^ good luck to your friend. sana maka singil pa sila. malaking halaga din ang 100k. hinanap ko yung fb nila, di ko na makita. nag reklamo na ba yung friend mo sa dti? dapat gumawa na sila ng legal steps to recover their money.

akala ng pab star vip service ang hinihingi ko sa kanila. pero basic customer service lang naman ang request ko. they're in the service industry kaya dapat willing sila mag reply sa mga email/text at tawag ng customers nila. lalong lalo na kung paid na yung customer nila.

Wala na sila sis. Sinampahan na daw ng case ng maraming irate customers. Yung may.ari still responds to emails minsan, but will not respond to text and won't answer calls na daw. Grabe, all over pinas yung na abala nila. May 1 group daw ata na more than 400k yung na spend nila, so ngayon, they're looking for refunds din, but of course, wala pa. But my friend said na some groups received their refunds na daw. Hopefully nga, everyone gets refunds. May nag sumbong na daw kay Tulfo, dunno how that works though. I think my friend's group filed a case na sa local court and nag sumbong na sa DTI.

^ yung kasama ko dati sa office kumuha din pala sila ng tour sa pab star. mga 4-5 families daw sila. nabigyan ng check pero tumalbog. hayun galit na galit yung isang kasama nila kaya ngayon di na sila sinasagot ng may ari. pero nag deposit daw ng 10k sa account nila. 10k is such a small amount kung 4-5 families sila na kumuha ng tour.

naka experience na den ako nito sa Metrodeal, muntik-muntikan na buti na lang kahit paano na refund pero hindi cash into points na lang kaya naka-avail kame sa Triball Hills...

Lesson Learned: na wag na wag kukuha ng promo deal pag meron ka tie-up na travel agency yung deal site sa mga promo's, mas maganda kung direct mismo yung promo kung saan mag sstay...

@purpleish: actually yung sa friend ko, sa travel agency sila mismo nag book. at ewan ko ba na sa dinami-dami ng travel agencies around, they decided to purchase from pab star pa. at ang layo2 pa ng office ng pabstar sa location namin. kung susuwertehin ba naman.

used our sinagtala resort vouchers. but the staff weren't nice. iba ang treatment nila sa regular paying customers versus us who used the vouchers. kakainis di ba? siguro the owners didn't train the staff well.
the place was nice if you're into nature talaga. the accomodations didn't have tv and wifi. boring for others. (but kami we enjoyed it) almost nothing to do there but relax talaga. they have a pool pero there's a separate fee for using it.200 pesos. daily ha. so if overnight kayo and you used the pool for 2 days then you'll pay for 2 days use. better di ba if one payment lang. kasi overnight guests naman...but much better if wala ng bayad yung pool.  kasi what's the sense in going there if you can't use their amenities for free di ba?

I used ensogo's crown regency vouchers last May. Super ok naman experience namin. Ok naman service ng Crown Regency Mactan, Cebu. Hassle free reservation. Ewan ko lang sa ibang branch ha.

i just used my boracay deal.  ok naman the travel agency, simple travels.  ang bad trip lang talaga was zest air!  1st, our departure was supposed to be 7:50am so ok lang kahit via kalibo kasi at least by lunch time sana nasa boracay na kami.  2 days before, nagtext ang zest air and they moved it to 12:20.  syempre, 4PM na kami nakarating sa boracay so parang less half day na yung stay namin dun.

then, going back to manila, we were supposed to leave kalibo at 4:25.  day before, zest air moved it to 3:50 which is ok lang with me since i wanna see my kids na rin.  bigla, lunch time the day we're supposed to leave na, they moved it to 6:40.  then, nung nasa airport na kami, minove na naman to 7:30.  hayyy...but other than that, i didn't have any problem with the claiming of the voucher.  sana lang, i asked prior to purchasing the voucher kung via kalibo or caticlan.  yun lang.

