Hi mga sis. Got my MBP last Friday. Ask ko lang. Yun matte crystal case ba okay siya as a cover? Ito yun nakita ko online. Ang mahal kase sa powermac. Nung ginamit ko kase yun laptop ng assistant chief nurse namin, nagustuhan ko yun cover e. Parang rubber type. Is this same with the satin case?

And, what do you use for Office? Did you download Microsoft Office for Mac? If yes, can someone PM me where to download it for free? I really need the office kase. Di ako sanay sa Pages e. Haha!

Did you get your MBP from Kimstore? How is the product - maayos naman ba like is it really brand new and has a legit serial number? I'm planning to buy from her too kaya I'm gathering and reading up feedback/comments of her MBPs. Thanks!

any idea guys kung saan mura bumili ng AppleCare Protection Plan? malapit na mag end yung 1 year warranty ng MBP13 ko. and, do they check the laptop before you can purchase the AppleCare? naka Boot Camp kasi MBP13 ko eh. by the way, hindi pa ako naka mountain lion. sa mga nag upgrade to mountain lion, may mga nabura na ba files? thanks!

^nakamountain lion na ako. i had mine restored due to a different reason so we backed up files. upon restoring ininstall na rin yung mountain lion.  so i suggest just back up your files.

Sis sorry sa late reply. Yes sis. I got it from Kimstore. Most of our gadgets are bought from her. Very reliable naman. May warranty and all. =) I'm enjoying my Mac experience without any troubles. =)

hi, anyone here who had problems with wifi? my mac13" since i've had an ios  failed update, i can no longer use my wifi and it keeps saying "no airport card installed".  I have tried resetting SMS and PRAM but it didn't work.

^ prob is my warranty already expired, wasn't able to buy applecare.  Hay, the service center might charge me big time

^hi guytalker and Mac user here...
yung sa failed iOS update try using the rescue disk. may disc na kasama yang macbook mo right? use that and start a clean install.... that should do the trick. kung sira na talaga ang airport mo, may mga nabibili na usb wi-fi. ^_^

btw, i kinda been around macs for quite a while so post away and i'll see if i can help.

may kasama bang Disc ang MBP? i bought mine late last year and walang any disc na kasama, the OSX lion is already "somewhere in the HD" and just needs to be run to reformat/reinstall.

question though: if i am to upgrade from lion to mountain lion, mawawala ba yung boot camp ko?

^yung sa akin kasi meron pa... binili ko sya sa US last year pero ang pagkakalam ko yang nasa Hard disk na yan pwede mo i burn into multiple discs tapos you can boot from them for a clean install. for the upgrade, i am not sure kung mabubura.  what you can do is check. kung naka partition yung disk then it shouldn't be affected, just don't choose to install on the partition kung nasaan yung installer

but if not, possibly ma ooverwrite yan.  so yun pa rin ang suggestion ko as above.  burn it into multiple discs look for the dmg file that runs to allow you to create a recovery disk. then upgrade, para at lest kung mabura man, you have the recovery disc.  i suggest i try mo rin muna yung recovery disc kung tatakbo ng maayos before upgrading by doing clean install.

ang reason kasi niyan is OEM ang license ng software and not an open license.

naka partition ako into 3, the osx, win7 and recovery disk. will try. still thinking if it's worth the upgrade. thanks again

question na rin sir, how is windows 7 on mac machine? parang mas makain sa resources kasi may third party app pa right? or ok rin ang speed?

oks naman speed dude, mabilis pa rin naman. tsaka one at a time lang yung tumatakbo na OS, hindi naman sabay si win7 at OSX. may mga apps kasi ako na kelangan na sa windows lang tumatakbo eh

Nag sale ang apple kaka end lang kanina. Sayang less 4k din mbp. Pambili ko na sana ng ms office.

@eveelicious. after creating your rescue disk? yes. just make sure you backup your files (music, video, docs, etc) before proceeding. also please note that this does not guarantee success of resolving your wifi issue but it would help isolate kung software problem or hardware failure na. like i've said you can go the easier path. buy a usb wi-fi and plug it in to your mac. lesser hassle but if you want to do the clean install, pwede rin naman, just remember that all the updates will need to be installed again once you've done the fresh installation
