Thinking of getting a potty seat sa next box but not sure yet what brand and kind.

Pero bumili nako ng huggies pull ups with cool alert. Small pack lang muna to try. Kasama sa box na nandon pa. Hehe.

Supernanny's tips on potty training are so practical and useful.  Of all the potty training articles I read, hers seemed the most sensible to me.  I have her book but you can also check her site.  Just google supernanny potty training.

hi fellow mommies, my daughter is now potty trained and preferred potty over diapers, here's how we started....

I bought her yung mumurahing potty trainer lang, yung pinaka simple, no music of flushing sound
Then every morning when she wakes up, we go to potty together, pinapaupo ko siya, kahit no wiwi, basta sit down lang, tapos when i pee, naka open din yung door para alam niya yung ginagawa pag nagwiwiwi
And then no diapers in the morning before bath, para makahinga muna yung skin

This went on, until mamaster niya yung routine, tapos minsan hindi maiiwasan yung accidents like ma-pee siya bigla, don't yell or scold her, just explain na pag nafififeel niya na weewee na, call mommy or daddy or yaya.

And when she successfully peed on her own or peed sa potty, praise her! affirmation is a big help din! She loves it when I say, Good Job or Very good.

Right now, she naps without diapers and prefer the adult potty instead of her own potty trainer

for us parang it came naturally.  Basta simula nung nakakaupo na mag isa si baby i would take her in the morning to the toilet tapos papaupuin ko lang sya tapos nakikita din nya ginagawa ko.

Initially ayaw pa nya na walang diaper tapos one day I just asked her "do you want to remove your diaper" and she said yes.  simula non she has some accidents pero before she turned 3 y/o fully trained na sya.  she is now 3 1/2 and she uses the grown up potty na, I just put a stool para hindi sya mahirapan.

I am potty training my 2.5 year old.#2 lang muna, kasi when we started, hindi naman niya nsasabi pa or narerecognize na she wants to or needs to do #2.So ginawa ko, pinapaupo ko sa potty chair nya.Things were ok na sana, kaso we went on vacation and she didnt even use the travel potty I bought for her to use in the hotel room! 2 weeks kaming ganun so she refused to do it on that potty adaptor.Kainis! kasi nakakapagsabi na siya na she wants to go and do tapos balik na naman sa square 1 when we went back home.I bought the Potette Plus from Amazon-she knows it's potty but she refused to even sit on it kahit ilagay ko sa floor.I'm now looking for something else na travel potty kasi sa ganun kami sumabit the first time.At home we use the Summer Infant Step-by-Step potty which she immediately took to.We dont use the toilet roll holder  nor flap pocket on top, plain and simple chair potty lang pinaka purpose ko.

I've potty trained my daughter nung nag-3 years old siya. Direcho sa CR, wala nang trainer. Dinahan-dahan ko yung pagsuot niya ng regular underwear hanggang sa natuto na siya na wala nang diaper sa bahay kahit sa pagtulog.

Ang challenge ko ngayon is how to deal with traveling habang nasa potty training stage siya. Gusto ko kasing matuto siya magtravel na hindi nakasuot ng diaper. Any tips?

^ Sis, before you go out, mag wiwi muna kayo, paupuin mo sa toilet, tapos everytime na may madadaanan na washroom sa mall, ask mo siya if wiwi siya, or sabihan mo na siya na sa sabihan ka if she feels like peeing

^^sis kami naglong drive from amsterdam to france mga 7 hours yung byahe kaya binaon ko yung potty nya so kung nasa daan kami at kailangan nya magpotty, papaupuin ko lang sya sa potty nya hehe nagwork naman hindi kami nagstop ng potty training kahit nagbakasyon kami

I waited for my toddler to be ready for this milestone. I still followed yung ginagawa ng Nanay ko and it still works.

