hello mommies na sisses.

I'd like to ask if okay po ba gumamit ng generic diapers? I'm a new mother and of course, like ko makatipid, at the same time I don't want to compromise the quality.

Sinabihan lang ako ng pinsan ko and mg best friend regarding generic diapers. And before ako gumamit nito, of course, gusto ko malaman [textspeak!] insights nio about this. Thanks for the replies!

^ hi lianne, ok lang naman ang generic diaper, pili ka lang ng magandang quality.  from my experience, ang pinaka ok is Fitti Aloe and Bear 123. And better if you buy the sealed packs, wag naman tingi tingi from the store baka kase naalikabukan na.  Big savings kase talaga sya.

for our 1 month old, ive tried huggies, eq dry, prokids and pampers. yung huggies newborn maganda fit first 3 wks pero now maliit na, buti naubos na sya. in terms of absobency and pagka stay dry, type ko si prokids, medyo malaki nga malapad masyado ang pad as other sises previously mentioned pero maganda sya. pero value for money, bet ko eq dry kasi mura lang and for the newborn stage palit ka din naman ng palit so ok na sya.

ngayon 1 month na si baby ubusin ko nalang stock ko ng eq dry tapos try ko na mag cloth diaper

Been using 2 brands of nappies these past few weeks. I like Goo.N and the "best ever" Drypers. The drypers, its not tape anymore, its magic tape narin and the fit is similar to Huggies Snug and Dry.

tried  Sweet Baby Supreme comfort yesterday kay baby dahil sa reviews ng mga mommies dito.Ok naman sya. Clothlike din at magic tape.

Tried EQ dry during the first 2 weeks ni baby kaso nagka-rashes sya. Now we switched to Prokids. Sana mahiyang sya.

Naglalagay ba kayo ng cream everytime na pinapalitan ng diaper si baby?

^yes, actually mom Ko gumagawa nun. I have the diaper rash cream and the vitamin barrier cream from mustela. Kapag nawala na yun rashes, we apply the vitamin barrier cream na Lang for prevention. So far 2-3 times Lang nagka-rashes si baby.

^^ kami no. we wash with warm water every nappy change and thoroughly dry before we put on the diaper. once pa lang nagka-rashes ang daughter ko, due to excesive pooping when she had amoebiasis when she was 7 months old. she's 2 years old now and has never had rashes apart from that time.

^&^^ thanks.. Sa panganay ko kasi every time we change the diaper naglalagay din ako ng cream, sa bunso ko, since sinisipag ako wash ko lagi ng warm water then dry at diaper na, kaso i noticed sa singit niya di ko alam kung nagbabalat lang ba, di naman ganon ka red so di ko sure if rash ba yun.

Omg! There's no medium Goo.N anymore in cash and carry! I think pag nagkaron ng stock, the price will be regular na. Pls let me know where can I get medium size Goo.N, I need to get siguro mga 3 large bags pa of that. Haaay!

may rashes ang 2day old baby ko! sa Huggies newborn ata. kasi yung galing sa hospital na Drypers, di naman namula.

masikip rin newborn ng Huggies for my 7.9lb baby! bukas try nalang size small na pampers or mamy poko

^from my experience, yes, huggies neworn were tiny. Newborn sizes of mamy poko and prokids aren't as small

^ yup prokids arent that small. smaller ng konti ang EQ Dry. I am using the latter more kahit mabilis mapuno kasi mas madalas ang change, mas iwas rashes.
