Diaper Rashes: What do you use?

Mommies, share naman kayo what you use for maintaining your babies' diaper areas, rash-free...
And also when baby has extreme rashes (minsan may sugat na) specially pag may diarrhea si baby...

Recent use:
Desitin - for maintenance (if parang magkakaroon sila ng rashes)
Triderm and Rashfree Zinc Oxide - was prescribed when my kids had diarrhea

when my baby had amoebiasis, she had a bad case of diaper rash. we tried all - baby petroleum jelly, aveeno, desitin, calmoseptine, earth mama angel baby bottom balm, inidigo baby jar of hope, pati daktakort (sp?) - and every single one of them did not help, they just made it worse and one of these even made it so much worse na umabot sa thighs niya. the oly thing that helped was washing her with warm water every diaper change. so that's what we do until now. the cheapest solution there is.

when we go out, we wash her with indigo baby monshine if we dont have access to warm water.

Burt's Bees diaper ointment. Pricey but very effective. We even use it on my son's neck whenever he develops rashes in that area

I'm using No Rash(from baby's hospital kit) and pag naubos na will be using Vandol(also from baby's hospital kit) then sabi ng pedia pede na lang ang petroleum jelly.

mga sis, pwede ba ang calmoseptine kahit sa adult? kasi hypersensitive ako sa insect bites as in namamaga talaga and ayoko sanang talagang kelangan pa akong uminom palagi ng anti allergy and magpahid ng steriod as what my derma recommended. yung off kasi pang lamok lang pag mga langgam kasi ang kumagat saakin kahit maliit na langgam isang kagat lang sobrang maga na.

My son recently had diarrhea and he had diaper rash, I initially used a generic cream of Zinc Oxide which was useless. We brought him to the hospital and was prescribed Calmoseptine. Effective siya, ang bilis natuyo. At first I though wala rin effect, nung super frequent pa mag pupu yung son ko, hindi pa naaabsorb mabuti yung cream tapos we need to wash him na ulet kaya siguro parang walang nangyari but when madalang nalang mag pupu, ang bilis talaga nawala nung rashes.

When Zoe had rashes, her pedia prescribed calmoseptine. Nung nawala na, I bought a diaper rash powder from Watsons which we use every diaper change. Since non hinde na nagka-rashes si Zoe.

ay sorry sis, wrong spelling pala ako. tama yung sayo, sansfluo pero yung diaper rash cream nila sis. nabili ko nun sa baby company fair. bilib ako sa cream na yan kasi kahit manipis lang ilagay mo, nawawala agad ang rashes. andami pa nga e kasi bihira lang naman magkarashes si baby. hindi ko na kasi hinihintay mapuno ng mala "jollibee" ang diaper nya and lagi wash with warm water namin sya whenever nagpupu. hindi na kami nagwawipes.

off-topic: i also have you sansfluo gum/tooth brush na nilalagay sa index finger and sanfluo toothpaste. and like ko din both.

Calmoseptine and rash free parehong effective sa kids ko. Yung 'rash free' freebie lang yun. But when i tried, effective pala.

Hi Cheska! I forgot na the brand of the powder, nasa office kase ko now. But you can get it watsons, katabi nya yung mga milcu and fissan powder. Wala pang 100 pesos for a big bottle. Matagal pati sya magamit. Mejo minty sya kaya it works as a cooling powder na din for Zoe's bottom
