Induction Cooker

^^Mas nakakatipid ako sa induction cooker sis. Halos hindi nabago yung bill ko sa kuryente seriously. To think na araw araw ako nagluluto. I think the main reason is because mas madali yung cooking time sa induction compared sa gasul.

I'm currently using Philips Induction Cooker nabili ko sa SM Home Sale for 2999 with free Pan.Yun lang kasi pwede sa condo ko Kaso manipis yung free pan. . Suggestion ko lang is to invest on a good/makapal na induction cooksets kasi madali talaga maginit sa manipis and prone na mabutas sa init yung free pan.

So far, super happy ako gumamit ng Induction Cooker. Di pa masyadong mainit sa kinatatayuan ko while cooking. I can almost cook any type of meal using it.

Sa cookset naman, nakabili din ako ng 24-26cm sauce pans and fry pans for only 450 each. Westing House ang brand which is subok na matibay. Makapal and non-stick narin. First time ko makaperfect ng pancakes dito and super dali magluto . My mom even loves it. Sanay sa gasul pero nung natuto sa induction, she also wanted to have one at their house. 

Sa kuryente rin matipid naman.

Paano nga pala pag brown-out? Ano ginagamit niyo? Diba bawal sa mga condos and other apartments yung LPG?

Bought the Hanabishi HIC-200 induction cooker from Robinsons Appliances last week for Php2,740. So far, satisfied ako sa efficiency ng pagluluto. Although medyo nagugulat ako when I press "fry" then the sound goes louder. Been using it for a week now. Hopefully it will really help save electricity. Super tagal uminit nung electric stove namin before.

Pag brownout, kain muna sa labas. hehe.

This month lang ako bumili ng Hanabishi induction cooker, yung may free stainless pot. Ambilis nyang magboil ng water! Pati na rin yung pag-prito, 1 second lang kumukulo na mantika! Kaya dapat may laman na syang oil at yung ipprito mo para diretso luto. 

I recommend na yung non-stick pan ang gamitin sa pagpprito kasi madaling makasunog kung yung stainless pot ang gagamitin lalo na kung di matantya agad yung init.

We have single burner induction cooker nabinigay lang sa amin as a gift, more than 2 years na rin but this year lang nag-eerror ng E4 everytime i start cooking.Iiinit lang ng kaunti then error na so i turn it off for a few secs then on ulit siguro mga 4 to 5 times na ganun before gumana ng derecho and by that time luto na rin yung dish na niluluto ko. Di ko alam what does the error means, when i searched online sabi sa voltage daw, i press the button naman pero ganun pa rin. Im torn if i'll buy a new one or new stove na lang since isa na lang din gumagana na burner.

i have philips na touch screen.. okay naman ako sa performance niya. never ako nasunugan ng pagkain. ang problema ko lang pag natalsikan ng tubig yung touch panel niya. sensi kasi. kaya inaadvise ko sa mga friends ko buy sila ng may button.

Yung philips ko kaka one year pa lang nung Feb, pumutok. Di ko pa lang nadadala sa service center. Bumili muna ako hanabishi sana matibay

Will it work if the pans used are smaller than the induction "rings"?  There are 2 rings, a thinner middle and outer thicker ring. My  6" pans do not fit in the outer ring (parang kulang). 

Should the pans really have to  sit on top of the induction rings? 

Pwede mo gamitin yan sis. Hindi naman kelangan sakto sa ring. Ako gumagamit din ng mas maliit or mas malaki sa ring wala naman prob. Kung ano lang naman yung may direct contact sa pan, yun lang ang iinit.

disappointed with my la germania induction stove (touch screen). laging sira yung screen panel, siguro naaabutan ng init ng cookware pero aside from that, nag-oon sya mag isa. so we have no choice but to turn it off sa breaker. disappointing lang kasi 20k ang price, not worth it.

I also have that hanabishi induction cooker with the free pot and flower design. Parang naiingayan ako sa fan nya. Is this normal. Years na ako huli gumamit, yung kyowa with button controls pa, pero hindi ko matandaan if it was this noisy also.

Hello mga sis! Ask ko lang ilang watts nyo siniset yung induction cooker kapag maggigisa lang ng veggies? Kanina kasi first time ko gumamit, natatakot ako baka bigla na lang mabutas yung pot na free ng hanabishi.

160 or porridge ang ginagamit ko na setting when cooking then I just adjust.  Hope this helps

^Yung Chef's Gallery pans nagwowork. Nakalagay sa bottom ng pan. Bring with you a magnet pag bibili ka ng cookware. Pag dumikit yung magnet sa bottom, pwede yun sa induction stove.

I was just about to ask the same question. Yay. I saw Chef's Gallery pans sa Rob Supermarket at nakalaga sa bottom induction. Pero naconfuse ako kasi nakalagay din electric and stove so meaning pwede din siya dun?
If aluminum ang bottom hindi ba pwede? Thanks!

Nakabili kami ng P900 na Induction Heater noong nag-P900 ang LPG.  Ang brand niya...Stark by CDR-King.  Matipid siya sa kuryente at nagwork sa mga old cookware namin.  Tama na magdala ng magnet para malaman kung ano ang pwedeng bilhin, kahit na walang nakalagay na symbol, malalaman mo kung compatible.  Ilang years na yung unit namin at maayos pa rin siyang nago-operate.   Nagagamit siya sa pagluluto, bukod sa pagiinit ng tubig.  Hindi nagbabago ang gamit namin ng kuryente.  Minsan, bumababa pa nga.

Yes yung Chef's Gallery na pwede sa induction, pwede din sa electric stove. Pero yung binili kong induction cooker, naka indicate sa manual na pag sa induction gagamitin yung cookware, sa induction lang dapat. May magagasgas yata sa cooker or something.

Hindi pwede aluminum unless may magnetic layer sa bottom.
