Baby Due on January, February & March 2012 - Part 7

Ako din, went to the OB kanina. Sabi niya, by February 29, pwede na daw ako manganak. Howmygad, ayaw ko manganak ng leap year. Tawa siya ng tawa.

I also passed all tests, kaya natuwa siya. for two weeks, i gained only 1 lb, although sabi niya, my stomach is full of baby, kasi malaking tao si husband kaya malaki din si baby. sana talaga kayanin ko normal delivery.

Tapos, pag uwi ko, dumating yung LBC guy, may dalang package for me. Nagulat ako talaga kasi parang baby shower in a box! Yung friends ko sa manila, nagpadala sila ng gifts, with matching boa and crown and wall decor. tapos nagpadala sila videos. iyak ako ng iyak talaga. Tapos dumating din yung pinacustomize namin na wooden playpen. parang naging mas totoo na tuloy na talagang padating na si baby. whew.

sis katiztic and princessrio oh no what if we all have Feb 29 babies?!?!?! Hahaha my OB laughed rin when I said I don't want her born on Feb 29, my husband naman kept teasing me that she will be born on Feb 29!!

Sis princessrio I feel the same way, I get contractions when I'm lying/sitting down but they go away when I stand up. It makes sleeping really difficult na, I don't think I've slept well for the past week already  I really feel the baby down low and even when she moves her head! Once in awhile I'll have a jabbing/sharp pain down in the v area and I feel A LOT of pressure. I keep thinking that it's my water bag about to break but so far nothing.

On another note, we received news that one of hubby's friends experienced a miscarriage, they were about 5/6 months already and were supposed to find out the gender sometime this week. Hubby heard about it thru a friend lang and we don't know how to approach them...syempre we're on the verge of having a baby ourselves. So sad

^OMG that's so sad sis. Ano daw ang cause?  Siguro kung ako, medyo di ko din alam papano magrereact...

Kanina din may kasabay ako na nagpacheck up. Nagmiscarriage din yung girl at 3 months. Tapos kasama niya yung partner niya, na sobrang galit. as in, he was really mad at everything--the girl, the nurses, napikon pa siya na nauna ako tinawag (eh samantalang ako ang pinaka-unang person dun). so i guess, bitter din talaga siya.

Hubby as well, wants a February 29 baby! No joke ito, gusto niya talaga. pero kamusta naman, once very four years lang ang totoong birthday ni baby? hehe

Ay, pumunta pala ako sa barangay health center namin haha. Libre ang tetanus toxoid, kaya babalik ako sa thursday. 30 lang daw yung free, so kelangan, tipong 6am palang andun na ako hahahaha Tapos, parang masama pa loob nila nung nalaman nila na private hospital naman pala ako manganganak, at ang nagrefer sa akin eh private doctor. Parang pina-feel nila sa akin na hindi ako dapat nandoon.

Eh nalaman ko na libre pala ang immunizations ng baby dun. Lagot sila sa akin, dun talaga ako papa-immunize para tipid. Bahala sila mapikon sila sa akin. Siguro dahil naka porma ako pumunta kanina, at ang bag ko ay Coach. hahahahahaha

We don't know the cause, haven't spoken to them and the person who told us didn't have the details either. We don't know whether we should approach them or not nga e, I mean what do we say? Especially since we heard the news thru someone else pa. So sad talaga.....

Did the couple just find out about the miscarriage or was it a routine checkup? I can only imagine what they're going thru 

Hahahaha why do our hubbies want a Feb 29 baby?? I'd feel sad that we wouldn't be able to celebrate on her true birthday every year, though you still have a choice naman to celebrate on Feb 28 or Mar 1 it's still not the same!!!

Is the tetanus shot required? My OB never mentioned it nor asked me to get the shot.... is it in case of a CS?

sis khriseeee, my OB did not say naman that it's required. But maybe because I am CDO-based, and you know naman the situation here kaya naniniguro siya. She said pa nga, I also have the option to get Hepa shots, but then, I am scared of needles so goodluck sa akin talaga, kaya wag nalang muna. paisa-isa lang hehe

I hate needles rin - what I'm worried most about labor is the dextrose needle - not the actual giving birth itself

^ haha! parehas tayo.. asar na asar ako sa dextrose ko nun kasi feeling ko nakakadagdag sakit sa labor pains lol.

kaya nung nasa recovery room ako, sabi ko sa nurses kung pwede naman tanggalin na e tanggalin na nila.

