^Maganda combine mo keyboard shortcut and gestures. Mas bumilis ako gumamit ng Mac nung natutunan ko yun. Meron sa Settings nung mga keyboard shortcuts.

^Sa Powermac meron pero alam ko depende sa price kasi meron sila na Macbook Air ata yun na straight payment lang pero yung iba na Pro pwede i-6 mos.

planning to buy a 13" mbp. kaya ba dun mag play ng sims3, dota & the likes?

^sims3 yeah it can lalo na now with the i7 processor but choose the one with higher specs. suggestion ko lang is in terms of screen real estate eh go for the 15in unless if you've been using a 13inch eversince and you want something lighter to lug around 13 should play well with your games. kung heavy gamer ka check mo rin si alienware.

Hi.

Mac user here. I got 27" iMac and a 15" MBP.

I seldom use my MBP when I'm at home because I enjoy having a big screen.

I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion (10.8.1). It was a tad confusing in the beginning but I finally got the hang of it. I also enjoy airplay mirroring a lot.

I'm planning to upgrade my laptop this December. My tosh will be 6yrs old next year and madami na rin problems. It will be used for business proposals na lang.
Anyway, I'm torn between MBA & MBPro

I wanted faster and lighter sana since I travel and work in the car (I'm a stay at home working mom), but I plan to do pic editing and video editing as soon as I upgraded my laptop. Mga magkano na ba ngayon price nila for comparison?

^Check mo Apple PH, yung prices dun same prices sa Powermac. May specs na rin para makita mo kung ano mag-fit sa needs mo.

^^for medium pic and vid editing na lightweight you'll be fine with a mbp 13" if you're ok with a smaller screen, pero kung multi-tasker ka na you keep a lot of windows open better get a 15" or stick to the size you have na like if you watch movies on the side while working, it's more comfortable to work on a 15in.

If magpapapalit sa apple philippines ng macbook, how long before dumating yung replacement? Tapos yung naglalakad ng replacement is yung apple/mac dealer?

very very happy with my MacBook pro 13" i5. bought it as a grad gift for myself (BNEW for 52k only + iWork and office mac na)! super fast although syempre sanayan kapag galing ng windows. kakalurky lang yung pagkabisa ng shortcuts and gestures and other functions na wala sa pc.

i play games, edit photos and videos. of course documents, other work related things and art. although i would agree not so good and graphics.

bought extras: hard case, keyboard protector, trackpad protector, palm guard, and a Book Book case to disguise it, mahirap na, sariling ipon.

(wow, narealize ko 6 months ko na sya gamit and still not familiar with all its functions)

my SIL has MB and my blockmates have MBA. my kuya also has MBP.
compared to my MBP --

MB - heavier but the keyboard is nicer, white parang madumihin/madali ma yellow and ma scratch.
MBA - smaller, lighter, but without the extra stuff (dvd drive, etc.) best for mga magtatype lang naman.
MBP - bonus ang lighted keyboard, mem card slot, etc. lighter than MB. pero sana ang USB slot e nilagay nila sa right side.

^^it's good but you can make it even better if you'll pay extra.

i play games and render images/videos kasi on my BF's PC. whatever his graphics/video card is, di ko naman knows, so compared to my MBP parang ang graphics ng sakin eh comparable lang sa dati kong Eee PC.

i.e., sims 3 on my mbp vs. sims 3 on his pc, sobrang fluid nung graphics nya.

dota on my mbp vs. dota on his pc: ganun din, ganda nung sa kanya. besides di pa pwede dota 2 sa mac unless you're booted.

and to think na his entire PC setup is cheaper than my mbp. he has 2 monitors pa.

i havent had mine upgraded yet but i dont think i need to. i have his pc naman for gaming
