SNOWFLAKES, better! You are a co-equal of your husband in that land of unfair equality. lol
I will share something with you... 1 of the reasons my husband decided we thrive here instead of there is because (he will not say it directly, but) ang tatapang daw ng mga wives dyan. (eh nang mag sabog daw si God ng katapangan and katarayan, nag cut in line pa daw ako with a big bilao, lol)
That is the country where Pinoy husbands, mostly, get boinked! coz wives really have the opportunity to race to advancement alongside their husbands. (The job market and the potential is so wide and varied, take advantage of it SNOWFLAKES.) and double boink! they find out that they gotta share with the household chores and child rearing even if they are the only ones with a job. That's life in the USA, welcome... boink, boink, boink, boink. lol
Fine, he wants to be super tight-fisted with his money, pwes... fully recover your health, then scan what jobs you can get. Meron, marami, even with the recession on-going. Hwag ka lang maarte expecting a position like what you had here. You gotta start all over again.
Fine, let him be. BUT get yourself to the point where you are making your own money. Tapos ikaw naman hwag magpa utang and give to him, kahit gumulong gulong sya.
Walang magbabantay ng bata? hello, darling, America na yan. He is equally obligated to care for the kids as you have the equal right to pursue a career outside the home.
Or if you should decide you should care for the kids -- that it is best, pwes you are entitled to an allowance. May monetary value and compensation yang being a home manager ha.
Credit cards? Puede ka bang buy ng buy tapos return mo for cash?
That is 1 old way of making kupit.
Pwes, ayaw mag bigay, pwes it is your time to make kupit.
O sige, batuhin ako... but what is one to do with a selfish husband?
But well, let us be realistic, making kupit harks back to early history as long as there is a madamot man with a woman living together... as old as the oldest profession, IMO
Hay naku. SNOWFLAKES, andyan ka na, make the most of it.
Kelangan tumapang tapang ka, lalo na ryan hindi ka puede batukan. lol
Atchaka, you are both immigrants, hindi ka umaasa sa goodwill ng citizen-hubby for your legal stay.
Why did you go to the Land of the Free, the Land of Unfair Equality, the Land of the Possible, etc etc etc kung magmukmuk ka lang?
You have an exciting life ahead of you, grab it.
(Pag kumikita ka na at nagbakasyon ka dito sa Pinas, please give a sandwich and bottle of water to a street child ha? Do not give money. Thanks)
