Hi! Can someone share the experience of going through PDOS? Specifically what time ang ideal pumunta since limited slots per day. TIA!

Parang hindi na umuusad yung F3 Category. Feeling ko nasa 40's na kami pag na-approve yung visa namin. I'm losing the right perspective na.

With my brother in law's experienced with PDOS pero canada nga lang is kumuha kame ng schedule via phone earliest is 9am then kung may kasama sa petition na minor they dont need to go to the seminar anymore pero you need to bring their papers/documents. You need to be there early kasi madameng tao the dun ka na din kukuha ng application form which you need to fill out for every person na include sa petition. As for as i know after lunch tapos na yung seminar..

It's exactly 9 months since hubby filed, wala pa rin yung NOA2 namin.
Kakadepress na, anniv na namin nexth month and there's no way na makakatating ako dun
anytime soon

Mga sis question lang po... usually po gaano katagal ng waiting time pag naging current na yung PRIORITY DATE?

sis, waiting time ba for the interview or the visa?pag interview, u would know ur interview date a month before. For the visa, im not sure yet kase im still waiting for mine. I was interviewed May 17.

Visa usually arrives between 4 to 21 business days, depending on the applicant's location,...
We got our visa then I think, 4 business lang,...
And I decided to pick it up sa courier ko para siguradong ako mismo ang may hawak na,..

Hi po,

Yung mother ko po nakuha ng kanyang US citizen na fiance a week ago. Magpapakasal sila ng July 20 and then after three months daw may green card na si mama.. Then ipepetition daw nila ako.

Question ko is, gaano po katagal yun petition? 23 na po ako, single. Sabi daw nila na matagal kapag lampas na ng 21 pero sabi naman nung iba na may bago daw "immigration laws" na na-shorten daw yun time ng ganyan petition? Nag search ako about dun pero wala akong nakita (or maybe I wasn't searching hard enough).

How true parents cannot petition their married child anymore. They removed that category na daw.

A miracle is a faster alternative. Madami umaasa mag ka miracle pero wala pa.

fiance is fast. 6- 8 months may visa ka na. But please please when you want
to go through that route let it not be for visa purposes only.

To visit your mom once she's here in the US?  Tourist visas are quick, H1b are too.

Oh my? Sana di ito true, eh eto ang category na inaantay namin ma-approve. Question, if may pending petition ang isang Pinoy,tapos balak nyang i-visit ang US Citizen na parent, papayagan ba sya o maging liable pa yung petition para hindi mapayagan?

Chikka lang sakin ng Tita in law ko who petitioned her children. One is about to get married so they
must file a new one under married children. Sabi niya wala na daw ganun. But when I googled it, its
being proposed at the US Senate palang.

According to the US embassy manila, it is not impossible pero it would be very difficult lalo na the petitioner
is your immediate family. Why don't you take the risk? Its just a matter of $160.

@vain_kixie my fiancee is in california, kadadating lang nila last march... kaya pinag uusapan namin kung kaninong route ang mas mabilis kung kay mama or sa kanya.

Is she an American citizen already? Or immigrant/ permanent resident palang? Nonetheless if your goal is to migrate in
the states, faster route parin si GF mo kahit permanent palang siya.

Option 1: (If she's a permanent resident palang) Get married here and ask her to file the petition under the F2A category.
Waiting time for this one ata is 2 years (correct me if im wrong please)

Fiance visas can only be filed by US citizens. Pag US citizen na now. Opt for this route.

@vain_kixie: Sa January pa niya makukuha yun green card niya... Wala bang requirement yan like kelangan magkasama ng 2 years or something?

pag kuha niya ng greencard niya magpakasal kayo dito sa Philippines.

Walang requirement na ganun sa F2A category (spouse of a greencard holder).

Ang fiance visa requires at least nagkita na once in person yung couple.
