Hi to all.. May marerecommend ba kayo na OB na mabait magaling? Ayoko rin sana ng OB na kahit pede normal delivery eh gagawin kang CS. Mejo nadisappoint ako sa OB ko sa Asian. Then andami nya pinapa inject sakin in a week lang.

mga sis tanong lang, yun bang mga OB nyo ba sa Asian, nagccharge ng fee pag nagrequest ka ng medical certificate?

Just want to vouch that we had very good experiences giving birth (both times) at Asian Hospital. Even my family members (there were another hospitalizations in the family) are very satisfied with their services. It may be on the pricey side, but again based on our experiences, the people there take care of even the "little things" you don't want to be bothered with when you're going through whatever it is you're going through.

^that's why we didn't believe in wasting money for tv ads unlike other hospitals everywhere haha! Give excellent client service and they will speak be the one to speak for you. 

as for holiday rates, fixed prices naman sisses kung ano ang info from admission dept. When they inform of price increase yun lang but they don't charge holiday fees or have their services' fees subject to change. baka yung mga OB niyo lang nagsasabi niyan kasi they have to work on a holiday so sila ang babayaran niyo ng holiday fee pero hindi ang hospital kasi it is open to serve 24/7 unlike doctors.

i'm planning to give birth here again for my 3rd. we're expecting to have her March-April next year.

Last time that I had CS operation (July 2012) umabot ng 157K yung bill namin. i hope no major increases by next year.

Btw, They have a Simply Maternal pre-natal seminar this month. Even if i'm not a first time mom, i still plan to attend.

Ang bill mo talaga sa asian,dedepende sa ob mo.hanap ka ng conscious sa bill na babayaran ng pasyente.halimbawa pag nagllabor ka na,sisiguruhin na within 2hrs nabigyan ka ng admission order para room rate babayaran mo,di yung de metro sa genesis (800 ba per 15 mins?).plus magkano pf nya at ng ibang kateam nyang doctors.kung tutuusin,yung sa hospital bills pag nsd ka then private room and no complication, 40-50k papalo.yung mga nagbabayad ng 150k-200k for nsd dahil na sa mga pf yun at charges sa genesis siguro.so sa mga sis na medyo nagaalangan sa bill,iopen nyo topic sa ob nyo.nung buntis ako e kada checkup lagi namin topic yan.hahaha

when i gave birth in 2010 at asian, separate bill yung ob / pedia/ anes, kaya nakatawad pa kami sa ob.ngayon ba kasama na sa hospital bill kapag nanganak sa asian? kasi yung na-d&c ako last june2014 nakasama na sa bill ob fee. kaya di kami nakatawad sa ob.

@Diane, oo sis e. kasi daw maliit lang bigay ng HMO sa kanila. yun mga kakilala ko din na sya yun OB the previous years e wala naman ni-cash out. nagulat nga sila nun nalaman na meron na ngayon. i guess nadala na si doc. hehe. though binigyan naman nya ko ng option na maghanap ng ibang OB in case ayaw ko mag cash out sa kanya.

btw sis, ikaw din ba naghanap ng pedia mo at anes? kasi syempre dapat HMO-accredited din makukuha natin di ba? hopefully wala na extra cash out sa mga ito.

^^dra virginia valenzuela.i think nung nanganak  ako nung march, pwede pa na separate pero nirequest ko na pagsamahin na lang.

in my case, 2012 and 2013, magkaiba yung anes - maybe kung sinong duty that time but same pedia

Hi sis evilwoman how much naging bill mo sa asian nung nanganak ka and how much pf ng OB mo? From laguna area kasi ako and when I checked sa calamba medical center and calamba doctors hospital parang aabutin din daw ng 60K if NSD and mga 100k pag CS. Iniisip ko lang if gagastos na din ako ng ganun amount better na if sa asian kung kaya naman pala makatipid depende sa OB and room

@Diane. Hi! Who was your OB when you gave birth at Asian? What HMO were you using? Will be using HMO din. I'm quite curious how it works with HMO. Thanks in advance sis.

@Adam1025 - 87k ang bill ko.nsd sa private room.btw,di daw socialized ang billing doon.bale kahit ano klase room mo,same ang rate for gamot, lab tests, etc.ewan ko lang sa pf ng doctor. Taga laguna din ako kaso wala ako kilala na ob doon.medyo takot din ako kasi almost 99% ng relatives ko na nanganak sa hospital sa calamba e cs ang ending.tiwala na kasi ako na ipipilit ng ob ko na inormal delivery ako kaya go na ko sa Asian. True enough, kahit di bumaba tyan ko at 10cm (cord coil pala baby) e nagawa pa din ng team nya na nsd ako. I know madami dito na pag cord coil na ccs na pero di ako aware kung ano mga condition ang sinusunod ng mga ob basta sa case ko, safe nailabas ang bata via nsd.

^sis thanks sa reply, all in na ba yung naging bill mo na yun? Kumusta naman ang secretary ng OB mo? I'm planning to call Dra. Valenzuela's clinic sa asian kasi, ok lang kaya mag-inquire ako over the phone about sa billing estimation parang mag-canvass lang muna hehe worry ko lang baka sungitan ako. I'm almost 33weeks by the way and til now wala pa ako final na hospital/OB.

di ba asian hospital provides diapers for the newborn? pag maubos ba you can ask for additional supply?

yes, they provide nappies for nb. usually they replenish naman when it's ubos na. or if you wnat you can bring extra and give it to them.

alam ko now mandatory room-in na si Baby unless need ng intensive care sa huggery e. i wonder if mas nakakamura dahil wala ng huggery fee/nurse's fee? but they monitor and help naman daw when you need to breastfeed or time to change nappies or clean the baby.
