Diaper Rashes: What do you use?

I bought a tub of Nivea Baby Smoothy Cream last Saturday for my baby boy (na ipapanganak ko sa March). Meron na ba nakagamit sa inyo nito? Ok ba? Kasi ito ang recommended ng friend ko na doctor. She used it sa panganay nya. Ito rin gamit nya ngayon sa kanyang newborn. It’s super cheap at P170.

Desitin Ointment -- this is a miracle worker.. when my son had diaper rashes that almost covered his butt this ointment saved the day with just 1 overnight application. the swelling & redness was gone in the morning!

kyrie26, tested ko talaga ang Burt's bees for my kids. when daughter had a terrible diarrhea when she was a baby (as in every hour ata nakaka-2 nappy change kami), eto lang yung nakapag-clear up ng rashes nya. imagine her bum was very red and to use the term of the yayas in their local dialect "nagdadarak" (the wounds were excreting sticky stuff). we tried several brands, walang effect. even the ones that the pedia prescribed didnt help at all. burt's bees only.

thanks sis! that's reassuring, though i hope di kami makaexperience ng nappy rash. pero if ever, at least i know  i can rely on burts bees yung redness daw that i saw before wasn't a rash, pero pag pala nagred ng ganun, dapat pahanginan at idry na agad (and nilagyan ko ng BB) kasi if pinaabot ng ilang days na ganun eh it would turn into a nasty rash. i try to change her cloth nappy every 3-4hours na 

also, i love how much a little tiny peadrop of Burtsbees would cover! nagulat ako nung una, i squeezed out a bunch tapos grabeh ang dami dami pala ng kaya nun haha!!! so sa mga next application eh very tiny na lang. after that night, solved na kami. on the ready na lang si BB should we need it again

Mustela Vitamin Barrier for Diaper Change. I also use this for nappy change ko when I have my menstruation. Smells gentle and made my behind really soft! btw, I am not a mother. Just sharing.

Aveeno Stress Relief lotion sis.....ito lang nagpagalng sa rashes ng baby ko nun. ANg dami na rin na try pero no effect.

Desitin Cream - works best for my son when he's having rashes. as in isang aplayan lang, makikita na agad ang result. very effective. mabango na. cheap pa.

Kasi nung una yan balak ko bilhin eh. Tapos ayaw ni bf malansa daw amoy naalala niya sa pamangkin niya dati.... Or nagiba na lang ng amoy ngayon?

We're using FiSsan anti-diaper rash powder since birth ni baby ko.

^^ sis sa pagkakaalam ko, may ointment din sya. pero haven't tried it yet, kaya di ko alam ang amoy. laging cream lang kami, para sa akin mabango naman ang cream.

I want to recommend Calmoseptine Cream for diaper rash. Used this before sa daughter ko. You can buy sachets from Mercury Drug, very affordable. It is recommended by her pedia.  I always have a sachet of that in her toiletries. On my 2nd daughter na darating next week, I will still use the same brand.

Hi sis! Sakin po desitin... Yung nasa ebay.. Meron din sa mercury pero mas maganda ata yung imported.. Sa ebay nakakita po ako.. Super effecive and i use it also to prevent diaper rash.. Kahit walang rashes si baby, nilalagyan ko konti na lang.. Pricey to pero worth naman po mga mommies!

if may diaper rash na,after wsahing the area,let dry,kyng pwede wag muna i diaper or [textspeak!] baby idapa then put the diaper anderneath never close the diaper muna,,then apply calmosistine let the baby in  prone or nakadapa muna saka nalang i close if ititihaya na si baby,,,or pwede rin palitan na rin yung brand ng diaper baka kasi masyado mainit sa baby or may allergy sya sa coating ng diaper...

For diaper rash I use petroleum jelly.

my mom got me some lansinoh diaper rash ointment. i'm planning to use cloth diapers on my baby though so i'll probably get a cloth diaper-safe rash cream/ointment as well. although, people say you almost never have to deal with diaper rash when you use cloth diapers.

if you use the cloth diaper correctly  ako i never let the insides (absorbent layers) of the cloth diaper get soaked. i change my baby before that point. i try to change every 3 hours or less. sometimes eh sumosobra hehe! im now trying to gradually choose a night time diaper na pwedeng 6-8hours straight. as of now, 4-5hours kami at night then palit ng new nappy
