^nakita ko rin mismo yan sa website ng Manila Cathedral doon nakalagay yung rate, tapos yung simple wedding rite lang talaga halos by donation ang rate.

Yah same question here. Kaya ba ng 1-2 weeks preparation lang ang wedding rites. Coz I heard you need to get baptismal and confirmation certificate with "for marriage purpose" stamp and this has to be filed 3 mos before your wedding. Parang hirap mag pakasal sa church kung gusto mo ng mabilisan.

Sis, di kaya ng 2 weeks yun kahit wedding rites. You have to get a marriage license first, which is a legal requirement.  And you need 10 working days before you get it.  Then after you get a marriage license, kailangan mo pa mag-attend ng pre-cana, canonical interview, etc.  So at the most, you really need at least 2-3 months to prepare even if gusto mo ng simple wedding.

On top of that, kahit na wedding rite lang, kailangan mo pa rin magpareserve ng date sa church.  Kung weekend ang wedding date nyo, impossible na magpareserve ng date 1-2 weeks before the wedding.

1. Is it ok na walang bible bearer sa entourage? if so, pano yung part sa ceremony in "Handling of the bible" part?

2. Nakakuha na ako from NSO ng birth certificate, my mom said na sinabe nya na for marriage purposes yun. When I got the certificate, walang "for Marriage purposes" na nakasulat/nakatatak sa form.... did I get the right form ba?

hi mga sis. good thing nakita ko tung thread na to, decided na kami sa civil wedding pero nagbago isip ko ng malaman ko na pwede pala tung ganto kasimple na church wedding. ask ko lang kung pwede pa rin kaht pano na mag gown pero simple lang. may veil pa rin ba, may bridal bouquet din ba to. 20 or less lang guests namin. thanks so much

okay lang naman sis kung wala.. may mga naattendan ako na weddings na ring bearer lang. yung iba nga totally walang ento.. yung mga ninong and nilang lang..

ask ko lang kung pwede pa rin kaht pano na mag gown pero simple lang. may veil pa rin ba, may bridal bouquet din ba to. 20 or less lang guests namin. thanks so much

pwedeng pwede kang mag gown sis. kadalasan yung veil e kasama na sa package whether bibili ka ng rtw or magpapatahi ka.

yung bouquet is separate. pwede mo na sa isabay sa flowers supplier mo or pwede ka din mag DIY para maka tipid. hehe! ganun ginawa ko e.

Walang annotation ang birth certificate, so tama lang yung kinuha mong form.

@ReservoirDogs. Oh thank goodness! Meron pa lang ganito and akala ko, hindi ako makaka-meet ng ibang babae na ayaw din ng full-blown church wedding. I'm never alone in GT.

I'm not a wedding person, ayaw ko mag-gown, mag-asikaso ng kung anong stuff, for months to prepare para lang sa isang araw.

Kahit nung nag-18 ako, ayaw ko ng traditional debutante ball.

Sabi ko nga, kung sakali, gusto ko magpirmahan lang, tapos simple dinner with immediate family.

I'll still have to convince the groom kasi gusto nya full-blown. Ayaw ko talaga nun

Mga sis, I need help po. I'm getting married po this coming December 07, 2012 sa San Lorenzo RUiz Chapel Edsa Shrine. 20 or less lang ang plan namen ni Husband-to-be kasi ayoko ng engrandeng kasal. Wala rin kameng entourage. Pwede bang 1 pair lang yung gagawa ng veil, chord at candle? hindi na kame nag-hire ng wedding planner kasi dagdag gastos pa yun. Wala kasi akong idea kung paano yung kasal na walang entourage...

Nakapag inquire ako dati sa malate Church. They allowed the simple wedding with mass tapos 1 pair of Sponsor then 1 pair of secondary sponsor can do like 1 pair pwedeng sya na lahat sa candle, veil at cords. Hindi na kailangan 3 pairs o 6 na tao. Yung sa dress naman kahit pa nga white polo and white pants sa bride basta all white. No need to dress that much.

^ i think ok lang ang ganyan na setup, since legally 2 witnesses lang naman talaga ang kailangan pag kasal.
nung kinasal ang parents ko dati, pero late 1980s pa yun.. 2 principal sponsors lang, at pinsan ni dad at sister ni mama dun sa candle/veil/cord. sa Immaculate Church sa Cubao sila noon kinasal,,

Hi GT sisters! Just got engaged!

Would you know if Caleruega allows non-entourage wedding; just purely wedding rites lang? I touch-based from their Admin however ang labo kasi nila sumagot sa inquiry ko. Itatanong pa daw nila a priest nila kung pwede daw ba yun, pero doable naman daw basta acceptable din sa guest priest namin. meaning to say, they have yet to check with their priest kung allowed un. Hope somebody can answer. Thanks in advance.
