I also add 4Lyr Bamboo sa Alva 4.0 if I use it overnight..
I also use Happy Bum pang-overnight. 2 inserts.

@sether, maybe for heavy wetter lang siguro yung additional insert.. san sis nakakabili nung Dandy Nappy? iniisip ko kasi, isn't it cheaper to have a small number of covers, then maraming inserts na lang..

And sa gabi pag nagcombine ng inserts ano yung dapat nasa pinaka ibabaw? Yung bamboo, microfiber, hemp? Clueless.

Gamit namin pa ngayon kasi grovia hybrid with cotton soaker lang then fleece sa ibabaw.

amie30 - fave? wala pa ata hehe. I love them all! Fave ko for overnights would be my Kawaii baby Goodnight Heavy Wetter and Heavy Duty pocket diapers. For daytime use, all the diapers I've tried have performed as well as expected except for one brand I don't like that brand and won't be ordering it again.

mikaela325 - stay dry inserts meron Beilesen, Thirsties, Flip, Grovia, among others.

As for inserts, bamboo and microfiber pwede on top, hemp is almost always at the bottom. Unless your hemp is combined with cotton jersey then pwede sya used alone. (ex. Thirsties hemp inserts)

mikaela325, i'm not sure if same size. best thing to do is check the detergent's label and follow the recommended use. usually may nakalagay dun kung how many kilos of clothes per scoop. for reference, 10 diapers and 10 inserts is approximately 1 kilo.

Pajoin... What do you guys think of Mga chino pino type of lampin? Or pre folded lampin with Velcro.

Ako kasi for my baby I used that Hindi [textspeak!] Mga cloth diapers na uso today. I actually bought baby Jill diapers but then when I saw it feel ko ang kapal masyado seems like mainit for baby, so i had the impression na baka all cloth diapers feel mainit and makapal for baby.

So I opted to use chino pino type and baby cino. I think what's good about those is especially sa newborn and if you're breastfeeding is you will actually be able to count how many times baby poops and pees in a day and also im sure na hindi maiinitan and presko si baby and less prone to rashes, especially my baby is a girl. Plus it's really cheaper than the cloth diapers, it's around 400 for 6 pcs.

But at night naman disposable diapers na is baby. So sayang Mga baby Jill diapers ko.

hindi talaga maganda ang baby jill. it's sad na yun ang una mong na-try na cloth diapers, na-turn off ka tuloy! sa totoo lang, even the cheapest cloth diapers from china malayo ang difference in quality sa baby jill.

maganda din naman yung mga chino pino and i agree dun sa advantages that you mentioned. pag presko time si baby, gumagamit din ako ng chino pinos and traditional lampins. ang advantages naman ng "modern" cloth diapers - most are stay-dry so hindi nabababad si baby sa wiwi, may waterproof (yet breathable) na outer layer so hindi tatagos yung wiwi/poop, mas absorbent so baby can wear it for longer periods of time even at night, and super cute ng mga colors and designs!

2 weeks into researching about CD. I joined the MCNP Alva 4.0 gb last week and ordered 7, tapos I ordered kahapon directly sa Alva & Sunbaby for 23 pcs more. Kaadik pala to kalurx! hahaha I just placed 2 pcs. order of Kawaii Good Night Heavy Wetter sa Baby Chic Botique. Basta quota ko is 50pcs. Sufficient na siguro yun for twins. Balak ko lampin, either chino pino or enfant muna for the first 3 weeks tapos saka ko introduce CD sa kambal. Sana kayanin ko. Ang hubby medyo against, less hassle daw ang disposable saka kaka-hoard ko parang mas magastos tuloy!

Sis jpeach, Oo NGa eh when I saw the baby Jill diapers I said to myself na ang kapal and it seems na mainit so ayun never ko na talaga na gamit I bought around 12 pcs pa naman, sayang talaga. . Mas na sulit ko talaga Mga baby cino and chino pino in baby now that she's 1 yr and 4 mos na during the day she wears panty or shorts Lang. Sa house Lang naman siya then when we go out or at night we use disposable diapers na. I never tried other cloth diaper brands na kasi I got the conception na all cloth diapers are mainit! But I don't know if they are ba or not..

Re the designs I saw NGa ang cute NGa and dami choices! Haha. Maybe sa next baby nalang will try Mga suggestions niyo

For start and newborn Baka NGa cino pino pa muna magagamit mo. Since Mga cloth diapers are big pa for newborns eh? Wow ang dami 50!! Hindi ba sobrang dami un? Considering na sa first few months Baka you wouldn't be able to use pa the cloth diapers. And usually first few months Lang din naman mag Wiwi and poop many times ang baby eh. just my thought.. Hehe

x-tine, sa cloth diaper group namin on fb (mcnp) merong mga nasa 80-100 ang stash (some even 100+) and hindi twins ang anak nila! i have to admit, i have more or less 40 cloth diapers (i've added/destashed since my last count) and that's just for one baby.

amnesia, good luck! haha. naaalala ko diyan din ako nagsimula sa alva, sunbaby, and kawaii. naku, nakakaadik talaga! lalo na you're having twins pa. gawin mo ng 60 ang max mo para tig-30 sila. hehe. if you want to win your hubby over, show him yung mga chart comparing the cost of cloth diapers vs. disposables. you'll win points for sure!

mikaela, sorry but i'm not sure exactly how many liters of water dapat per scoop of charlie's soap. try posting sa mcnp wall, there might be someone there who can answer your question.

mom.of.inchikoy, daming good feedbacks ang best bottom sa US pero sa mcnp parang hindi siya masiyadong popular. i remember one of the mcnp moms who've tried it says mainit daw. i don't know how true that is kasi i haven't tried it personally. if you want more reviews, try diaperpin.com or amazon na lang, sis.
