ngayon lang ako ulit nag-check sa site ng alva. may covers na pala sila. yung plains are $4.39 and the prints are $5.19 each. not sure lang if wipeable covers ito like the ones na mabibili sa US. minsan kasi lost in translation yung mga china sellers e like nung nag-search ako sa aliexpress/alibaba, nakalagay sa title nila covers pero pag tiningnan mo yung pics and description, pockets din pala. pero ang alam ko maraming customers ang alva from US kaya baka naman talagang covers nga ito. anyway, to those who are looking for more affordable covers, you might want to try it. free shipping naman sila to philippines and they don't have minimum order requirement so kahit few pcs. lang pwede.

question lang po re alva, ano difference nung series nila? daming series eh, designs lang ba nagkakatalo yun? TIA! pasensya na po, ngayon lang kasi ako mag CD eh..

yes, sis. halos pare-pareho lang sila, usually yung designs lang ang nagkakaiba sa mga series. ang may major difference lang is yung bamboo diapers dahil bamboo yung inner layer niya so it's not stay-dry and yung color snaps (alva 4.0) series na may double inner gussets.

di ko lang ma-gets about the bamboo. what do you mean "it's no stay-dry? pasensya na sis, medyo eng eng lang talaga pagdating sa CD hehe
and ano difference nila ng alva 4.0?

usually kasi ang mga pockets have either microfleece or microsuede as inner layer. those materials make the cd stay-dry meaning kahit magwiwi si baby, hindi wet feeling niya. parang yung sa disposable diapers, di ba? kahit may wiwi, dry yung feeling. yung bamboo diapers ng alva, bamboo cloth ang inner layer niya so hindi siya stay-dry meaning pag nagwiwi si baby, he'll feel wet parang sa old-style na lampin.

yung color snaps (aka alva 4.0 or c series), stay-dry ang inner layer just like the other series. ang main difference lang niya is yung double gussets.

sis sether, i bought it at 149 each ata then pre-fold lampins... but i have 1 bumkins. was thinking baka di pa kasya yung charlie banana and other one-size CDs I bought. i'm still preggy, slowly building-up my stash.

Oo nga, they're not covers pala! Alva pocket diapers lang na wala lang kasamang insert. I think they're selling just the covers kasi so you can choose the insert you want. Meron na kasi silang 3-layer Bamboo aside from the usual 3-layer Microfiber and 4-layer Bamboo/Microfiber inserts.

Papoose is also called Babyland. Ok sya pero mahal yung sa Landmark. Almost same sila ng Alva in terms of performance, mas maraming prints and bigger ang size ang Alva. Bought mine from eBay.

Pwede bang gawing swim diaper ang mga cloth diapers?

^I've read about mommies using their cloth diapers as swim diapers but I've never tried it. Pwede yung pockets din without an insert.

Ah. So dapat ba walang inserts?  I was supposed to buy swim diapers kahapon kaso nung pagkakita ko, parang cloth diaper lang din naman. Except garterized talaga yung sa legs. And parang may built in inserts. Kaya i thought pwede ko gamitin cloth diaper with inserts na lang. Bawal ba inserts? I mean mas advisable ba na walang inserts?
