mom.of.inchikoy, surely! mcnp - www.facebook.com/groups/mcnpinays. it's a private group so you'll have to request to be added pero admin accepts all add requests naman. everybody's welcome in mcnp! you might also want to join the mcnp group buy page as well. we do group buys to pool our resources and buy in bulk from suppliers/manufacturers. it's cheaper that way kasi you get wholesale prices tapos you all split the shipping costs. i think there's an upcoming group buy for a US site and you can join that to buy best bottom diapers.

the down side lang of group buys is that slots are limited and sometimes you might not be able to get slots if ma-late ka or maubusan ng slots. also, there's usually a minimum of 2 weeks (up to 6-8 weeks) na waiting time. shipping takes a while kasi we usually buy from china or US. if you don't want to bother with group buys, there's a local seller of best bottom diapers - erinsdiapers.com.

^thanks sis! as of now i'm using next9...  i'm considering erinsdiapers to try sana before i buy in bulk sa states (i order in the US kasi for my kids and hubby's requests plus the orders for my client's events) 1-3 times in a year. so meron ako pwede isabay sana in 2-3mos. pero baka subukan ko muna siguro si erin.

mom.of.inchikoy, once you've been approved, you can post your questions on the mcnp wall. there are a lot of moms there who've tried best bottom, i'm sure they'll be happy to help. personally, i use 1-2 inserts per shell for hybrids/covers systems. i know some people use 3-4 or more inserts per shell. depende din kasi sa personal preference. yung iba they keep reusing the shell as long as there's no poop. ako naman i play safe kasi paranoid ako sa germs so max na yung 2 reuses ng shell for me. for a 10-12 hour period, i think okay na yung 2 shells and 4 inserts if changing every 3-4 hours.

OT: can i ask what forwarder you use when you buy in bulk sa US? i've become disappointed with my forwarder lately so i'm looking for a new one.

I bought 5 pcs of Alva Cloth Diapers (bale 4 na pcs na lang kasi I will sell yung isa kasi color pink pala, I thought white ang color sa pic eh boy ang baby ko) and then another 3 pcs of Babyleaf CD. Try ko gumamit sana maging successful

hI sis! About to write my review for Perwoll baby pa lang, so far ok naman sya for cds. It's not as mild as smart steps pero hindi naman nagkaroon ng negative reactions sa cds or sa baby ko

I use about the same amount of perwoll baby detergent as I would smart steps.

na prep ko na yung alva na binili ko sa GB  kahit na isang katerba pa yung binili ni MIL na sposies eh will try to use na kay biskwit mamya after bath. Comment ko lang parang ang laki ni Alva o di pa talaga lang ako sanay. 

Nakakaadik ang GB but buti nalang napigilan ko ang sarili ko na di sumali last Sunday for Sunbaby GB, next month nalang ulit makakabili ng CD

thanks sis. gusto ko din kasi i-try kaya lang baka masira ang cds or magka rashes naman si vince. sana maging okay din sa amin. sa ngayon cycles ang gamit namin.

naeenganyo na ako gumamit ng modern cloth diaper ah. dati kasi un lampin lang talaga sa firstborn ko. gusto ko sana yun alva 4.0.. pag pocket style ba pwedeng yung insert lang ang change? anong brand ba yung pwede na insert lang ang change pag weewee?

^I have Alva 4.0 sis, first time ko gamitin now mas maganda sya kaysa sa 3.0 kasi double gusset parang diaper na doble ang garter sa bandang singit. I think factor yun para maiwasan ang leak (yata). I've read somewhere na twice nila gamitin yung shell nila pinapalitan lang ng insert if puro wiwi lang ang laman but for hygienic reasons much better once lang pag pockets kaya it depends na din sayo. Afaik, covers talaga ang reusable kasi you can wipe them para magamit ulit yun lang medyo mas mahal. I want to try Dandy Nappy, nasa 350 ata ang isang set (cover+insert) kaso di pa ako nakakabili.

Actually, makakamura ka sa covers lang kasi ng you'll only need a few because you can reuse them. Ang marami mong bibilin is yung insert. If you were to buy Dandy Nappy, 250 sya per cover and 120 (ata) per insert. Get about 6 covers and 12 inserts good na for 2 days (if you have a toddler ha and assuming you wash everyday) Still more economical than using pockets.
I haven't tried Dandy Nappy though so I can't give reviews of feedbacks on them.

Questions naman, sana wag ako mapagtawanan Di pa kasi ako nakakakita ng cloth diaper and sa net ko lang siya nakikita at nababasa and im also interested of using this para sa baby ko. Since ignorante ako sa product, i can't understand some terms like shell,insert.. etc..

Inserts are being used for the wiwi ba? Nalalabhan din ba siya? like pag nagwiwi ang baby change lang yun?

How about pag nagpoop si baby? Pag nagpoop siya change na yung buong cloth diaper and wash na or may nilalagay din para sumalo ng poops?

Parang katulad rin lang ba eto ng lampin, ibig ba sabihin kailangan kong magkaroon ng at least 15pcs na CD?

my baby used also CD ok naman sya tipid pero laba ka lang laba at madikit pag my poops mahirap.[textspeak!] soap nya [textspeak!] pangbaby kasi sensitive.

inserts are use in pocket diapers.. yung pocket diaper is one of the cloth diapering system na very common and widely used it has a pocket inside wherein you stuff the insert in.

the shell is the pocket diaper, diaper cover, hybrid etc.. yan yung pinaglalagyan ng inserts or soakers

- kung pocket diaper mo change na talaga yung buong cd, pre-rinse - pede gamitan ng bidet para maalis yung poop sa diaper then piga at ilagay sa timba na walang tubig.. :dry pail" ang tawag dun.
pag cover (since wipeable ang cover) pedeng ireuse if hindi sya nalagyan ng poop or di kumalat yung poop sa leg gusset (gusset - eto yung elastic sa leg area) and yes mayroon din inilalagay to catch poop if ayaw mo malagyan ng poop yung inner ng cd mo.. you can use fleece liner (pedeng cut out sa fleece blanket)on top of your cloth diaper/insert.

-yes, ganun pero in modern approach kasi may cover and magaganda yung prints! hihi
kung balak mo magfulltime and 8 times magdiaper si baby a day and every other day laba.. you will need - 16-24 pcs.. ok na yan

^Thanks a lot for the reply sis Sige ill join the group.. another question din pala, pag nasa labas, like pag nasa mall, diba hassle pag nagpoop si baby pag cloth diaper ang gamit? kasi change na agad and di ba nagkakaroon ng  stain or nagsstay ang amoy like after 5 hours pa bago makauwi sa bahay to wash the CD?

hello mga sis..who tried using [textspeak!] mga detergent talaga like pride,tide na sabon panlaba sa CD? hindi talaga daw sya pwede? kasi [textspeak!] mga pambaby na sabon lang daw. how true?

YUng Tide Original daw pwede pero I've never tried it. HIndi usually ginagamit ang mga ganyang sabon kasi it's too harsh and it can cause build up of residues that will coat your diapers resulting in leaking, smells, etc.

Baby detergent kasi has no additives like bleach, fabric conditioners and no other harsh chemicals that can cause residues. Other detergents like Charlie's Soap also has no harsh chemicals and can be used for cloth diapers.

Detergents that work well with cloth diapers that I have personally tried are, Cycles, Smart Steps and Perwoll Baby.
