hi sis jhoanne, maganda yung question mo. gusto ko din magpare-test ng NKC lang to check kung kumusta na sya at ang activity nya after ilang LIT. meron kayang ganung test lang?

anyways po, ask ko lang din how much ang ANA test sa St. Lukes?

ang alam ko sis meron test na NK lang dito ko din nabasa sa GT ang mahal kasi kapag Panel 1 ang itetest tapos NK lang naman ang titignan di ba.

Hi sisses! Hope everyone's doing well may question Lang po ako..I consulted 2 repro immuno regarding my case..yung isa sabi niya pinakyaw ko raw lahat ng category,need to go ivig 50% muna before I get pregnant pero no need for LIT then ivig 100% once I get pregnant and I need to take steroids p raw. Pero pinag take niya ako ng thyrax,yung half Lang ng 25mgs kasi mataas anti thyroid ko.Then the other one said false negative yung Ibang results ko kasi I had them 2 weeks after my ectopic pregnancy. Sabi niya dahil 0% ang lat at negative tissue cross matching ko,need to go at least 4 session of LIT and 25mgs ng thyrax. Uhm..mga sisses..Baka you could enlighten me regarding this..Medyo confusing kasi e..had mc April last year at 7weeks then ectopic this jan. had laparoscopy,left tube na Lang naiwan then nag saline infusion sonohysterogram ako patent nman,ni request kasi ng ob ko to. Thank you mga sisses!! Hope you could help me!!

sis, medyo nalito ako sa sinabi sa yo ng mga pinuntahan mong immuno. kasi if 0 ang LAT mo, LIT is the way to go talaga. actually yung iba iniiwasan ang IVIG kasi it is very costly as compared to LIT. usually, they give IVIG together w/LIT prior to pregnancy if you are undergoing IVF. pero this is only if necessary talaga, like pag mataas talaga ang NK activity mo. or kung pregnant ka na tapos nakita na very strong ang activity ng NK mo & hinde pa nag kick in ang effect ng LIT.
tsaka IVIG is administered depending sa weight mo, so i'm not sure kung anong ibig sabihin ng 50% & 100% ivig.
with regards naman sa kung kelan after a m/c can u have the tests done, i'm sorry i cannot help you with this one, wala din akong idea

Thank you sis zoegirl:) sa fri may appointment ako sa immuno na nagsuggest sa akin ng ivig. I'll ask her about lit muna baka pwedeng yun muna saka na ivig kasi ang mahal e. Kaya kasi niya suggest na mag ivig kasi maganda daw respond ng Nk ko nung nilgayan ng ivig yung blood ko. thank you again sis! Post ako dito ng sabi ng immuno on Friday:) Ingat! And baby dust to all!!

^hello sis!  pareho tayo category I din ako.  pero may category III pa ako.  2nd miscarriage ko november 28, 2011.  nagstart ako with immune tests march 2012.  ayun 0% din LAT ko.  nagstart ako with LIT last april 21.  my immuno recommended 3 sessions.  pa-test ulit ako 1 month after my last session.  i hope maging successful.  sa pagkakaalam ko pag preggy na then 0% LAT nirerecommend ang ivig kasi immediate ang effect niya.  sino immuno mo sis?  si dr. abong sa akin. =)

Hi sis lelaina and sis supermomwannabe:) Kay doc abong ako babalik on fri:) sis lelaina, Hindi Lang ako cat1 according to doc abong,cat1,2,3,4 & 5 daw ako. Pinakyaw ko raw lahat:( doc g. Ob ko,siya nag refer Kay doc abong sa akin. Nung first mc ko,pinuntahan ko dra Martinez ni refer ako Kay dr. Lim,ginawa ko lahat ng tests na pinagawa niya,at tama ang lahat,mahal talaga.Lumipat ako ng ob kasi Hindi niya na detect na ectopic ako,sabi niya biochemical pregnancy daw,si dra g nakakita nung ultrasound niya ako.kasi nman almost one month na bleeding ko hindi tumigil e. although magaling si dra Martinez,2 office mates ko na napabuntis niya:) isang 5yrs at isang 7yrs ttc:) anyways,back to doc abong:) insist ko na Lang na Hindi namin kakayanin ivig Baka pwede sa kanya yung intralipid infusion at Kung pwede lit na lang muna. Since last year until now,3 beses na akong nagpapakuha ng complete apas test,magastos hayyy..natatakot nga ako sa sasabihin ni doc sa akin on fri e..

^naku sis pinakyaw mo nga lahat.  baka kaya ka niya pinapa-ivig para madami na maaddress na cat?  yup try mo na lang itanong.  bait naman yun eh.  magkikita kami sa sat for my LIT.  re cat 4, pano nadetect yun sis if nabubuntis ka naman?  kasi ang alam ko yung mga cat 4 yung di talaga nabubuntis coz may antibodies sa sperm?  sorry off topic.  thanks sis!

Sis lelaina,sabi niya Meron pero Hindi daw mataas yung cat4 ko..may lists of ques na nga ako para sa kanya Tom e hehe:) balitaan ko kayong lahat Tom after my check up..Sana maging ok lahat:) think positive mga sis!! I'm sure magkakababy na rin tayo soon:)

Update ko Lang po kayo..according to dra abong ivig 25mgs daw talaga ako to address all my immunological issues..then inject daw niya sa akin yun 1week before my iui then if pregnant na raw saka na ako mag steroids. 25mgs of ivig cost 80+T then kasama hospitalization mga nasa 100T. Mga 3-4 times daw ako ivig,depende daw sa response ng body ko sa gamot. Balik muna raw ako Kay dra g...

