Baby Car Seat, maganda and comfy?

^In other countries it's the law, the hospital will not release you unless you have a carseat installed in the car.

Here, we don't have any such laws. I would highly recommend having a carseat/infant seat installed in your car when you leave the hospital. We will be using my daughter's current carseat which has an infant insert

My baby has the BeSafe carseat of Stokke for babies under 12 kg. i really love how I can remove the carseat and mount it on the stokke stroller. Saves time as well as to avoid waking up the baby when you have to transfer her. She looks comfty naman.

We are eyeing on the BeSafe izi combi x3 when baby is over 12kg.

^ car seats have expiration dates. If you're buying pre-loved or borrowing from someone, check this too. They are usually only safe to use for 6 years from date of manufacture. Google na lang for more info on car seat expiration.

hi mga sis FTM here and frist baby is the way. ask ko lang what are the best brands to buy for carseat / stroller combo na good for new born to 2 years of age. TIA!

sabi nga nila di daw advisable bumili ng second hand stroller and car seat e. yun siguro yun reason kasi may expiry sila and di na mav-vouch ang safety beyond the expiration date. hmmm..

Another danger of buying a second hand carseat is you won't know if it's been in a car accident. It's advised to change the carseat even in a minor accident.

Also there may be missing parts that could compromise the effectivity of the carseat. So you should research the brand to ensure all parts are intact-and make sure you get the manual!

^Peg Perego seats are known to be compact, another plus is it's easier to install. Rustan's sells them but then only carry the 5-30/35 one. I got the 5-70 from Amazon, with shipping it's the same price as Rustan's.

What's a good brand for a toddler-young child highback booster or backless booster?

^We're using a Chicco high back booster; it's for up to 10-12 yo. It can also be converted to a backless booster (maybe for age 10 onwards). I recommend high back boosters vs backless because they're safer (with side impact protection), and more comfortable (with arm rests and a headrest that's useful for when the child falls asleep).

^Thanks! I'm considering the Britax SLG as it looks compact but I'll have to buy from Amazon and ship here.

I read up on some of the other recommendations and I love the Clek Oobr! Some of the amazon reviews were parents who moved over from the Britax SLG. Oh how I wish our cars have the latch system

My SIL bought britax marathon clicktight for my son..so far so good, hindi mainit sa likod ni baby. Easy to install and uninstall sa sasakyan..i think he loves it,hindi pa kami nakakalayo nakakatulog na sya agad..haha

Anyone wants to sell their infant car seat? Mine kasi is convertible and i need a more compact one for use on our upcoming trip. Car seat needs to be FAA approved for use on aircraft, not yet expired of course and maximum height recommendation should be 30" or higher. Okay lang preloved kasi will use it on this trip lang.