Sis Blouie 11.. Transfer kami sa pcmc.. laki ng binayaran ko sa st lukes in 10days nasa P160k ang binayaran namin including pf ng pedia (P30k).. Almost same scenario kami duon sa kakilala mo.. Bumibili
ako ng bm sa milk bank nila.. Natuwa naman ako somehow kaseh sabi ng pedia ni bibi, i shift na namin sa prenun since pasteurized milk din naman ang sa milk bank, matured milk na rin daw iyon at hindi talaga pang preterm. Medyo na relief ako kaseh sobrang nai-stress naman ako this past few days sa pag produce ng milk ni bibi. Okay din sa pcmc kaseh very affordable ang fee nila bukod sa they have friendly & accomodating nurse staff and good doctors. Para ngang homey ang dating ng environment duon even sa NICU mas malaki at malinis. Thank GOD, kaseh today magsisimula na siya ng vitamins - multivitamins drops, heraclene & spirolina. Today is her 16th day in incubator, pinapalaki na lang siya and nagkakalaman na siya. Mabait talaga si Lord. Dami rin nag pray sa little angel ko ;->

OMG so happy lang ako today. First, all okay sa doctor's visit. Tapos, yung surprise lond distance baby shower ng friends ko for me.

And now, the photographer just posted our maternity photoshoot at sobrang natuwa ako. haaaay. good mood, good vibes. Thank you Lord

Dami natin na waiting na lang.Parang biglang sobrang nakakainip, to think na 9 months na tayo buntis. Now na a few days na lang hintay natin, nakakainip.  Feeling ko la pa progress from 2 cm although I passed my mucus plug the other night.

or sinabi ng pedia mo gumamit ng cetaphil?

sis izabelle prescribed ng pedia ang cetaphil/dove white/oilatum soap kay baby, nagkaroon kasi sya ng allergy. we thought it's ordinary rashes.

hello preggo mommies!

nanganak na ako last february 9, 2012 @ 35 weeks and 4 days. premmie baby again kasi yung panganay ko premature din @ 35 weeks and 4 days. magkapareho talaga.

@ 6:30 am napansin ko na parang may discharge ako. nung mag cr ako ayun ang dami nang blood na lumabas at may bilog-bilog pa.

@ 9:00 am nasa hospital na ako. 2 cm na nung ie ako nung resident physician. @10:00 am naramdaman ko na nag leak na yung water bag ko. nakaramdam din ako ng pain pero kering keri pa.

@ 12:00 noon dinala na ako sa labor room. 3 cm pa lang. kaya ko pa ang sakit.

@ 1:00 pm tinurokan na ako ng buscopan pero ang hina talaga ng progress 3 cm pa din.

@ 4:00 pm another buscopan pero 5 cm at dun ko na naramdaman na talaga yung pain as in super na pain talaga.

@ 6:00 pm 5 cm pa din.

@ 7:00 pm 7 cm. super na ang pain at talagang di ko na kaya. sa panganay ko kinaya ko pero eto hinding hindi na talaga. nagpaparinig na ako sa ob gyne ko na parang gusto ko na i-cs. pero sabi nya kaya ko daw i normal delivery kasi maliit si baby. nung ie nga pala ako nung resident physician bigla na lang may dugong na bilog bilog sumama lumabas (blood clot) kaya tinawag nya na si ob sa kabilang room kasi nag alala na sya. hindi na sinabi sa akin ni doc na nagpareserve na sya ng dugo sa blood bank kasi baka kakailanganin ko masalinan ng dugo. inform nya lang ako na kailangan ko i-oxygen kasi yung water bag ko pumutok nung umaga at kokonti na lang at baka ma stress si baby.


 sinabi nga pala ni ob gyne na cephalic yung position ni baby kaya lang yung ulo nya hindi nasa saktong position sa opening ko kaya nahirapan makalabas si baby. kaya dislodge nya hanggang pumuwesto.

@ 8:00 dinala na ako sa delivery room. naka tatlong push din ako at saka lumabas si baby. nakaraos din finally. pero grabe talaga ang pain na naramdaman at nasabi ko na this will be my last na talaga considering din sa age ko baka mahirapan na ako mabuntis ulit. thankful lang ako to the almighty God dahil despite sa mga complications during my pregnancy until manganak ako safe pa din kami ng baby ko.

now di ko pa nakasama si baby kasi naiwan pa sya sa nursery for a series of test.

just came back from OB visit. 2 cm na ako. binigyan na rin nya ako nung eveprim. dapat manganak na ako hanggang feb 26. pag hindi, babalik ako sa kanya ng feb 27. joske! nahihirapan na ako maglakad!

^buti 2cm ka na din. Ako feeling ko 2cm pa din. La nman din kc ako bago na-feel. Parang normal lang. Tapos baka di pa tlg sya ganun kababa kc ok pa nman ako sa paglalakad. Di naman ako hirap. Haayyy..baka matagalan pa.

^ako nahirapan na ako kanina. kala ko nga hindi na ako makakauwi kasi hirap na hirap talaga ako kasi sobrang sumisiksik na sa baba si baby.

My OB didn't perform an IE on me yesterday as the baby looks high parin. The dysmenorrea type pains have been getting stronger. I just got back from a 2 hour walk, sana it will get things started already. I want to give birth by the weekend!!

^oo nga!! i really do hope i give birth soon na!! so excited. the nurses from the nurse's station were also excited. nagtour kasi ako kanina ng mga rooms.  may nagustuhan na akong private room. buti they are accepting reservation, but can only hold that reservation for 24 hours. after my checkup, i informed them na 2cm na ako.

so i need to walk and walk and walk (even dance! if that would help!).
