^^For me, mas sulit ang convertible car seat that your child can use from NB to 4yo, and a separate stroller. The baby carriers that go with travel systems, usually hanggang 6 mos lang nagkakasya ang bata (even if it says up to 1yo).

^I'd recommend also a convertible car seat which can be used from 0-4 yo. Boosters are for 4 and above (some up to 10 or 12).

^We used a Mothercare house brand. Their stores also carry other brands like Britax, etc. You can also check out Rustan's, Youji & Me, Chicco for other selections. Best to ask for a car fitting before purchasing.

Sis, anong car seat ang ok ang fit sa honda city 2011 model? I was about to buy this graco car seat na convertible and just read from here na pwedeng hindi fit sa lahat ng cars ang car seat. Am due in May at gusto ko na na nakacar seat si baby from the hospital. Thanks.

i used to drive the same model honda city. we used a chicco proxima reversible carseat. we placed it sa center ng backseat but it wasnt a good fit kasi parang may hump don sa seat plus lap belt lang. we tried placing it on either side also sa backseat pero for some reason, di pa din siya good fit. it probably depends on the car seat brand and model but we just didnt like the combination we had.

freshpicks, i agree with DV. we also didnt use a travel system kasi sandali lang magagamit yung carrier na kasama. we have a chicco proxima reversible car seat, got it for 11k back in 2010.

mothercare house brand car seats are ok din. we got a mothercare advance xp good for 9mos to 4 years old kasi akala ko malapit nang ma-outgrow ng daughter ko yung chicco pero hanggang ngayon yon pa din gamit niya. her shoulders have almost reach the highest slot for the shoulder straps, maybe in a couple of months graduate na kami sa chicco proxima. it served us well, we've been using it for a little over 2 years na.

if you would like to fit the car seat in your car, i recommend going to the high street branch of mothercare because you can do the fitting along the street right outside the store. they fitted the advance xp in our car before we got it.

Clueless, kami naman graduate na sa convertible car seat. My daughter is using her Chicco high-back booster (gusto ko rin sana yung Mothercare XP Advance--mas maganda nga sya dun sa isa--kaya lang we still have the Chicco, sayang naman). What I don't like about this lang hindi makatulog nang maayos ang anak ko dahil walang recline, lumalaylay yung ulo nya. I'll probably get her a neck pillow na lang.

DV, that's my problem with the advance xp also, walang recline. The chicco proxima can be reclined a bit so that's better for napping in the car.

Freshpicks, matagal pa pala. Yung have time pa, baka magrestock pa ang mothercare. The chicco proxima has newborn head support and according to the specs, pwede for newborn but my daughter was only 5lbs when she was born. Parang weird ang position nya on the carseat at that age so we only actually let her use it when she was about 3 months old or so.

^ How much is the chicco proxima? Up to how old can it be used? Budget ko kasi sana around 6-7k lang which is good for mothercare madrid sana.
