Things you refuse to spend money on

- Postpaid mobile plans : Bought my ip4 2 years ago then 200.00 monthly load lang ako all texts na yon haha. Ayoko ng may monthly bill sa phone since hubby/close friends/family ko lang nman tinetext ko

- Expensive designer bags : I LOVE bags really but for the price that you can already use to pay for a downpayment ng house? No way!

- Movies : Paminsan minsan yeah.. Kapag worth it ang palabas.. Wait ko nalang after 2 months sa torrent yan haha

- Expensive make ups : Sensitive ang skin ko, ang dami ko ng nasayang na mahal na makeups.. In the end napapatapon lang (bagong buhay na ko hehe)

me too! Dati bumili ako ng havaianas worth 1200+ 3 months lang sira na buti pa yung pambahay slippers ko worth 150php umabot ng 1 year.


expensive clothes din- bakit ako gagastos ng thousands sa damit kung meron naman sa tiangge na same design and same quality? hindi practical

fake designer bags- ang trying hard tignan

Starbucks coffee- makakabili ka na ng 1 pack ng 3 in 1 sa presyo ng 1 cup coffee nila

Gah!! This thread made me realize that I need to get rich! I couldn't think of many things I wouldn't pay for if I could. :/

Here's the list of things that I refuse to spend money on:

* Cutesy Knick-Knacks - Kicked this habit from my hoarding days. I used to get cute erasers, bandaids, little figurines all because they were so UBER CUTE!

* Manicures - Only because I do it better than most technicians at high-end places. I still get pedicures only because I need someone else to get rid of the nasty ingrown toenails.

* Tablets - Not a fan of gadgets, but I admit that a tablet is a pretty handy and useful device, however, my android phone and laptop does the job for me.

• Papalit palit ng phone every time may lumabas na bago. I was into this before pero ngayon hindi na.Not worth it girls.
• Movie tickets. Meron kaming flat screen so I guess worth it kapag nasa bed kapa nanonood ng movie.
• Manicure. Im into creative arts. So i like painting my nails specially nail art design. Natututo pko.
• Hair Treatment. I bought my own hair cellophane product and it so much better than going to salon.Bought it for 600php. I can use up to 20x.

Latest gadgets unless sobrang kailangan ang features. Kasi ang latest gadgets, after 2 months, hindi na sya latest.

Luxury brands for bags and shoes. There are better things to spend on given the cost of these bags and shoes.

Fakes or knock offs.

Super expensive clothes. I cannot bring myself to spend more than 1.5k for clothes.

knock offs - sayang pera. e.g. purse/bag - i'd go for the no name/unknown brand but quality pagkakagawa. i know some people, para lang masabi that they have something branded, ok na yung triple A.

Anything ridiculously priced, mostly mga designer stuff. May ilang bagay na worth buying kahit medyo mahal, and that includes appliances, pero yung mga bags, shoes, makeup, etc na branded at talaga namang pagkamahal-maha - too much na.

Hotel accomodations though I must admit medyo natetempt na ako for this holy week, para sa mga bata pero kung sa akin lang bahay nalang ako.

disposable coffee stirrer - i also get it from cofee shops

for bags and watch, fan ako ng mga to pero parang di ko kayang mag abot ng kahit mag kano para sa mga items na yan. pero iba feeling of excitement ko kahit makita ko lang sa malls so pagtinatanong ako anong gift gusto ko, yan ang mga nirerequest ko. bag or watch.

1. Starbucks coffee - buti na lang 3in1 lang oks na saken at wala akong hilig sa kape
2. Expensive shoes and bags - last ko na yung longchamp ko, durable naman kaya reasonable yung price pero mostly 5k and below ang bags ko. Sa shoes naman, mahal na saken pag more than 10k pero kasi running shoes ang pinakamamahal sa mga sapatos ko
3. Gym membership - pumayat naman ako dati ng running and diet lang, thru reading books ang research ng proper diet, sinamahan ko lang ng  discipline at determination.

Tapos paying for a print. And paying for the styro and utensils pag magtakeout ka sa canteen. Like wtf. Haha.

I don't spend on
- movie tickets
- clothes (ukay-ukay at tiangge, okay na sakin. Nasa pagdadala lang yan hehe!)
- starbucks coffee too and other overpriced food (7/11 coffee for the win sakin!)
- make up (everyday makeup lang kelangan ko)
- designer bags (i seriously don't like their style. stiff and formal)
- jewelry (earrings and watch lang masaya na ko)
- gadgets
- drinking
- perfume (baby powder scent lang gusto ko)

I only spend on travel and clothes and shoes for my work. Other than that, wala na. Kuripot na.
