Closure ng relationship?
« on: November 03, 2011, 12:20:23 pm »
And matuturing ba na formal closure/break-up yung kadalasang nangyayari ngayon, which is through TEXT lang?

Thankies! :)

so that there will be no more WHAT IFS in your life. you can move on and won't be stuck on a state of wondering what went wrong. it will help you motivate to change whatever mistakes committed during your relationships to your future relations. MISTAKES ARE MEANT TO TEACH YOU A LESSON AND NOT FOR REPEATING. In every relationships, closure is really important. no matter how bad your relationship went, it would be definitely be a MUST.

But that was before I had my fiance, kase i was single for five years after ex, imagine parang wala na talagang pag-asa ako.hahaha.
Pero ngayon, things are doing well with my fiance and with my life. Accepted nya anak ko at sya na rin kinikilalang daddy, so no worries. :)

I don't know, but I don't care anymore. :))

i just had my closure lastnight. I was heartbreaking!

Im sure you dont like to hurt people, pero either way naman eh masasaktan sila. They deserve to know the truth, so at least have the courage to break the news and to let her move-on. Kase nga either way me masasaktan ka.

Sa mga iniwan..closure is very much needed, isara na dapat ang mga librong naka bukas pa. Masakit sa simula and who knows hangang kelan ka masasaktan..months, years? But if you have closure, you can cry hard today and wake up tomorrow saying "its a brand new day, a time to move on". Kung ano man ang dahilan ng break up, you deserve to know.

God will always be with us in these times so pray hard and accept the truth..then move on.

My ex bf of more than 5 yrs hava called it quits nung first week of february.
kagabi nag usap kami, sabi nya maguusap kami in right time para maayos din ang paghihiwalay namin.

It takes time talga and darating ang tamang time apra magkausap kayo ng maayos, yung wala ng galit o sama ng loob.

Di bale na lang... thanks but no thanks.

For me, its important. For you to say na officially its over na and yet di rin sya ok kasi its giving you hope na pwede pang ayusin.

I still think closure is overrated. It's not going to change the past, nor will it change the future. I think closure is just a word for summarizing all the "questions" you have about the relationship (eg. the what went wrong, why, when, can i save it) etc. But sometimes, you just don't have answers to any of these questions. Should it stop you from moving on? No. Should you wait for questions to be answered to move on? No.

I think you just have to be honest with yourself. Your self-dignity and respect is no way defined by the relationship, nor should it depend on another person. I think I would personally feel that I let myself down if I keep my hopes up dahil hindi pa naman nagkaroon ng closure.

"Closure" is a new-fangled thing.  A relationship ends, period -- with or without clear goodbyes.  Some people just  cannot find the courage in their hearts to be the one to end it all.  On  the other hand, some can be so dense or stubborn as to not accept the relationship has died.

Yeah sis its very important to have a closure with your partner..but for me its informal to text him/her that its over. . .blah blah blah..you should talk in person..clear things about your problems..etc.. so the two of you will have a peace of mind..its really hard when someone keeps you hanging and waiting for nothing.. :-[

When i was younger, I thought closures are needed. And when I say closure, yun yung mga pag-uusap naming dalawa. But eff closure. No way.

^agree. Sometimes closure can be overrated. Alam mo yun.
