Baby Car Seat, maganda and comfy?

^ when do you need it sis? Kasi we plan on getting a new carseat na for my daughter kasi sagad na sya sa 32" maximum height.

Though di pa kami nakakabili. We plan on getting one next week. Once nakabili kami, we'll store this infant carseat na (well, it's actually part of a Safety 1st travel system), FAA approved naman so I can lend it to you if ever swak tayo sa sched.

I would definitely recommend a reboarding/ rear-facing car seat as long as possible preferably until the age of 4 as they are soo much safer!

We have the Britax Dualfix from www.prams.net and are really happy with it. Safe and looks good in the car

We got the Happy Dino car seat from babyland. It only sells for 3500 and its good for 0-12months. Cushion is not as soft compared to aprica or maxicosi but that is something workable i guess. Just didnt want to gamble on 2nd hand carseats. Will be investing on a nicer one as soon as the baby outgrows it.

Btw its rear facing and is secured via seat belt.

^^muntik na namin bilhin yan sis. From peg perego na 20k newborn to toddler na bulky, ang cute ng Happy Dino, lightweight pwede pa rocker. Kaso nakakita kami sa Rustan's ng Chicco Keyfit, almost 11k, gang 1 yr old lang. Pero kasi nalalagay sa stroller namin para nakaharap si baby samin.

^hmm baka wala kung hanggang 2, usually 1 lang pag mura eh.

Kung nagresearch lang ako mabuti dati baka mas maganda stroller ko (so mas maganda carseat) which is a different story hehe

We got the Safety First travel system and were able to use the infant car seat up to 1 year old si baby. Though medyo sagad na talaga yun. Max of 30-32" kasi yata height ni baby for the car seat. Di kasi kami nakabili agad ng kapalit kasi na-busy kaya pinagtyagaan muna namin.

After that we bought a bigger car seat, hopefully kasya to hanggang 2-3years old na. Convertible - pwedeng rear-facing, pwede front-facing. Rear-facing pa din kami now at 15.5mos. I prefer it that way. Baka 2 years old ko na sya iikot to front-facing. I forgot the brand, pero it's not that expensive. Less than 10k yata yun sa SM Department Store Baby Company.

Medyo kamukha sya nung Maxicosi na muntik na namin bilhin sa Babyland. Wala lang kasi sila stock na iba, yung display unit lang so di namin binili. We went to Megamall a few days after and yun we found that other car seat.

Nakabili na ko ng car seat   Enfant ang brand and good for newborn - 1 yr old... rear facing only...
It costs Php 2999.00 sa Landmark and less 10%

We bought na kasi yesterday yung keyfit (10k), no choice kasi gusto talaga namin nakaharap sa amin si baby kasi cranky sya dati sa stroller nya. So kanina, okay na sya sa carseat nya yehey nagsleep sya sa car then sa mall sleep lang sya. Although nasisikipan ako for my baby na tipong after 2 mos hindi na sya kasya (less than 4 mos sya now). Bili na lang kami ng iba next time. Ang ganda nung sa mothercare na travel system nila, kasi stroller ay reversible hehe they have also yung 7k & 9k (mas malambot cushion) lang na carseat newborn to toddler na, baka yun na next namin buy.

Help naman baka may video tutorial or anyone knows how to install this car seat.. Innova ang sasakyan namin and gusto ko sa center sya ilagay.. lap belt ang gamit.. tinuruan naman ako ng salesman when we bought this yesterday pero after watching a movie, nakalimutan ko na exactly... 

Kapag hindi namin mainstall this week, balik kami sa Landmark and papainstall namin sa salesman hehe

There should be a manual with pictures on how to install.

^I forgot to mention, there is a manual but it looks like it's not for the exact model that we bought.

Bought a Mothercare Madrid Combination Car Seat na can go from birth (rear-facing) to 18kgs (approx 4 years old/front-facing). I think it's a good buy naman since matagal magagamit and it's well-reviewed.

Got it at 15% off! These are the things na worth investing talaga esp if for the baby's safety. We will have our car seat fitting appointment with a professional sometime in May. For my other child naman, we got mothers choice coz he was older na when he moved abroad with us. Cheaper but good quality din.

Now that my son is almost 2, i appreciate our maxi cosi pria (5lbs to 70lbs) more. The side cushions are good for naps. Hindi napupunta sa side masyado yung head niya. Mandatory for us talaga that our son is strapped on a car seat because super duper active siya. He'll be all over the car so thank God i purchased a convertible car seat. A couson borrowed his car seat when we were aboad and gusto daw ng daughter niya yung side cushions while napping.

Sa next baby ko i'll puchase an infant car seat then convertible
