2 months preggy here, 2nd baby.  Need recommendations in Cardinal Santos Medical Center (1st choice), preferably intellicare accredited.. low PF sana mga sis.  We're hoping wag magexceed "sana" sa 100K yung CS.

2nd choice would be  VRP - I already had my initial check up with Dra. Belinda Salazar, she's well-recommended by my colleagues and she's really nice din.. problem is she's not affiliated with Intellicare kapag sa VRP sya... and mas gusto ko sana sa Cardinal Santos manganak, so kung makahanap kami ng OB with lower PF, well and good. My OB is doc Karen Torredes, she has her clinic at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and St Lukes BGC sobrang mahinahon and mabait.. during labor pinapasok pa si hubby to cut the cord.

   If you are looking for the BEST PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR - do not go to a new practitioner. DRA. MARIA ROSARIO LAARNI C. DIAZ    - is practicing her profession since 1986. I would HIGHLY recommend her since even CS (caesarian) kahit 3 AND UP kaya nya. To think na ang CS nakakatakot na kapag pang third na. Kay Dra Laarni Diaz - you will be SAFE. Yan ang pinaka importante sa lahat. Her fee is not that small since her clinic is in medical city - pero I can say na hinde din naman sha ang pinaka most expensive doctor dyan.

Hi, I'm looking to transfer OBs to either one of the below from The Medical City, does any one have current/ recent feedback on them?

1. Dr. Cecilia Vicencio
2. Dr. Geraldine Severino

My old OB is Dr. Agatonica Arcales but we want to transfer already to someone else because she ordered a lot of tests on me which my doctor-relative said seems is way too early (ex. pinagawa nya 6 weeks palang ko when it would have been relevant to do it Week 20-24 pa) plus she is also not engaging, isang tanong isang sagot na mabilisan, sabi nga ni hubby parang quantity over quality sa patients sya.    So takot kami na she's taking advantage of us (pineperahan) while we still go to her since they have commissions daw for every lab test ordered. My last visit I had to do 11 different tests! I'm really hoping to find a better OB who I can be more comfortable with until delivery.

Hi, I'm switching to a new OB, 1st check up ko kay Dra. Nucum this Saturday, excited na ko!  She seems very accommodating, kakatext ko lang sa kanya to inquire, ang bilis nya magreply   Ok naman yung OB ko from Cardinal Santos/Clinica Manila, si Dr. Beng Santiago.. super nice. Nabigyan na nya ko ng quote na 100-200k for cs sa cardinal santos. She said, nasa 50k-60k aabutin yung PF ng team nya, on top ng maternity package ng Cardinal which would be around 56k, and mag-expect din daw ako na may additional charges pa yun na hindi naisama sa package (may namention sya na addl 5k for a certain room).  Nanghihinayang din ako sa budget na massave so i'm switching. Hindi ko din kasi matext sa personal number si dra. santiago, though I haven't asked kng pwede ba yun, di rin kasi sya nagoffer hehe.  Madalas ko din matyempuhan na wala syang clinic, kahit may schedule sya dapat.   Kay Dra. Nucum, mukang welcoming sya, based sa feedback, pwede sya i-text/call anytime.

Update: Had my checkup yesterday (Sunday) with Doc Nucum.  We went to their clinic (yung lying in clinic talaga na 24 hrs) before 10AM, daming patients, pang sampu ako. To sum up, may placenta previa ako, doc prescribed duvadilan for 15 days, to be taken 2x a day, before ako pumasok ng office at bago ako umuwi sa bahay from office.  She also requested the following:

Anti-tetanus shot
Hepa B vaccine
Flu vaccine
CBC (3rd CBC ko na to)
Urinalysis (3rd or 4th ko na, dahil sa UTI ko nung 1st trimester)

Will visit her again in 2 weeks. I'm on my 23rd week as of this writing.  Sabi nya after 2 weeks, weekly na daw consultation ko parang masyado maaga kasi January 26 pa ko due, pero i think dahil sa placenta previa ko yun?  Also asked her kung anong hospital marerecommend nya, dahil ma-c-cs ako for a number of reasons. Sya na rin nag-initiate mag-quote ng rates ng hospital package + PF nila ng team nya. Here mga mommies:

Salve Regina is up to P65k (sobrang taas na daw nung 65k for CS)
VT Maternity Hospital P60 - P70k
Marikina Doctors P60- P80k

To be safe, magprepare na daw kami ng 70k sabi nya. May disclaimer pa sya nyan na over-estimated pa ang quote nya dahil sa possible complications, extended stay, etc.

Hi sis. Yes she is very good maalaga and very thorough nageexplain ng mabuti. I have a complicated pregnancy pero nairaos namin na normal delivery pa din hindi option ni dra CS for last resort lang which we love about her. Our family still visit her in LPDH for our vaccines up to now. Regarding hospital bill nasa 40k din total for both of us ni baby 4 days ako sa hospital kasi meron pa iba procedures na ginawa sa akin.

Forgive me as this is the opposite of a reco but i just wanna share nadin to warn you not to get Dra. Agatonica ARCALES as your OB. Natapat sya as the first OB na napuntahan namin and at 6 weeks preggy she ordered me some 11 tests including yung glucose test na sa 4th MONTH pa dapat gagawin para valid. We replaced her right away after other docs told me mali yung ginawa nya and baka pineperahan kami kasi no one requests that many tests that early e wala naman ako complication at may cut kasi sya sa lahat ng labs na ipapagawa.

We had a 2nd encounter with her for tvs since sya yung nakaduty that time. Once she found out i switched to Dra. Vicencio who is their dept chair, she refused to answer some of my questions abt the scan and said si Dra. Vicencio nalang daw sumagot (may ganon? Sungit ha). Sobrang kebs padin nya walang emotions at all and minadali lang nya kami. She did not even discuss if the size,  heartbeat was normal, etc tahimik lang sya. And she didnt even show me the screen while poking me all over, last 10 secs lang nya hinarap kasi my hubby came in and yun pala active si baby. Then after she just stood up and left without a word. Ang b**** nya ha. Ang pangit pa ng pics namin compared to when we got scanned by another doc Dr. Donna Castillo. Kay Arcales blurry and it looks like she didnt take the time to get a good angle before clicking. Kaya pala walang tao gaano that day sa ultrasound e nung kay Dra. Donna kami natapat 3.5 hrs kami nagwait in line, and our shots there were super clear and mabait pa sya.

Im so glad pinalitan ko na sya!! Now i know why konti lang pasyente nya. Juat had to share this kasi nung naghanap ako reviews wala ako nakita and it wouldve helped me decide sana to not go to her at all.
