^Agree with Pandan island! Hubby and I stayed there for a week when there was only one hut built by the owner of the island. We stayed on the second floor while the manong caretaker stayed on the ground floor. He was our personal butler. He would cook all our meals. And laging fresh catch of the day. We had the whole island to us plus of course the 5-10 fishing families living there. Feeling namin Robinson Crusoe kami since we were back to basics. We didn't take our watch or phones with us so the only way we can tell time is when we see planes flying overhead  ;D
Very memorable experience! How is Pandan island nowadays?

5-7 hours ang byahe by van to el nido.

Yes if beach ang hanap niyo, then go to either El Nido or Coron. Sa PP tour kasi, you'll be toured around the city din, hindi lang puro beaches. :)

^sis mas lalo tuloy akong na excite sa sinabi mo about Firefly watching, 21 more days to go and i'll be on PP yay! I can't wait ;D , for sure i will include firefly on my plans.

Hope you enjoy your vacation there! :)

makikisabat lang  :) .... if beach gusto nyo and puerto prinsesa ang destination then sabang beach is the best bet for me. The first time I went to PP we stayed at PP city then El Nido, then last March iniba ko itinerary, sa sabang kami nag-stay. Mas nag-enjoy ako dun kesa nung nag-stay kami sa city, daming pwedeng gawin and ang ganda ng beach nila  :) parang naging side tour na lang ang Honda Bay and City tour...kwe-kwento ko pala yung Day 2 namin..

Day 2

10am - underground river tour na kami, from resort 10 mins walk lang papuntang wharf. included na sa hotel package namin yung tour so sila na lahat nag-asikaso. 6 kami sa boat. pagbaba may magpi-
picture sa inyo, nasa inyo kung kukunin nyo or hinde, 175 each yung pinakamaliit.

ATV Jungle Trail - di ko expect na sobrang mage-enjoy kami dito, the best ATV I've tried so far is yung sa Mt Mayon, Legaspi, this one naman enjoy din, though maliit yung trail but mahirap, plus the their ATV is manually operated. before that umulan kase kaya yung trail puro putik. there was a time na dumulas na ATV ko eh medyo malalim babagsakan ko, ayun super tulak si kuya guide and bf. naka-3 ikot kami, paglabas taong putik na kami...

For those visiting Puerto Princesa and looking for good food, eto ang recommendations ko:

Dampa sa Mansion Seafood Restaurant (beside Commodore Mansion)
They have the best Chili Crabs and Ranga-ranga Calamares
Set menus are good for 10 persons for only 2,500.00.
Meron ng 1kg each of Sinigang sa Miso, Chili Crab, Buttered Garlic Prawn, Calamares Ranga Ranga, Kibaw Sabaw, Rice and Iced Tea. Meron ding small market sa gilid na dun kayo bibili ng seafoods tapos ipapaluto nyo sa kanila for only 100pesos per kilo per dish ang charge.

Ka Lui Restaurant (better if with reservation)
Yung Sinigang sa Kaka ang the best for me saka yung fried talong na meron parang salsa.

We also ate at:
Balinsasayaw
Food is okay kaso super tagal ng serving time. Almost 1 hour kami naghintay tapos di pa kumpleto lahat ng orders pagka-serve. Gutom na gutom na kami kaya di na namin ma-appreciate yung lasa hehe.

Haim Chicken Inato
Affordable ang set meals nila dito. 90pesos lang for a set of rice, atsara and quarter chicken. Masarap din sya.

Badjao Seafront Restaurant
View at ambiance lang ang maganda dito.  Food and service hindi ako satisfied.

^ okay naman sis! We shot at Pandan Island -- tumawid kami dun sa boundary/bakod hehe  :P and then we went to Adobo Island also.

About 15mins drive from the city kahit trike lang sakyan nyo puede.  Ganda dito sis, super presko ng hangin at sarap ng food.  The owner is so mabait din  :)

Yes we shouldered all of the expenses kasama na rin kasi yung HMUA :-)  We stayed at Audissie Pension lang. But if you're looking for a really nice one, Hotel Centro is the best.

Guys, if you're planning to go to PR, I suggest that you would include in your itinerary the IWAHIG RIVER FIREFLY WATCHING AND STARGAZING. It sounds boring, and initially we were tempted to skip that part, but believe me, the experience is so worth it. During our 4 days stay, that's the top 1 for my most enjoyed tour. :D

sis pag dating nyo dyan anung ginawa nyo? naglakad ba kayo sa patawid sa river?

^No sis, you will be toured in the Iwahig river through a boat. Maximum of 3 persons/boat, excluding the boatman. Around 30-45 minutes kang ibabangka sa river. Super enjoy!! :)

Thanks for the update, sis ~tiArA~. Sana makapunta pa rin kami this year.

shegothim - thanks :)

tiara - nagba-bounce back yung email ko?
