Thalia: Yes, what brand of nappies are you using? There are some OSFM brands that run a bit smaller, and they probably won't fit until potty training. There are some brands however that run a bit large... I suggest you try those. You can also use sized diapers. Personally, since I've converted to cloth diapers, I don't think I'll ever go back to disposables. I'm just loving them so much!

thalia: i don't know about tushy wushy but grovia runs small talaga. a lot of people like it because it's trim. grovia has pull-ups/trainers, btw. lots of US brands have them, even china/asian brands. so far, our group (mcnp) has been able to try two asian pull-ups - cluebebe and mikiwili. positive feedbacks naman for both. mikiwili runs larger than cluebebe. i heard coolababy (another china brand) also has pull-ups now. google na lang for more info, sis.

Thank you for the replies. Madami na palang cloth diapers pati style iba iba. When I bought mine kasi 2 years ago pa at wala pa masyadong choices (o baka kulang yung research ko ). Now madami na even sa department stores meron na din na datidati wala.

may kinds pa ba ang CDs? what is pocket diaper? how would i know if pocket diaper yung nabili ko? so what's the cheapest microfiber inserts and where makakabili at how
much na din?

google is your friend. search search lang, sis. marami ka matutunan. ako nagbasa basa lang talaga nung simula kaya natuto.

cheapest na alam kong microfiber sa local seller is P50. search mo na lang sa multiply, sis. hindi ko na maalala name ng store. pero usually if you buy a pocket diaper may kasama na insert yun.

Help!!! I just ordered my first stash of Alva through their website. After 2 weeks I received a notice that I have to pick it up in Pasay. I have to pay 2,000 for tax. Ang lungkot. May naka experience na ba ng ganito? plss help. 5k lang ang worth ng alva cd's ko I dont want to extra pay 2k for that.

Hi sisses, I think it's my lucky day today. Got the Alva diapers from Makati Post Office and no customs charge! yipee, PhP40 lang binayaran ko.

Sis how many CD's did you order online? [textspeak!] sakin kasi naharang sa customs. They're asking me to pay 2k for tax.

@jpeach: ganun ginagawa ko now since wala pa akong CD. yung binili kasi ni MIL walang inserts isang cover at isang pocket, lahat walang insert. Kaya lampin nilalagay ko in times na nauubusan si baby ng disposable diapers. at tama ka masyadong matrabaho, kasi you have to wash everytime. yung cover nya pa naman na nabili hindi pa wipeable, you can use it twice kaso nga lang yung sa bandang crotch medyo basa na kaya di ko na ginagamit twice. masyadong matrabaho kaya ngayon sasali na ako sa groupbuy para makamura

tried and tested detergents for cds: cycles, smart steps, charlie's soap, tide original (yung walang bleach, fab con, and other additives)

sis sether, abangan mo yung happy flute and alva. yan ang mga pinaka murang brands pero maganda pa din.

i used smart steps naman sa cd & inserts, nag try ako sa 2yo son ko ng alva &  i love the fit successful din kami overnight 1mf+1pure bamboo pinagamit ko sa eldest ko yung mga dark color na cds on-hand ko natuawa ako sa performance kaya cd na din yung gamit ng eldest ko now out na si disposable masasabi kong sulit talaga mag CD

Ginamit ko kagabi.. nilagay namen ng 6pm and I made kapa kapa at 3am kanina.. no leaks 

Random Thought on CD'ing:
I was thinking.. if I had started my stash buying in bulk sa Sunbaby web or Alva in Aliexpress .. nakatipid sana ako?
But happy naman ako sa different brands na meron ako now..medyo napagastos lang...

2 slots lang ng 4.0 ang nabili ko sis hehe try-try lang buti nalang maganda review mo. Ano nga pala masasabi nyo sa HAPPY BUM na brand? natutuwa kasi ako sa designs nya eh kaso panget daw?

sa gumagamit ng alva, need pa ba ng extra inserts yun? and anong type ng insert gamit nyo?

if I will use covers naman, anong OK yet affordable brand would you recommend?

sa covers, namamahalan ako pero gusto ko e try yung kay Dandy Nappy 250 each lang yun tapos pag set (cover+insert ba yun) 350 naman

amie30 - depende sa preference mo sis and kung heavy wetter si baby. Yung Alva 4.0 ko, I add a 3layer bamboo for overnights or for going out.

For covers, ok ang Kawaii baby covers and Thirsties Duo Wrap.
