Hay, i feel the same talaga. Most of my money goes to make up(lippies), when in fact, kung maganda ka talaga you don't need to put all that clutter in  your face. (no offense meant) parang narealize ko lang sya. walang problema mag enhance. pero yung thousands na ginagastos ko for make up sana bag and clothes nalang... Kaya join ako dito! aanhin ko naman sobrang ganda ng muk ap ko pero sa pananamit talo naman! haha Imagine one lippie or foundi minsan equal na sa sandals or something

Before, sandamakmak na makeup nilalagay ko sa face, pero when I gave birth and went back to work, wala na talagang time for make-up.

Plus nagagalit hubby ko pag super dami nilalagay ko sa face. Gusto nya tamang powder lang and lip balm. Kaso di naman ako mabubuhay sa ganun! Haha. So compromise na lang... ginagamit kong concealer yung mousse foundie ko, tas powder, blush, lip balm, slight swipe ng lipstick, tas konting eyebrow pencil na lang.

kelangan ko magjoin ulit dito since tinatamad na ko mag mua. sobrang dami ko ng makeups pero naaappreciate naman siya nj hubby kasi lumalabas creativity ko

That's what I'm trying to do now. Also, I don't want to wear too much makeup on my face...that's why I'm splurging on skin care products now to improve my skin from head to foot pati singit singit. Ayaw ko kasi ng 'maganda' ako pag may makeup lang, tapos pag wala na akong makeup....hala ang sagwa ng ichura ko.

Gastos din sobra kasi ang mamahal ng nagugustuhan kong brands. I have to minimize everything para din may additional money pa ako to finance my projects...I'm into NGO work po kasi. So now ang drama ko ay Beauty with Substance. Kaya if ever mag splurge ako ay into health/skin care muna, hindi na sa mga makeups. At yung mga pambili ko ng makeups, isesave ko nalang for my projects.

gusto ko na din gawin to, dumadami na yung make up ko na hindi ko naman nagagamit. I am thinking of just spending for clothes. kaya lang hirap na hirap ako! napapabili pa rin ako lagi ng make up

whenever i'm in the mall or any beauty store, i can't help but browse through the cosmetics section and try make-up. i always end up buying, then pag-uwi ko saka ko lang ma-realize may 3 or 4 pa pala ako na ganun. LOL.

Beauty Minimalism na ako ngayon kasi wala na akong pambili after akong mapasubo sa pagpapacolor at pagpapahighlight ng hair. Nakakaiyak.wahhhhh!

Ayka, very much like me! Kaya iwas iwas talaga ako sa Beauty Counters. Problem ko, I left my numbers sa iba't ibang SA before para pwede nila ako itext pag may new collection na  hahah! pati yung chipipay na Nyx, Sleek, at Barry M ay pinatulan ko ang cucute kasi ng colors. Pero stop na ako ngayon, I MUST!
 
Pero sana gumana naman din naman sa akin yung mga skin care products na affordable lang. Focus na nga ako sa skin care ngayon pero ang mamahal din. Hay my journey to find an affordable alternative naman this time...

Before bili ako ng bili ng mga pambeauty new years resolution ko for 2012 yun basic and natural way of beauty regimen so far natupad ang promise ko for now i only use olive oil as my moisturizer, then sunblock and powder.. Good thing i am fair so im not into whitening.. Aside from that i take vitamins fern c  and grapeseed but im thinking to add or replace grapeseed to collagen capsule. i have facial din pal sa lets face it 2x this year so far so good.

I already started doing this last month. Pinamigay ko [textspeak!] iba, tinira ko lang kung ano [textspeak!] madalas ko gamitin and yung alam kong kakailanganin ko for special occasions.

i have the same problem.. my boyfriend calls it a vice.. when we go out I cannot restrain myself from buying beauty related products.. nag lessen na nga eh.. coz i realized that i had a lot (i have a traincase that's full and half of it i haven't even opened yet coz they're backups).. i even buy online and pay the ridiculous shipping price from US..

i just have enough time to wear lipbalm and a powder foundation before rushing out of the house for work.. so i said to myself "stop wasting money!" here i am.. haven't bought anything since April.. but i think i'm breaking my streak (for makeup) when the Chanel holiday collection reaches here..

I once hoarded makeup when I was contemplating becoming a makeup artist. Once I got my MUA diploma, I realized I didn't need everything I can get my hands on. A girl can only have so much makeup. Even the way I wear my makeup has changed. Super minimal na talaga. I even enjoy going out sans face paint.

I started wearing makeup only last year (I'm now 37 years old) when my best friend gave me a lipstick for my bday. People always comment that I look way too young for my age (napapagkamalan pa akong studyante in the university where I teach) and I think it's because hindi nga ako nagme-makeup. My colleagues tendto look more mature than their age kasi full make up everyday. Kalbo ang kilay ko and imagine, never ako nag eyebrow pencil in my life until last year! So here's what I put on my face now for work(no makeup on weekends):

BB cream
Eyebrow powder
blush
lipgloss/lipstick
mascara

oo nga ako din beginner pa lang sa make ups pero natatambakan na ako ng lippies na hindi ko maubos ubos, most of the time naka powder mascara at lip gloss lang ako... hahay...

Ako I only buy yung mga products na wala ako and one at a time... except for lippies. hehe
I don't even have a foundation kasi I think the BB Cream I'm using right now is all I need.
So I have:
Moisturizer, eyelash curler, BB  Cream, concealer, mascara, eyebrow shader, eyeliner, a blush, a balm, some e/s and lippies

haist! I remember when i started working, my makeup pouch only had:
clean & clear compact
Loreal lip gloss,
Blush (which I only use when I feel like dressing up)

And before leaving home, I only put on tinted moisturizer and eyebrow powder. Naku, ngayon e eyeshadow and concealer lang hindi ko ginagamit!
