^sis, i first saw signs of lactation around 28 weeks. Asked my mommy friends, according to what I described, they told me na what I saw was colostrum...thick siya na medyo off-white kasi. Pero konti lang, i see it when I press my breast. It doesn't come out automatically..

My OB doesn't measure fundic height either, she uses her palms to measure baby's size. She said she's usually within +/- 250 grams. Last check she estimated baby to be 2.7kilos na. I'm worried about baby getting too big so I've stopped eating rice and pasta. I only eat dark whole grain breads and limit to 2 meals a day with fruits/yoghurt/low fat milk as snacks.

hello mga sis!

baby is now 5-6 lbs @ 33 weeks according sa measurement ni OB! malaki na ata si baby, pero hindi naman sinabi ni OB na CS ako. checkup ko yesterday and sa next checkup ko IEs na ko at bibigyan na din ako ng admitting slip.

yung glucose test ko was around 6 months. hindi din ako nagfasting nun. basta i should finish the bottle in 5 minutes then stay lang ako sa lobby ng lab for an hour, no walking nor eating daw para hindi ko magamit yung sugar para accurate yung result. buti nalang kasama ko si hubby nun and my tv na mapaglilibangan.

breastmilk: im not sure kung milk nga yung napupuna ko minsan sa nips ko. medyo basa yung tip ng nips ko minsan eh, pero hindi naman yung tumutulo. sana nga ma-stimulate yung breast ko para madali makpagfeed agad pag labas ni baby.

and yes! the 3d pics mga sis! super natutuwa din akong tignan pics ni baby. hulmang hulma na kase mukha niya. hehe

wala ako pwede ma-share na premature-baby story eh, pero i know kayang kaya yan ng baby mo. malaki ang chance of survival and improvement ng mga babies 30weeks plus. konting tiis lang sis, makakasama niyo narin si baby. all is well

going 38 weeks kami via LMP and 39 weeks via first TVS. checkup namin mamaya (di natuloy nung friday) kaya malalaman kung ano na ang status namin ni baby kate. parang gusto ko na rin manganak, excited na ko makita ang little princess ko kahit alam kong mahirap, in the end eh magiging worth it

evokezion - prayers for you and baby. i have witnessed a lot of premature stories (both successful and not) pero just pray that your baby is a survivor, have deep faith in GOD and make your baby feel your love and presence. I know a couple na since di pa naglalactate yung mom nung time na lumabas prematurely si baby eh naghanap talaga ng milk donors for the baby and twice a day nya dinadala sa NICU for the baby. admission to HRPU din ako if ever kahit normal na yung mga tests ko because of the risks that i have pre-pregnancy. mas mabuti na rin yung monitored. i hope ok si baby sa lilipatan / nilipatan nyang hospital if ever...

sis evokezion - prayer works! for now, magpalakas ka muna.. magpagaling para pag uwi ni baby madami na syang milk na makukuha from you.

sa mga mommies na may plan mag BF... linisin nyo mabuti yung nipples .... hot compress and make sure na yung mga butas na malilit eh matanggalan nyo ng mga deposits, para di makuha yun ni baby.

btw, tulya and malunggay soup helped me alot. pati na rin yung mga gulay na niluto sa sabaw ng buko.
dun ako nagkagatas eh, right now nalalaman kong gutom na si baby pag basa na yung blouse ko ng milk. happy BF'ing mga mommies

^I just noticed yesterday the little deposits..parang hardened skin or milk? I was wondering what they were too and was also thinking I'd need to continuously clean them out before baby latches on. What is it???

dead skin cells ata yun sis... not sure pero dumi yun. not to be taken in ni baby. use cotton buds to remove them.

Hayyynaku mga sisters, paasa naman tong weather na to. Hapon ang schedule namin, tapos nung mga bandang lunchtime, eh pumangit ang weather kaya goodbye na sa photoshoot, reschedule na naman.

Mountaineers kasi kami ni hubby, kaya mountaineering ang theme ng maternity photoshoot hehe. Cool din si photographer, ayaw din niya ng nasa loob ng studio, so yehey. Weather nalang talaga ang problem. haaaay

galing kaming checkup, i lost 2 pounds pero closed pa rin daw cervix ko, -3 pa si baby. kaya lakad lakad pa daw. eh nagtimezone na nga ako nung weekend  ayaw maki-valentine's day ni baby kate hehe! sana di sya lumaki masyado at baka mahirapan ako ilabas sya. gusto ko na talaga manganak pero wala talaga kong signs of labor, parang naghahallucinate lang ata ako hehe!

kamusta ang mga batchmates ko... kuliglig, nagparamdam na ba si lucas?! sis den.nica, ikaw?!

been having on and off contractions since 4AM today. Started off mild lang and they're slightly more uncomfortable now but they're not coming in a pattern so I don't think it's true labor yet?