I was really having 2nd thoughts if I'm going to avail of this deal kasi nga dami ngang nga scams na travel deals.  Good deal sana to,  I was suppose to avail it this coming long weekend holiday.  Kaso not valid for weeken and long weekend travels.  Another thing, since Kalibo ang route,  medyo matagal ang biyahe. Although this promo is still available,  just decided to book my flight via Cebu Pac and availed of their Promo Rates.

We purchased 2 vouchers from Metrodeal for 4days/ 3nights in HK and Shenzhen with airfare, city tour and Disneyland all pass for 11,750. The travel agency is PAB STAR TRAVEL AND TOURS. It was fully paid last year pa. After we got the voucher code, we immediately got in touch with Pab Star, we asked them to reserve a date ASAP but we were informed that fully booked na gusto namin original date. We ended up reserving a travel date on November. Around March this year I found out I'm pregnant kaya we had to either re-schedule the travel date earlier or transfer the package to someone else. A few months ago, around May, I got in touch with them through email. Someone replied to my emails quickly and medyo nagulat pa ko kasi the first few times we got in touch with them sobrang tagal and hassle. I was informed na we needed to deposit P1,800.00 para ma-transfer yun travel package. Noon kasi we didn't know who to give the vouchers kaya medyo nawalan ng contact for a while. This month lang we decided to give the voucher as a wedding gift, I sent an email today sa Pab Star and ayun saka ko lang nalaman na the person I was contact with no longer works there since June 18, 2012. We called their landline number and mobile number pero wala, hindi na namin sila ma-contact. We wanted to call Metrodeal pero I can't find their landline number. Ayun, after calling the mobile number of Pab Star biglang pinatay yung cellphone. It's really frustrating, unang-una nasabihan na namin yun pagbibigyan namin ng voucher, they seem excited kaya ngayon ang hirap yata sabihin na hindi na tuloy, pangalawa hindi rin naman biro ang P20k+ nagamit pa sana namin sa panganganak ko. I'm not sure if we should call it a scam pero after reading TONS of review online na di natuloy tour nila and hanggang ngayon hindi pa sila na-refund, ewan ko na lang. Hayyy.... some people have said na close na nga raw ang Pab Star and someone filed a complaint sa Bulacan, supposedly dun daw located office nila and hindi yata registered. I'm sorry kung na-off topic ako pero advice lang do a LOT of research before purchasing something online.

^eto talaga fear ko why I don't purchase travel deals online.  Sayang talaga sis ang 20K.  Yung iba kaya nang manganal sa mga secondary hospitals sa 20k.   Sana ma-refund ka pa rin sis.

My experience naman was with Groupon Philippines. Before I purchased, I called the hotel muna to verify if they have an existing promo with Groupon. I also checked if OK pa yung dates na preferred ko before I purchase. Nung nakuha ko na yung details saka ako bumili ng voucher. So far, my experience was hassle free and yung staff sa Boracay were very nice, warm and accomodating.

BEWARE IN BUYING PROMO TOUR AT ENSOGO

hi sis, i just want to share, for your infos na din, para hindi ito mangyari sa inyo

we bought the package tour on jan 2013 at ensogo at i think 26,500php. all in (airfare, hotel, tour) the name of travelling agency is FLAGS TRAVEL DIRECT.

we plan to go on april 2013.

nung feb, we called the agency to let them know the dates of our choice. then asking to email us the tour/itinerary. madalas no reply and acknowledgement kung natanggap ang email namin or question. parang palaging dedma.

march, we had an arguement regarding the travel confirmation , ticket and tour/itinerary dahil hindi pa rin na-email samin. we need to know when is our travel date to know our schedule dahil mag-leleave pa kami sa work. tapos siya pa yun galit dahil daw marami daw bumili ng promo sa kanila hindi daw niya matandaan lahat. of course i understand, my point is ako na nga ang nagreremind and follow up, pwede mo naman sabihin na ay nakalimutan ko, sige ill send it na to you... palagi siyang galit kausap. magulo. like sinabi niya na may ticket na kayo, nung sinabi ko na email me my ticket sasagot niya, wala pa nga kayong ticket. tapos hindi niya ko pinapasalita, palagi siya salita ng salita. ewan ko kung nagpopower trip dahil alam niya na wala na ko magagwa dahil bayad nako.