Hi mga sis.....

I had my Ivf procedure last month sa taichung.
Im already pregnant 5 weeks... 40 y/0 ...pcos and small myoma wtih one miscarriage.
I had 6 session of Lit kay dra abong....
from Hla 1  and 2  reaction code 1.... after 6 session naging HLa1 -4 and HLa2 - 1
I was also advise by Dra  to have IVIg bec i have positve ANa and NK cell ...
2 times ako nag Ana test  ...Mel result negative....Asian result Positive.
I was advise to have IVIG before going to Taiwan...told her di ko affort ivig since almost 180k yun.
I told her sa taiwan ko na lang pagagawa.
After the last result of my  Lat... didnt go back kay Dra abong  bec.. baka mag lit ulit ako he he... since naging 4 lang yun score.... We decided to go directly to taiwan kay dr lee and continue with my accupuncture na lang.  Mauubos na yun funds namin for ivf if tinuloy tuloy ko pa mag Lit.. 2 session kasi ako per week...its already 90k plus mga lab test ng immuno that cost me around 30 k din...
Dra abong told me to insist ivig na lang sa taichung kay dr lee.
when i arrived in taichung and had appointment with dr lee. I requested to have an immuno test agad....normally di sya papayag lalo na kung wala history ng ivf failure or miscarrige atleast twice...since I have miscarriage before and I insist na for my peace of mind nag immuno test ako sa kanila.
Sabi namin mag asawa if walang problem ang result tigil na namin yun pag push sa IVIG. Let dr lee decide for us... kasi nga ang gulo ng result ko sa pinas... isang negative and positve na ana test.
Lumabas yun rsult ng immuno test ko kay dr lee... and clear ako no problem ... ok din ana test ko.
Doon kami  mas natuwa since parang mas na feel ko na mas accurate test sa taichung kesa sa manila.
So I dont need ivig na less 75,000 Nt for that... bahala na si Lord.

Luckily naging positive ako sa taichung... ako ang pumalit sa room ni sydneybristow room 1501 sa alices hotel ....lucky room.

Yesterday i had appointment with Dra Guinto  my first appointment with her since may arrival from taichung last may 2.   She discuss my immuno test to me... sabi nya super sensitive ang ANa  test sa asian kaya parati positive ang result.. and my nk cell is ok not to much isssue na daw. so category 1 lang problem ko at naayos ko na sa Lit yun kasi naka 4 na score na ako..... wala naman sya na advise na bumalik ako ulit kay Dra abong for another lit booster.

This is my journey and still long way to go since kelangan pa mag ingat coz wala pa ultrasound.
Hoepfully mga sissy natin may makuha info dito.

you still remember me? it's been awhile since i last posted here & haven't checked the posts, sorry. i'm glad there are other sisses out there who are willing & making the effort to answer inquiries here to help others. "pay it forward" sisses, lahat naman tayo iisa dinadaanan so let's help each other out.

update: we're exactly 7mos/28wks preggy today! we're having a boy! this was from our FET (frozen embryo transfer) in taichung, taiwan. our 1st IVF last april-may 2011 using 4 good grade embryos wasn't succesful. we found out i had a problem with my immunology & got treated for my 50% LAT score (should be 100%) first thru dr.aleta then thru dra.abong from june-sept. when it reached 100% in oct, we had our FET in nov-dec 2011. we used our 4 remaining frozen embryos & 2 implanted. twins! sadly, at 9wks old, twinA lost its heartbeat. it was also a boy, so we were supposed to have twin boys: pio joseph (after st. pio) & joshua michael (after hubby). we really wished for twins but God had other plans, He has His reasons & we trust that it's all for the best.

after all the tusok, meds & drama of the 1st IVF, immunology treatments, FET, losing twinA, being hospitalized due to bleeding, using the bedpan & being on bedrest til 4mos & countless novenas to st.pio, all is well! baby is kicking & moving like crazy & we're so loving it! ang sarap talaga na nararamdaman mo syang gumagalaw sa tummy, totoong totoo na sya. then we started scouting for baby stuff & received some hand me down baby clothes, talagang exciting kasi it's all so real na!

today also marks exactly 1yr since we had our 1st IVF negative pregnancy test. milestone talaga today kasi after 1yr, i'm 7mos preggy na! God truly fulfills His promise in His perfect time. so sisses, don't lose hope, keep the faith! i went thru 1 whole year of sacrifices & heartaches but i was dedicated to my dream of having a baby & it all payed off. i'm now enjoying the "fruits of my labor" & experiencing this awesome time in my life. this is a new chapter for us & we look forward to much happiness in future. i wish you all of this, that you may also reap the fruits of all your hardship & sacrifice knowing that God is true to His word, that He knows what's best for us & that He will give us our heart's desire at the perfect time.

i have been undergoing LIT for 6 sessions now, and i've been using this bandage, as the normal bandage my immu gave me makes my skin itch a lot and nagsusugat, soon enough i found out about this magical thing, super ok siya it sticks to itself so no hook needed, its not makapal too so skin is always fresh, plus dami choices of colors, 5yards of it i think pwede magamit ng 3-4 treatments, please do contact me if anyone is interested thanks
