Do you believe that STRESS can lead to health/skin problems?
« on: October 24, 2011, 08:48:08 pm »
and being bitter, unforgiveness which all can also lead to stress....

I do. SKin problems like pimples or acne, hair fall, skin rashes na balik balik etc... And I also think that doing what you dont like example your work or something else which makes u stressed out keeps u worrying too much then eventually you'll end up having these problems. Medicines can help ease out pains or lessen the damage per se but for me once u keep on worrying or stressing out babalik pa rin whate :Dver your skin/health problem may be.

YES, plus more.  Stress or discontent makes you fat too, and well... sabi nila, cancer is just down the road.  haynako.

Be happy.  Even if that means you gotta make others unhappy.   Ay, Sabadong sabado, hindi pa Halloween, nakalabas na horns ko.  Sorry!

Do you know the difference between a Witch and a B1tch?  :D

KAIZ, a Witch has a broom whereas a B1tch has an Attitude.
Nowadays, it is easier to be a B1tch than a Witch, coz the latter at times finds parking space for her broom a problem.  :D

Happy Halloween!

Yes, na-experienced ko ito dahil sa sobrang stress sa work. As in, nagkaroon ako ng allergies. Buti na lang wala sa face. I was admitted sa hospital kasi bukod sa allergies, nagkaroon na rin ako ng pneumonia at bronchial asthma.
At kinonfirm ng doctor ko, na isa sa major cause ng allergies ko ay stress. Ngek at hay!

yes. stress makes the adrenal glands produce more cortisol. cortisol triggers the sebaceous glands which then makes the skin extra oily. and pag oily ang skin, mas prone tayo sa acne and other thingamajigs sa fez.

Naalala ko din nung palapit na board exam namin nun, nagkatrangkaso ako and hirap akong huminga. Nagpunta akong hosp pero wala namang makitang sakit, so I went to the mall and nagpa massage, naging ok na ako after ;)

I know that stress causes cancer...

Everytime I get stressed nagkaka-dandruff ako for some reason.
Whatever I want, I get. If I can't, I don't stop TRYING.

Yes I do believe that stress can lead to health/skin problems. It reflects on the person's outlook if he's/she's stressed out. Just be happy and enjoy life to the fullest! :)

Yes, I believe stress does cause skin and health problems. Late last year, sobrang stressed ako with work and holiday events (with friends and relatives) - ayun, nagkaroon ako ng seborrheic dermatitis and atopic dermatitis (skin asthma). Derma said stress and lack of sleep triggered that flare-up, so I need to learn how to manage stress in a better way daw.  :-[

And just recently, I heard of a batchmate who was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer... she didn't have any vice (didn't smoke/drink), and had a healthy diet kahit noon pa (mostly fruits, veggies and fish); wala ding cancer history ang family nila. Doctor said stress was a big factor daw sa sakit nya  :o

Wow, nakakatakot! How old is your batchmate?  Also anong work nya?

Kaya as much as possible, pag weekend di ako nagwowork to de-stress.

My aunt was diagnosed with Breast Cancer stage 4 in 2004.  Ok lang sana kubg work-related stress kasi madali to de-stress, but one big factor that triggered that disease was the fact na mga 3 ata babae ng tito ko.  She's cancer-free as of now (actually ayaw nya magpacheck ulit) pero itong tito ko nambabae na naman kaya natatakot mom ko na bumalik na naman yung cancer ng tita ko.
