OMG!! The new MacBook pro is amazingly something to look forward to.
Kick-ass hardware, features and all! 
Though I have a grave feeling, the price would be jaw dropping, too!

Nagtanong na ko sa Powermac ng Retina MBPro. They have it na pero walang demo unit Badtrip lang kasi aside from walang removable battery, eto kasi problem ko kasi 2x na ko nakasira ng battery sa 2008 MBPro ko, wala pang CD/DVD Rom at wala rin 17". Apparently, ipha-phased out na daw lahat ng 17" na MBPro.

Hindi na ko bibili ng Retina MBPro. I decided on getting an iMac nalang, 27". Mahirap na pag nasira ko ang battery lol But I will wait until October kasi may rumor na baka maglabas ng iMac with Retina.

I'm planning to get either an MBP or an MBA. I'm leaning on MBP for the specs, pero gusto ko yung portability ng Air.

I'm also a Windows user, di ba ako masyado mahihirapan sa switch?

^ the new MBook Pro is actually really not that bulky anymore plus you get all the updated specs. if you're a video/photog person. My Air quits on me kasi minsan when i'm rendering videos, the spinning pinwheel of death comes half way.

No hindi ka mahihirapan mag switch.

^^I find Mac easier to use than Windows.

Go for the new MBPro, the one with retina. Mas sulit bayad mo dun than buying Air. And I agree with sis jiabanana, mas manipis and magaan na yung new MBPro ngayon.

If you use a lot of Windows shortcuts, o medyo advanced ang skill mo (like you're Windows certified/troubleshooter, and the like) I think may struggle. Asar na asar ako dati sa pag-switch ko, especially sa Excel. I even hated the absence of the backspace key. Hahaha. Took me a few months to get used to it.

delete kase sa windows is deleting the characters at the right side of the cursor, backspace left side, so it's hard talaga for an excel heavy user sa windows to switch sa mac. i wish F2 din is edit sa mac excel lol.

i'm an accountant, heavy excel user and super bagal ko when using macbook, frustrating hehe. i dont like using mouse sa excel kase, mostly keyboard shortcuts alam ko (as in pag may magtatanong how to do a certain command, i cant tell it. i need to be in front of the keyboard lol)

I don't think I can afford the one with the retina display. But I'll probably go with the upgraded MacPro, just in case.
