I don't think so kasi pagkain pa din naman yun sis at saka promotion ng business ng Fiance mo  Kumbaga it's part of your life together din, masarap pa! Check mo na lang sa coordinator kung meron siyang alam na pwedeng maghandle. Pag sa caterer, baka malaki charge.

Can I include photobooth as nice to haves? Recently I noticed on every event that I go to dko na like a mag photobooth.
I feel so sawa with these wacky, patootsy shots maybe I'm KJ lol pero I'm not leaning on getting a photobooth.

Are there any other couples na walang photobooth? Parang Hindi ko Lang talga feel haha:)

Sis summer_princess, I don't think kelangan may photobooth, really. For us, we decided to get one lang just so the guests have something to do while waiting for the reception to start. So photobooth plus candy slash cocktails buffet so occupy their time while waiting for the recption to start.

^ same here sis.  we won't be having a photobooth on our may 2013 wedding.  same with you na cocorny-han ako.  its a nice-to-have since trending yan ngayon sa mga celebrations. but to be practical, hindi naman necessity yan.  what we will do though is have one photogapher go around during cocktails and take pics of everybody. then i'll just post their pics in fb afterwards for them to grab.

summer_princess: wala rin kami photobooth hehe. What we’ll do is make a nice “stage” or photo area for the guests, pero kanya kanyang picture lang.

Ang dami rin namin wala. Hehe. We won’t have a mobile bar (bili lang kami beer and use our old wines lying around our houses). Yung prenup namin, care of hobbyist photog friends lang. Wala rin kaming prenup stylist. Bahala na kung anong mahalungkat namin sa cabinet haha. We’ll ask our fashionista friends to help us out nalang. Kung makakahiram kami sa friends ng car na maganda, yun na rin yung bridal car.

Ayaw ko talaga magsplurge on these things kasi ibubuhos talaga namin yung limited budget namin sa food and flowers. We really want nice flowers, kahit other people say malalanta lang sila and nobody notices.

We also want nice invites. So yung masesave namin on things that we won’t avail of, ibubuhos namin sa mga priorities namin.

yung future mother in law ko na nagdedemand na 150k lang daw gastusin namin. Nagtatanong about sa photobooth. Ok naman ang photobooth during cocktails pampalipas oras. nkakaaliw daw. Pero kung hindi naman matagal na darating ang kinasal hindi na yun need. Ang balak ko nga gawin during cocktails since matagal kami makakarating sa reception. Magpapa dimsum buffet nalang ako saka games during cocktails. Habang wala pa kami para magenjoy ang mga guest. Mas type ko mag dagdag sa food kesa photobooth. Tapos kung may mahanap akong kamaganak na magaling mag picture papaikutin ko rin sa table to keep the guest busy. kasi boring talaga maghintay. Ako nga 30 minutes palang restless na.

sabihan ko kaya yung host namin na mag pa bingo or pera o bayong during cocktails para maaliw ang guest? Siguro hanggang matapos ang reception? enjoy kaya yun? nagiisip kasi ako ng games na kakaiba. Saka magpaparaffle ako during reception. Pero chocolates lang na diy ang prize.

ako din sis, yan ang iniisip ko.  nakakainip maghintay and kailangan hindi lang basta cocktails dapat may ice breaker man lang para hindi mainip ang guests.  45mins-1hr ang cocktails namin. and isang venue lang ang ceremony at reception.  lalabas lang kami for photo ops. 

i like your bingo idea.  yung mga laman ng squares something about the couple na iccross-out nila.  maganda yun sis. you can tell your lovestory through the bingo card.

Ayyy!! Nice to know madami pala ang wala photobooth here. Anyway yes im a non trad bride. And being
a former planner I've witnessed more than a dozen weddings where guests go home mid way!

As in during the games, half empty na ang venue! I do not want that to happen. So I'm planning a non trad
Program that they won't know what's happening next!

I don't want a traditional bouquet garter toss (no games like this at all!) I don't want a cake cutting, heck I don't
Even want a wedding cake at all. But I'll have a cake buffet wherein all our (or my) fave cakes will be served.

^sis summer since planner ka. Baka you can share insights or tips  sa mga naattendan mong weddings kung paano yung ginawa na until end of the reception most ng mga  guest nagstay at hindi umuwi?

ako kasi iniisip ko nang mangyayari talaga na may uuwi na guest during reception. Balak kong sabihin yung host na tawagin isa isa yung mga guest na uuwi at pabalikin sa pwesto nila.  nakalista yan sa checklist ko. I don't know kung may iba pang paraan na pweding gawin na pakulo to keep the guest until end of the reception.

Hi sis summer_princess kami wala kami photobooth during our wedding! At first hindi na kasi carry ng budget namin kasi 6k will go a long way for us. Though last minute gusto ko na, hindi na rin namin pinursue kasi extra aalahanin pa (dami na e ). Turns out, maganda rin pala kasi walang distractions during the program kapag wala. It's fine sis, really. Our wedding became more intimate and guests focused more in the program

Kami din mga sis, walang photobooth nung wedding namin. Ayoko din kasi na tumatayo ang guests during the program. At ang dami ko na din na witness na wedding na halos kalahati ng guests nakapila sa photobooth during the program. Sad yun siyempre sa side ng couple. Kahit may stop time ang photobooth, minsan hindi mapigilan ang guests. Good thing meron na ngayon walking photobooth..

Para hindi mag uwian ang guests, just keep your program short pero enjoy ang guests.

I don't want a traditional bouquet garter toss (no games like this at all!) I don't want a cake cutting, heck I don't Even want a wedding cake at all. But I'll have a cake buffet wherein all our (or my) fave cakes will be served.

We'll do this as well, but with cake cutting. A cake for each year we've been together, so total of 10 cakes. The 10th one will be slightly bigger than the others. For practicality's sake though, I don't want any other dessert served. I think it would be too much if there's still dessert and cake buffet since we'll only have max 100 guests. May caterer bang pumapayag sa ganun? Convert the dessert to another viand perhaps?

hi everyone!

i'm michelle and i am new here in this forum. guess we are all here for a common reason hehe. well i'm getting married this december 14 and my preparations aren't done yet. my mom told me that i was so excited to get married since as early as january i made some reservations already (church, venue, caterer, etc.). then i found this. well i am not really in to forums but when i saw this one god i was so surprised and yet happy. i've been reading a lot of posts on some threads and learned a lot from you girls. thank you! so here's what i still need for my wedding and hope someone can help me with this planning and everything. i'm on a tight budget and i would appreciate suggestions re suppliers.

1. church - st. vincent de paul. manila (booked)
2. reception - ibarra's garden, manila (booked)
3. preparation - still looking at lotus hotel
4. coordinator - do i still need this? would you girls prefer an "on the day" service since i can do some of the reservations myself? any suggestions on this?
5. p/v - read a comment regarding blissful house digital, checked their works online and it was really nice and price is very reasonable. thanks myhra!
6. bridal car - a friend is offering me his white honda accord car for 1,500? should i get this already?
7. gown - check out some styles in divisoria. anybody who can recommend a shop there?
8. photobooth - yes or no?
9. wedding cake - still can't decide on this but i am thinking of getting it from sweet solutions
10. wedding rings - need cheap ones. is it practical to buy in ongpin?

i need to complete this first before third quarted of 2013 ends.