anyway, hanggang sa pag-gawa ng visa namin ang gulo kausaup ng may-ari, mabuti pa yun assistant niya and messenger hindi magulo kausap. sinabi pa nun messenger niya samin na, madami sila prob sa office kasi magulo yun may-ari.

so lahat ng inis, stress. pinabayaan ko na hindi ko na pinatulan, dahil hahaba lang.

nung wed april 10 nagtext siya na cancel flight na daw kami and wait for email ng rerouting, so i called and said na hindi ako magpapachange and tutuloy kami ng korea. sabi niya yun text message niya means if gusto ko pa-cancel o hindi. so ok na, i told her i dont want to change.

nung thurs april 11, i asked her kung PWEDE PA MAGCHANGE, she said ITATANONG KO PA. (kasi nga diba kahapon i said i dont want to change)

april 12 fri april 13 sat - no reply from her. so we thought, maybe hindi na pwede change, kaya go nalang korea

1AM ang flight namin, so we were at the airport at 10:30, ang daming tao sa check-in counter meaning madaming pupunta. nung turn na namin, the ground stewardess said wala name namin dun, please call your travelling agency or go sa cebu pac office.

when i called FLAGS TRAVEL DIRECT, she said "gabing gabi na pwede bukas ka nalang tumawag" then i said sorry kasi nasa airport ako now, hindi mahanp yun name namin, she said "NAGPA-CANCEL KAYO MAM" sabi ko hindi ako nagpa-cancel. then she said "wala na tayo magagawa mam, gabing gabi na, bukas nalang kayo tumawag" kakapikon diba?!!! so binaba ko na phone.

nung chineck ng cebu pacific ticket namin, hindi kami cancelled flight, our tickets were booked on april 11-14, so lumalabas no show kami sa cebu pac. pinakita ko ticket na binigay ng agency sabi ng cebu pac edited daw yun..

hay... sobrang haba na, sorry.

ayaw na makipagusap nun may-ari sa amin, ang kausap ko now is yun mabait na assistant niya. sobrang hassle....

ingat sa pagbili ng promo ha. =)

Hindi talaga advisable bumili ng travel vouchers kasi hassle talaga yan. My travel agency is not affiliated of any promo deals kaya wala kaming ganyang issues.

I've purchased a travel deal sa Ensogo, El-Nido package for my parents. Wedding anniversary gift ko sa kanila.  The agency was 3 Kings Travel and Tours. Bought the deal last February. A week after I bought the deal, nagtry na ako magpabook. Nagkaroon kami ng email and text exchange. Travel date agreed upon was May 29-31.

Eto na. April, nagfafollowup na ako. They we're insistent na 2 weeks before the floght daw isesend yung etickets and service vouchers.

Exactly 2 weeks before the flight, nagfollowup ako. Sabi nila, they will send the etickets and vouchers up until May 22. sabi nila, ang partner airline daw kasi nila was zestair. lahat daw ng bookings nila kinansel without further notice.

May 19, nagemail sa akin si agency at pinapatawag ako sa ensogo. Kinabahan na ako na something went wrong. Ayu na nga! Si ensogo na daw ang maghahandle ng bookings and tours! So that same day, ine-mail ko kay ensogo lahat ng exchange of emails namin, yung traveller's info, and i've changed the travel date to May 27. i believe ensogo endorsed us to another travel agency.

May 22, nagfollowup ako sa ensogo at ia-update daw nila ako bukas.

i'm getting frustrated with this. ang bilis ko nagbayad, ang aga ko nagpabook...and then this?! naiiyak ako kasi this is supposed to be a gift for my parents and they are expecting na matutuloy sila...
