Baby Car Seat, maganda and comfy?

my grandson uses the Orbit Baby car seat and stroller system.
maganda siya kasi the car seat rotates like 360 degrees kaya madaling i-strap-on sa car, can be rea-facing, front-facing even side-facing.
then the car seat itself can be removed from the base and moved to the stroller.
kaya the parents don't need 2 car seats for their cars, they only need to bases.

Hi mga mommies!
29 weeks pregnant here. Ü also looking for carseat. Before me and my husband was determined to buy the chicco cortina with keyfit carseat. But then when i read this thread nagdadalawang isip na tuloy ako if we should really buy the carseat of chicco. Lalabas kasi nasa 9k yata yun if will buy separately wc is only good for newborn up to 1yo or depends to the weight of the baby. Tapos nung nakita ko kahapon yung fisherprice na carseat, P6999 pero from 3months to 4yo daw sabi nung saleslady. Kaya lang medyo bulky lang. Ang hirap tuloy magdecide! Sabi nga ni husband bilhin na lang daw yung capella carseat wc is only 4k. At least medyo affordable but not sure about the quality compared to chicco and fisherprice...

Which carseat is that? We got a capella carseat for 13k from rustans

^mommy khriseee, included sa capella stroller yung car seat na sinasabi ko. Ü kasi sa robinsons manila and youji and me sa trinoma, binebenta nila yung carseat sa stroller separately. The stroller is around 9k tapos additional carseat is 4k. Ayaw lang ng husband ko sa capella stroller because of the base, medyo matigas daw, pero yung capella carseat approved sa kanya.

sis micci, sa robinsons place manila daw nakabili ng fisher price safe voyage si sis rome01. ako naman i saw that sa landmark trinoma. i think same price din around 6k+. yes, pwede siya sa newborn. you can check out the full specs on the fisher price site. hth!

we got a chicco cortina travel system kasi so stroller tapos may car seat and carrier na ( chicco keyfit 30) na din. 20-25k sa robinsons festivall supermall alabang kami bumili. so far, okay naman and comfy sya. baby sleeps soundly on both stroller and carrier/car seat

I'm super happy my daughter is so used to her carseat. Last weekend lang we had to un-install her carseat from the car because we had an additional unexpected passenger and hindi na kami kakasya. So we removed the carseat and out it int he trunk then my daughter sat on my lap at the backseat. Sabi siya ng sabi ng carseat, carseat. She was looking for it talaga.

She has almost outgrown her chicco proxima. I have to buy a new one real soon. Still want to get the mothercare malmo highback booster carseat recommended by sis DV. Sana may stockpa and sana i can get it na on sunday.

^clueless, sa Greenbelt ka ba bibili? Meron pang stock sa TriNoma last weekend, just in case. Tiningnan ko rin ulit e. Hehe.

Will have to switch to a booster na rin dahil lampas na yung ulo ng anak ko dun sa convertible car seat nya.

^ DV, i called the greenbelt branch earlier today but they said they didnt have the malmo in stock. I called the high street branch, they dont have it as well but they said nga that trinoma has it and apparently pati greenbelt! I dont know why they said wala.

I looked at the specs of the malmo and advance xp, which was my initial choice, again. Parang mas padded yung advance xp and it can be reclined a bit daw. May bagong stock at bhs daw so i had it reserved. Mukhang my husband likes the advance xp more eh baka hindi na namin tingnan yung malmo, though it's a lot cheaper sana.

Oh and they said pala it's rated for 10 years of use daw. Totoo kaya? Graco is 6 years only eh.

^Baka nga kaya mas mura yung Malmo. Yea, mas maganda nga kung may recline yung Advance XP. That's one of the reasons why I couldn't let go of the Seville, mas kumportable kasi dahil sa recline. Walang problema even if my child falls asleep in the car, hindi lumalaylay ang ulo.

How long is the warranty of the Advance XP? Totoo naman siguro yung 10 years; I think generally pag UK brand strict sa quality.

^ oo, ang two main differences ng malmo and advance xp are the recline and the additionsl padding i think. Oir chicco proxima reclines din and gusto ko nga din yung ganon para pag nakatulog.

Nagulat lang ako na 10 years ang rating! Usually kasi 5-6 years lang yung common na nakikita ko. Yung stock na nireserve for me manufactured in 2010 so i have 8 years pa. Hehe.

Got the mothercare advance xp today. They installed it in our mini suv. The girl who did it was very thorough and seemed to really know what she was doing. The whole time they were working on it, my daughter and i were watching them and she kept saying "carseat, carseat". When we finally strapped her in, she said "nice carseat".

sulit sa amin yan sis kasi hindi nadidisturb si baby from the car to the stroller and vice versa. Nung almost 1 na sya, lagpas na kasi sya kaya we bought a second hand Britax. She likes it din. Baka nasanay na din sya sa carseat kaya wala din kaming struggle later on. May part na meron lalo kapag long trips. Nabobore siguro.

I think yung carseat ng son ko ang pinaka-sulit sa lahat ng binili namin na baby stuff for him. We bought yung Aprica pero second hand sya. We got it from a couple sa may Alabang. So, okay naman kasi well taken care of naman sya. Malinis at maganda pa.

My son seats comfortably sa carseat nya. as in, kahit long drives...walang iyak! hehe