Sis kaice until due mo yata shy pa din si baby kate! i sawa video of a preggy mom of twins 40 weeks and 4 days over due hala nagsasayaw ng hiphop dance! Haha after 2 days yata she gave birth na..

Sis katiztic dito sa manila yesterday pa naguulan... Tulog lang tuloy ako lagi. Are you having a baby boy ba? Di ko na kasi nakikita yung list natin e.

Sis evokezion prayers and lots of it lang talaga kasi kahit lahat na ng medical intervention gawin natin only si God ang mahihingian natin ng divine intervention.. Saang hospital mo nilipat si baby mo? Sis we had a patient dati premature talaga cya and more than a month cya sa nicu although mga 2 weeks lang cya naka incubator require ng pedia nya na mag gain ng weight at tumaba si baby. We feed her pure bm through ngt tpos ang swero nya umbicut. She thrive naman dami rin binibigay na vitamins kasama ng bm nya including virgin coconut oil and heraclene. Her mom visits her twice a day but since hindi na nakakaproduce ng bm si mother bumibili nlng cya ng bm sa pcmc or nanghihingi sa iba. Never naman si baby naubusan ng milk. Be polite din sa mga nurses na nagaalaga ky baby kasi it affects din sa pagaalaga nila sa baby mo if nagsusungit or nagtataray ka. And ang pedia nya rwally prays sinasama p kami pinagppray over namin si baby. And pag nagvisit ka hold your babys hands and talk to your baby be strong for her.. Wag ka iiyak. Kaya mo yan sis! That patient of ours was discharged din naman.

Sis grace pano yung nilotong gulay sa sabaw ng buko? Good for you ebf kb? Pangarap ko din yan... Winiwish ko talaga madami ako bm.

Im having contraction din pero hindi ko masabi if its really a contraction or dahil gumagawlaw lang si baby. Pagnaninigas b tummy contraction na yun? I have to ask ob on our next prenatal visit. Baka din ko din uminom ng gamot for this... Wag naman sana.

thanks sis blouie..  confused din ako with contraction and paggalaw ni baby, super active kasi nito. sa doppler nga kanina ang bilis ng heartbeat.. ayaw pa lang mag hello world   pati si dad nya eh naiinip na moreo n lower part pa lang yung contraction sa kin, di pa buong tummy

musta mga sis. Checkup ko kanina and first time mag IE. 36 weeks and 1 day pa lang kami ni baby but my ob found out na open na daw, 1-2cm. nagulat kami lahat. So within 2 weeks daw manganganak na ako, hindi na daw aabot ng March. Ayaw ni hubby ng feb e, gusto niya March. kaso OB na nagsabi na hindi na talaga aabot. Ginawan na din ako ng certificate ng ob ko na mag rest na from work, normally hindi naman daw niya sana iadvice yun kung office work lang ako, kaso nga field work ako e. baka kung saan saan pa daw ako abutan or madapa pa or something. And additional hassle pa is uuwi nga partner ko for 5 days sa Aklan for some business meetings, kaya sabi sa bahay na lang muna ako at wag magtagtag hanggat wala sila. But if may mangyari, tawag na sa Dra.

Pinagpprepare na kami ng hospital bag. She suggested na bumili ng 3 maliliit na bote ng baby, tapos 3 sets ng damit. tapos magdala daw ng breastpump kahit manual lang daw, di naman need na electric. Sis suggest naman kayo ng ok na manual na breastpump. Wala sa list ko ng mga bibilhin ko yun e, bigla namang nirequire.

Bukas prepare ko na yung mga papers ko, file ng leave, kunin philhealth.yung SSS ko nagkaproblem pa kasi dpa pala nacocompute ng finance namin.pero idedeposit na lang daw next week sa payslip ko.

Hay naku, nangangati akong bumili ng cloth diapers today. kasi sobrang busy sa work, at pag busy ako eh gusto kong magshopping!

I've never felt the hardening of my tummy thru the entire pregnancy except today. I don't know what a contraction feels like but I'm guessing this is it...it started off as a dysmenorrea type of pain down in my lower abdomen that moved upwards along the side of my belly. The top of my tummy naman became hard, as in when I touched it was hard as a rock! It didn't hurt naman, just uncomfortable.

khrisee - i think pag nagcontraction, masakit na talaga buong tummy hanggang sa may balakang part na.

aiz - kaingit ka!! at 36 weeks 5 days, closed pa cervix ko non. sana sa wed eh pwede na kasi it's really becoming uncomfortable. kanina lang, tumigas ang tyan ko with an interval of 15 minutes for about 1 hour. so i guess, hindi pa.
