Clarins lotus treatment oil helps balance oiliness in the face, it also helps refine skin. Use 2-3 drops at night, no need to follow with a moisturizer. After about a week of use, skin will be noticeable less oily.

This is my back-up treatment whenever my skin gets oily. It's not cheap, but a bottle will last about 6-8 months, even with daily use.

I think naglessen yung pagkaoily ng face ko when I started using a toner. Luckily I found my HG Toner which is Kojiesan Dual Cleanser and Toner. I was hesitant first kasi my alcohol siya and might even dry and consequently make my skin oilier but I was lucky na hiyang ako. I am on my 3rd month na. I also use Celeteque Hydration Moisturizer. Maganda siya kasi gel type siya. I read that gel type moisturizers are better for oily skin. Last to put on my face is Belo's Tinted Moisturizer. Sobrang ganda effect sa akin and I rarely blot because of this.

^welcome dear. Trial and error lang talaga. It might work for me but it may not for you... there's no other way to see this unless you try it yourself. One tip though, for oily skin, it is imperative that you use a toner. Look for those toner intended for oily skin.

Yes, using it right now. Naimmune na yata ako sa Kojiesan. Mas ok siya kasi nagmamatte yung skin after application.

I've heard na glycolic peeling solution can help lessen oiliness sa face. Kaso neostrata lang ang alam kong brand and I think they don't sell it directly sa individuals. Kailangan sa dermas. May alam pa kayong pwedeng bilhan? Kaya naman gawin ang glycolic peel kasi sa house by yourself just use it with precaution. Sa U.S. kasi ganito ginagawa and in fact, may peeling kit pa nga sila. It's mild lang kasi compared sa other peeling solutions.

What facial wash do you use? I have tried clean and clear but too drying thus producing more oil sa face ko.

Effective din sa akin ang Biore UV Perfect Face Milk. Bought one from Watson's. Been using it for almost a year as sunscreen. Added effect/use na rin sa akin na natatago ang oiliness ng face ko. :)

Ma-try nga din yang Tiny Buds Rice Powder.

Do you moisturize your face afterwards? That's how you counteract dryness from facial washes. Or maybe try Cetaphil or Physiogel cleansers.

I just recently tried the "jamsu" technique. It's a Korean makeup trend where you dip your face in ice cold water after putting your foundation and powder. It kept my skin matte for several hours and I looked poreless daw. :)

@budzwidz yes, I moisturize right after using facial wash. But right now, im super oily and nagkakaroon na ko ng pimples and colorless na dots. I'll try cetaphil/physiogel. Thanks

I think for oily skin it's a lot better to use gel moisturizers instead of those cream ones. I am currently using Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel. Ok siya. I've stopped using toner kasi tinamad na ako. Moreover, I am using Emolkleen as my cleaser. Para siyang Cetaphil din pero may urea siyang ingredient kaya ok siya. Sad lang sa derma lang nabibili eh I am outside PH. I am on my last bottle kaya maghahanap na naman ng kapalit. I am also considering Heliocare Gel Sunscreen kaso sobrang mahal naman kasi but anyway, for the sake of good skin why not. :)

Keeping my skin well moisturized, using low ph cleanser helps too in my case and i stop using my tea tree toner (stings whenever i used it) and i used a light moisturizer. Also, i always bring my handy Gastby blotting sheets.
I plan to add some primers to keep my makeup last thru the day..

To be honest, i have been experimenting with SO many oil free products before but it turned out, the solution is just right under our nose.  Our face is constantly irritated by so many beauty products that we experiment on our skin.  Like those sulfate - drying cleansers that we often use like neutrogena etc.

Turned out, we should just be washing our skin with mild (non too squeaky clean) cleansers to avoid our face from becoming "reddish".  Akala natin, when it is squeaky clean, its a good sign, yun pla, irritated na sha.  So my suggestion is look for cleansers na gentle lang.  If you have makeup, use cleansing balm or oil cleanser then wash off with a gently soap cleanser na hindi squeaky clean.

We need to retain a small film of oil on our skin to avoid it from overproducing.  I just feel na i often change dermatologists kasi di nila macure yung pimples ko.   Try to watch liah yoo or susan of mixed makeup on youtube and be responsible in researching how our skin behaves.  If we put different products on our face and continue to experiment, it may have more harm than good.

Now I use Sjoris (korean eco product), but you can also research on sukin products.  It may be costly kasi it does not have sulfates which is the "detergent" that causes the squeaky clean sensation.

Also avoid putting acids like those DIY lime or apple cider vinegar on your face.  You want it to neutralize your skin PH not burn it.