Every morning tinatanggal na agad namin yung diaper niya and we let him weewee. We bought a cheap potty for him na natatanggal yung mismong bowl niya. So, nadadala namin yun anywhere kasi maliit lang yung bowl. He started before he turned 2 years old. When he turned 1, sinanay na agad namin siya na sa gabi nalang yung diaper. The child will have a hard time adjusting kung naka diaper parin siya when he/she turns 2. Kasi nasanay na siya e. never ko din siya binigyan ng candy or something everytime nag wee-wee siya sa potty. I just praise for for doing a great job.

There were still times that he fails during those times. What I do is sinasabi ko sa kanya na lagyan niya ng mat yung floor. In that way, alam niya yung consequenses in case mag wee wee siya sa floor. It's a little messy but at least he learns. =)

Now that he's turning 4 in 2 weeks, kaya na niya sa cr mismo. Pati poopoo dun narin. He uses the normal toilet bowl na. And he knows that every after wee wee he needs to flush the toilet bowl and wash his hands. =)

@mariadj and kreez, thanks for the tips, we'll try that. Ang concern ko na lang siguro is yung toilets sa malls, yung cleanliness tsaka yung pila. Kawawa naman if she had to wait in line...

Sis, If you're going out for a quick grocery pwedeng hindi na siya mag diaper. As long as mag wee wee siya before kayo umalis. Pero kung more than 2 hours kayo sa labas, kailangan naka diaper siya. Wala akong tiwala sa mga restrooms sa malls. unless may  Lounge yung mall na pupuntahan niyo.

Sis, ako kasi pag matagal, naka pull ups siya, pero pag mag wiwiwee or poop siya, magassabi siya, tapos head kami sa washroom and I have to disinfect the toilet bowl, alcohol and put tissues, adn make sure na hindi mag slide off si bebe

yung 3 year old daughter ko, isang araw bigla na lang natututo magwee and poo sa potty seat niya. that is ginagawa niya lang yung pag wala siyang suot na pangibaba, or walang panty, pag may panty siya, sa panty pa rin ang wee and poo niya...

I have 3 boys. My youngest will soon master potty training, the only problem na lang is that he still makes wiwi during night time. Well, sanay nanaman kami ni hubby na mabasa all the time sa wiwi for more than 6 years hehe.  Kaya I'm happy matatapos na ang phase na ito with our bunso.

In my experience, my kids started their potty trainings from ages 1 1/2 - 3 1/2. At age 2 we do not use diapers anymore only if we'll be travelling far or if there's a need like before leaving hindi nakapag-poop. Before they enter pre-school at age of 3 1/2, they have mastered potty training na.

Kaya I'm happy kasi my bunso's turning 3 na. Matatapos na ang phase na gigising ako dahil basa ang damit ko or sa floor ako matutulog kasi ang daming wiwi spots sa kama. Makakapagpalit na rin ako ng mga kuchon. Hahaha.

im potty training my 2 year old son. we started yesterday and so far wala pang hit.. puro miss. im about to give up na, thinking maybe he's not yet ready.. it's just the two of us sa house so talagang nado-doble yung task ko and worried ako kasi no one is watching over him while i clean up his mess..

i started potty training my 2 y/o daughter last week.... wiwi lang muna.... ayaw nya mag-poop sa potty nya.... so far ok naman... 2-3 misses pa lang.... yung potty nya inilagay ko sa may living room namin... 1st 3 days hindi ko sya nilagyan ng pang-ibaba..... i watched out for cues nun start, then after 3 days nagsasabi na sya ng wiwi or di kaya sya na kusang nag-wiwi sa potty nya.... hindi na kami nagda-diaper pag nasa house and during our morning/afternoon walk.... diaper kami pag mag-nap and sleep sya sa gabi....

before that inintroduce ko na sya sa potty nya... pinapa-upo ko sya every time na mag-cr ako...

My son mastered potty training by 2 y/o. Bumili kami ng potty niya and it helped a lot. We started with cloth diaper then training nappy and finally, pumayag na siya magsuot ng briefs noong nag-start siya ng toddler summer class. Tiyagaan lang sa pag-remind na need niya sa big toilet bowl at hindi na sa potty mag #2 and thankfully, by 3.5 y/o, sa bathroom na siya nag #2
