bread ng maya na naka box  :) then yung natuto na ko sa big oven sunod sunod na.. Cookies, cupcakes, muffins, bread, and last na yung cakes and mini cakes. :)

^any toaster will do as long as kasya yung bread pan sa loob and it won't be too low na matatamaan yung heater sa taas when the batter rises.  Tip ko lang na loosely cover the top with aluminum foil pag umalsa na yung banana bread para di masunog kagad yung top. Use over ripe bananas yung medyo lamog na para mas matamis and mas masarap.

sis lexi_girl korek ka ako rin after bake ayaw ko rin kainin ang ginawa ako, pero in fairness masasarap naman daw, even yung cupcake na pinang regalo ni hubby last christmas masarap naman daw.  Haysss even kapag may nagbigay ng cake from Goldi or Red Ribbon ayaw ko ng tikman huhuhu. :'( nauumay na kasi ako. ;)

happy new year!
