i just the brownies cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting them because i like rustic look on my brownies. :) With this, you can have frayed edges. But if you want smooth ones, then let it sit in the fridge for an hour or so so you can also enjoy it's fudgy-ness :)

eto sis nakuha ko lang sa allrecipes.com. masarap to, promise!

BROWNIES

Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons water
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Directions
1.   Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch square pan.
2.   In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, butter and water. Cook over medium heat until boiling. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Mix in the eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the chocolate mixture. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
3.   Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until brownies set up. Do not overbake! Cool in pan and cut into squares.

Sis Virgogirl98! Parehas tayo ng recipe! No wonder parehas din ng result. :) Pero masarap nga [textspeak!] yung kinalabasan. :)

^ before i don't really cool them on a rack and i never got moist bottoms on my cookies. But it would help if you have one. especially with cakes, it helps to cool it faster.

lahat ng binebake ko, diretso sa cooling rack.

cupcakes from muffin pan (para magamit ko na yung pan sa next batch);
cakes (inverted);
brownies (pinapatong ko lang dyan pati yung pan);
transfer ko dun cookies after cooling slightly sa cookie sheet, to cool completely.

mga sis pag baking ba dapat talagang accurate ang mga measurement? or else palpak?

I agree with cj_09, baking should be followed to a T. Unless you're a baking pro, then you can experiment :)

Hi mga sis! Nagbake ako ng revel bars yesterday and sinunod ko yung instruction ninyo to cool it down first bago hatiin. True enough, pinalipas ko muna ang 1 hour and ni-ref ko pa for 15minutes. Voila! Na-cut ko sya ng malinis at hndi nag break. Yehey! Thanks mga sis! :)

i tried making chocolate cookies using a hand mixer . i followed the recipe to the letter. pero bakit ganoon para ba sobra niyang stiff hindi na mahalo nang mixer ko. here is the recipe i followed:
1 1/4 cups butter
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsps vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

i thought that maybe i had to use the spiral beaters instead of the regular mixer beater (not wire naman kundi yung 4 sided beater ang una ko ginamit) pero ganoon pa din. in the end i had to use a spoon to mix everything kahit mahirap mas na-mix ko lahat. in fairness masarap naman kinalabasan though it does not look like the way it should like in the pictures i saw

congrats! welcome to the world of baking :D stress reliever din 'to  for me.

^ miksha, ni separate mo ba ang wet and dry ingredient then hinalo? i've experienced a lot of baking before and i wasn't even using electric mixer. I only used the regular hand beater, naka gawa pako ng soft and hard peaks with just using that.
