^nakwento kita kay dra. casanova sis, regarding yung first birth mo at asian. elibs nga daw sya sa pain threshold mo. i also intend to give birth at asian between lastweek of nov to first week of december. hope to do lamaze (sana!). how much inabot mo for your second baby sis? tia.

^81k for 2012, 95 2013 - just last july.

i have easy breezy labor. as in mabilis kaya natutuwa si Dra. on my 2nd,i went to her for checkup, at around 3;30pm sabi nya hinde pa, when i went home, i felt yung pain so i texted her around 730, pagdating ko sa Asian, 6cm na, after an hour, 10cm na:)

@Diane - yearly daw ang increase kaya siguro tumaas ang bill mo kahit same ob and pedia.

Question lang ha,ibig bang sabihin,mas matagal ka maglabor,mas mataas ang bill mo?

^maybe if naglabor ka sa room na preferred mo.

in my case last 2012, after giving birth, 2 hours ka pa need magstay sa birthing room (Genesis)
-recovery SOP daw nila but then, wala pa avail rooms as in Sat morning ako dapat matatransfer sa room
pero since wala available, nag stay ako until afternoon sa birthing room but di ako na-charged kasi di ko naman
kasalanang wala pang room and my OB confirmed it with Genesis admins.

^^May nabasa ako dati na hourly daw ang charge sa Genesis, so if that's true, yes. Except na lang siguro sa mga instances like Diane's na fault ng hospital yung delay sa pagtransfer sa room.

We've decided on giving birth at Asian Hospital. Gusto ko kasi kasama ko yung asawa ko throughout the whole process. I'm really hoping I'll have NSD.

^ Its true but if may room ka na kahit nasa genesis ka pa room rate mo padin machacharge. i was in genesis 2 days before i gave birth. In and out din ako sa genesis my whole pregnancy ilang beses ako na admit. They will tell you naman get a room na agad para d ka macharge.

@Diane - if that is the case,medyo napaurong naman ako mag Asian.medyo matagal kasi ako naglabor sa 1st ko pero update daw ako ni ob sa january.wala naman ako special preference pag nanganak like maglamaze room,etc.nsd with epidural lang.

^sana nga ganun ang billing.otherwise,ayoko na.

^^fair naman pala kung ganun. good to know they'll charge the room rate if meron nang room, instead of the genesis rate in case na magtagal sa genesis.

i just gave birth 6 days ago in asian. yes, per hour ang bill sa genesis. eto nakalagay sa bill ko:

operating room - Genesis per 15min    865/15min x 8 = 6920

Nakausap ko na ang ob ko regarding genesis charging rates.pag daw napaaaga ang pasok sa genesis (delivery room) then labor ka pa ng matagal and lumagpas ka ng 2hrs,dun na daw nageexttra charging.so sila daw sinisiguro nila na lalabas na bago ipasok sa delivery room.may instances daw na nadadatnan nila pasyente na nasa delivery room agad,sinisita daw nila mga tao doon pero usual response is ipinasok na dahil wala na space sa triage (labor area).pag ganun case daw,wala extra charge.wag daw ako matakot,sya daw bahala sa akin.lols.

I just want to share my experience with Asian Hospital

-Kasama ko si hubby all the time sa loob ng genesis except  nung pinasok  na ako sa or for cs. Pero pinapasok pa rin sya sa nung kinuha na si baby sa loob ng tummy ko. Napanood rin nya kung paano linisin si baby and he was even ask if gusto nya na sya ang magputol ng cord. Mga 12 hrs din kami nasa Genesis from labor up to recovery.
-all the while Akala namin normal delivery ako kaso nauwi rin sa emergency cs. Ang laki pala ni baby hahahaha...naging madaya yung laki ng tyan ko. . Worried kami nun baka magshoot up bill namin kasi ma ccs ako..pero hindi ko na talaga kaya  mag push. hehe.. kaya hayun.. pumayag na rin si ob na ma cs ako.
-Pagkatapos maglatch sa akin si baby. Dinala na sya sa nursery room.

- After 4 hrs sa recovery room,nilipat na ako sa kwarto. The room that we get was Junior Executive. And then after almost 8 hrs. Pinasok na rin si baby sa room together nung mga ginamit ni baby sa huggery.

-Bale we stayed 3 days and 2 nights. The staff and nurses are all nice. Sila palage nagchange ng diaper ni baby..kasi hindi ko pa kaya tumayo agad. Yung food ok naman. si hubby ko halos kumain lahat hehe...Anytime pwede pala magpadeliver ng food like jobee. pero hanggang lobby lang sila..

-they gave complimentary hospital bag with lots of freebies mga product samples and meron free photoshoot si baby (akala namin kasama kami sa photoshoot, hindi pala . heheeh) then may free album

- our total bill was 99k (philhealth 19k already deducted) and then we cash out 9k thanks sa hmo sa ni hubby. . .normal delivery na nauwi sa emergency cs.. thank God.. healthy kami ni baby.. .

Hi sis deni , deducted na ba yung philhealth/other deductions dun sa bill nyo na 95k?

^sis can you still recall how much yung philhealth deduction mo?separate bill din ba yung mga pf or kasama na mismong hospital bill?isip ko kasi if may bearing yun sa philhealth deduction.kakaawa kasi deduction nung nanganak ako dati.
