Hi,. Can someone help me with my result on LAT. Hindi ko kasi maintindihan yung result. Sa Reproductive Immunology Center ako nag pa test.

I looked at your results.

I am 6 months pregnant and was supposed to undergo LIT last Nov 2012 but my husband and I decided not to. Informed decision since we were carefully observing the baby's growth and development the whole time.

During my last check up (1st week of Feb 2013), my immuno read my doppler studies results (to check the flow of blood from placenta to the baby and its uterine environment) and he said everything's looking good and that the heparin (I am on heparin since Nov 2012 at .35cc dosage per day) is doing what it's supposed to do (my blood is on the thick side daw kasi). 

Anyway he mentioned that the normal range in the PID1 applies to a normal adult, and for NK cells for pregnant women, it should be 12 daw, and it should go down as the pregnancy progresses.

What was your immuno's reading of your PID1 results? I had mine done last Oct. 31 at SLMC and parehong-pareho tayo ng lay-out and presentation.  My immuno ordered another set of tests (including PID1 again) for my next check up.  I'll have it done at SLMC again, and goodbye P10,495.80 ulit (for PTT, PT/NR, DRVVT, L/W clotting and PID1)!

^ Hi sis, sorry wala pa akong immunologist eh. Si OB lang ang nag pa test sa akin ng LAT, KCT, APTT and DRVVT. My OB is Dra. Sua Lao. So malamang baka kay Dr. Ed Lim ako if ever kailangan ko ng immunologist. I had 2 miscarriages na kasi. so suspect ni OB baka I have APAS. Sa result ko ng KCT, APTT and DRVVT lahat lampas sa control range. pero hindi naman super taas. I guess I have APAs nga. Sana lang talaga I don't have to undergo LIT.

My immuno is Dr. Abong. First ko si Dr. O. I think na mention ko na sya before. I decided not to pursue the treatment with him because he is way too expensive for me.

Dr. Abong told me that my NK cells are within normal limits borderline daw is 12-18. Eh mine is 12.24 lang naman.  Have you tried having the tests done at MEL? Kasi SLGC would outsource their tests naman at MEL lalo pag hindi na nila kaya ang load.

Have you tried having the tests done at MEL?

Sis yung sa MEL naman ang PID1 sa Global din nila pinapadala. Yung APAS testing nila costs 5.5k-dba yung PTT and DRVVT panels yan ng APAS? They email me the results in a day or two. I'll look for my receipts dun sa last na screening ko.

you are 6mos preggy... congrats! anong sabi ng immuno mo about sa not taking the LIT?
negative tcross match din kasi ako... sa asian din yung immuno ko...
then, ok ako sa APAS, Panel1, ANA. sa Tcrossmatch lang ako problem ko. need ko daw magLIT. i had 2 MC na last year, 1 is blighted ovum... then 2nd is totally mc... mahal ang LIT, so im afraid baka matagalan pa kami magtry ulit ng husband ko

^masakit ba sobra LIT? ilang tusok ba yun per session?

Pag elevated yung natural killer cells ano ang treatment? LIT din ba or Ivig?

sis makirot un pagtusok ng needle pag lit pero tolerable.nag bite lang ako sa panyo sabay pikit while it is being injected sa skin.parang kinukurot ng pino. per session sakin is 6 to 8 na tusok. lit and ivig both could address nk cells. pero pag pregnant na daw,ivig is recommended lalo na pag di nakapag lit before the 8th week of pregnancy and if super active ang nk cells.

yes makirot nga and mahapdi habang ini-inject. so far wala pa young kati factor.

Mga sis, gaano kabilis ang effect ng LIT sa katawan natin? I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant na and Dra.Aleta said na mag LIT session kami for 4 consecutive weeks. Hindi nya na sinuggest ang IVIG since 1 month lang daw effect nun at sobrang expensive daw. Also, she said since 4 consecutive naman ang LIT namin okay na un. Worry ko lang baka matagal pa effect sa body ng LIT.

Hi sis frapuccino as I understand LIT stays in the body for 6 months but takes longer to effect.  They told me before na it takes a month for your body to fully absorb the lymphocytes. I was also told that LITs frequency should be every 2 weeks to properly absorb it. Hope this helps.

sis sa pagkaalam ko,dapat matapos ang lit session by the 8th week of pregnancy.matagal nga kasi before the body fully utilizes the lit although long term protection cia.pag lampas na dun usually binibigyan muna ivig kasi immediate protection ang kaya ibigay ng ivig,un nga lang it only lasts for a month.so un iba, nag intralipid din, after the first ivig kasi its cheaper than ivig but it takes like two weeks or more for it to take effective

I apologize for the late reply. 

My immuno told me that in my case, going through LIT was our judgment call.  We just took a risk since baby was doing well at that time and for the rest of my pregnancy.  Sabi naman ni immuno by 16th week, my option would be intralipid pr IVIG.

I had difficulty during the last month of my pregnancy - ang bagal lumaki ni baby, and I was given Moriamin again, in addition to Innohep, aspirin, etc.  My OB was telling me she's worried about baby's growth, but based on my doppler baby is okay pa rin naman, and the low growth rate is actually expected by my immuno for patients with immune issues.

By God's grace, I gave birth last May 14, scheduled CS with baby at 37 weeks and 2 days.  Before 37 weeks my OB was insisting on an early CS sched because mabagal nga raw lumaki si baby. Baby was only 4lbs and 8oz - super miniature, but she's not premature naman.

Dont worry too much magaling si Dr Aleta...If she doesnt see any problem naman in your pregnancy ok ang LIT as early precaution. It has longer effect than IVIG which only has acute effect for emergency cases..You're in good hands and keep praying :-)

Thank you mga sis for your reply. I had my first LIT last Wednesday. Walang allergic reaction sa akin [textspeak!] LIT. Namula lang for a day pero hindi naman nangati or anything. I don't know if it's a good sign.

So far okay naman development ni baby kaya di na rin kami nagworry. The baby measuring 9 weeks and 1 day kanina. Ahead ng 2 days ang AOG if icompare sa LMP.

hi sisses!  i just got my LAT results and nakalagay dun:

HLA1 reaction code 1/PRA 8.5%
HLA2 reaction code 1/PRA 9.7%

sabi ni dr. abong hindi daw ako apas positive coz within normal range naman yung apas panel ko (sct, drvvt, aptt, etc.).  normal din NK cells ko.  with the result above, does it mean i belong to category I?  i'm also ANA positive so nasa category III din ako.  i just want to know the steps to be taken.  been reading here a lot pero ngayon lang ako nagpost.  btw, i had two MC's in one year (2011).  i'm so scared.  please enlighten me naman.  sa april 14 pa ko makakabalik kay doc coz holy week na eh.  thank you so much!

Hi, just want to ask ano na condition mo now.. and ano mga naging treatment mo.. we have the same condition kasi, negative APAS but positive ANA. NK cells ko are within normal range, but CD 19 and CD 20 are above normal.

Im seeing Dra. Abong.  just had may LAT and Reaction code ko is HLA1 - 1/ HLA II - 2.

tomorrow ako babalik kay Dra. Abong.

I had 2 DnC last yr, january 2012 for blighted ovum and May 2012 10wks baby with no heart beat.
Fortunately i already have a 7 yr old son.. I dont know what happened kasi I went through the pregnancy of my son with no hassle, same din naman ang husband then and now..
