ako if may mga expenses ako na kaya namang iwasan, iniiwasan ko na lang. like for the bridal car, as much as i want to have a super luxury car for my bridal car, i just settled with our own car. laki rin ng savings nun diba kaysa magrent ako which might cost at least 10k pa. bridal shoes din, nagpacustomized nalang ako kay faire la fete. actually fiance wanted me to get designer shoes, kaya lang nanghihinayang din ako so we agreed na magpacustomize nalang. laking savings din diba. basta if kaya naman ilet go, nag leletgo na ko, dagdag budget din yun para sa ibang non-nego expenses namin

sometimes nawawala pagka practical ko. hahahaha. i was really looking into wedding hosts, and for a while gusto ko some hosts na worth 15k -  20k. pero natauhan talaga ako sa 20k,naisip ko, hmmm ilang araw rin ng pagkain yun. or pwede na plane tickets. hahaha.

i agree sis! actually whenever im having a hard time letting go of "nice to have wedding chorva" ---iniisip ko na lang, our wedding will still be perfect kahit  wala yun. Basta complete ang docs and H2B & our families are present on our wedding day ^_^

ang idea ko, ento dresses are not gowns but dresses para hindi 1 time gamit.. i saw some dresses na parang pang sunday dress for the fgs sa st francis.. P400 per dress.. not bad. just took a picture kaya lang di ko ma upload..

i also saw some dresses na pwede sa mga abay but i told them, we'll meet up and discuss it, after all, sila naman magsusuot..

^sis! ganyan din ako! nasasangayan talaga ko pag one time na gamitan lang tapos bibilin mo ng mahal. well, it's me. the kuripot me. haha. Sa divi naman ako nagask ng cocktail dresses, they can give me daw each for 350php if i'm getting five. not bad na. sa mga guys naman, puro long sleeves lang with cute na tie, at least mas malamang na magamit nila ulit ang long sleeves kesa barong.

wow... P350 for a cocktail dress. super mura yun ha!!! like ko yan.. ako din, ang gusto ko, si h2b lang naka barong kaya gusto ko din longsleeves lang for the abays.. hmmm.. sige nga sis, dagdag pa ng suggestions.

Hi mga sis! practical bride here, nag-usap kami ni hubby regarding sa wedding budget at grabe talga, ang hinayang ko sa magagastos namin just for one day, instead na magamit namin yung money for our future. so we thought of having an intimate church wedding with a civil wedding set up. no entourage, just immediate families and closest friends. para Church parin, then ang reception ay sa resto na malapit, I'm just wondering if this is possible? or required ng Chucrh na may entourage and all? your advice is highly appreciated.

^entourage is not required. you would only need the godparents as witnesses. i considered having this set-up but fiance told me that he doesn't want me to regret that i didn't have the wedding just because of being too practical.

^i think depende sa church. sa paco chapel kasi nakastate na minimum of 1 pair.

pwedeng pwede! saka tama yan na pareho kayo na yan ang gusto kasi sigurado makakarinig ka sa ibang tao about not having an entourage or too little godparents.

prepared na kami sa sasabihin nila. basta ang importante naman makasal kami with blessing of God and kasama talaga yung mga pinakaimportanteng tao sa buhay namin. mas importante parin samin ang after the wedding which is married life. sis Bella23, I admire you for being really firm on this decision. totoo naman kasi na mas malaki ang gastos after ng wedding.. I guess most of us wanted a simple wedding, until magsalita ang mga epal.. hehe.. and of course,hindi naman natin gusto mapulaan yung wedding natin..

pero sabi ko nga kay hubby if we were to renew our vows, we'll have it at a small church with just a best man and MOH, then 1 pair of sponsors, immediate family and close friends lang.. siguro mga 50 guests, at DIY lahat.. pati food kahit kami na lang din since sanay naman kami magluto ng marami, dahil almost every weekend ang get-together dito sa bahay namin..

may naisip na nga akong venue agad eh.. backyard wedding, yung house kasi nila hubby sa tagaytay may malaking lawn.. pwede na yun!

^ true sis.. ako kahit anong sabi nila, wala na talagang mapipiga sa bulsa namin kaya nag stick talaga ako sa budget.. hehe una 150k for 100 guests.. kaso nagdagdag ng guests so dagdag budget din..

^wow sis.. backyard wedding?! super nice.. picnic kasi ang theme namin so mostly ng magagandang set up eh backyard. super simple.. intimate at homey ang feel!!!

ang expected kasi namin is 200guests.. 130 kasi family pa lang since malaki talaga ang families na pinanggalingan namin... that is.. hanggang first cousins lang yun.... kaya naman talagang hirap kami maglimit.. haaaaay... sana lang hindi kami lumampas ng 150k.. ambisyosa ba masyado?! hehe

naisip ko maybe you can get Madel's budget package then add DIY styling na lang.. I think their budget package starts at P325, I'm not very sure though..

you can even probably ask anj if you can borrow vases from her (small ones) and then you do the floral styling.. in the peg you posted, they were simply hand-tied at nilagay sa vase.. or start ka na magipon ng used wine bottles for your project.. hehe
