Mga sis, yung suppository ba is OTC? Thinking of buying gynepro too. Napansin ko sobrang naging itchy nung gumamit ako ng lactacyd eh (yung liquid na original). Tinatanong ko yung sa suppository kasi nabasa ko dito pang-cleanse naman talaga siya and most sisses eh di naman pina-pap smear ng OB. Kaya i'm considering na lang na bili na lang ng meds if pwede.

Pa check up ka, I am taking oral erythromycin now.  Safe sa pregnant.  Wala na ako kahit anong discharge.

a few years ago, yung sa akin rin before feeling ko sa beach ko nakuha, kasi yun lang naman ang ginawa kong iba. pero ang medication ko suppository and antibiotic. well, tignan mo na lang siguro muna kung gagaling ka sa reseta ng doc mo. kasi sayang naman mag second opinion kung gagaling ka naman. next time ka na lang mag change ng doc.

ang suggestion ko sa mga pupunta sa OB, write your questions in advance. may mga ganyan talagang doc na kulang-kulang magbigay ng info. at huwag mahiya pumunta lalu na kung may smell or itchy kasi dati may nabasa ako ang tagal niyang tiniis tapos parang nagiba na ichura or nangitim na siya kakakamot sa area na yun. yikes lang.

ganun na nga lang siguro gagawin ko. after ng 3rd day (ngayon ko pa lang nainom yung gamot) if may itchiness pa rin hahanap na lang ako ibang OB. pero kahit wala na yung kati babalik pa rin ako sa Ob to check if wala na talaga.

wala naman bawal kainin. pero alam ko bawal munang makipag intercourse hanggang hindi pa magaling

bago gawin ang deed maiging malinis ang genitalia ng male and female. chaka kapag nag wash ang babae dapat front to back pero kapag nagse-search kasi ako sa net mas sinasabi pwedeng excessive washing e. basta ako water to clean myself lang after urinating at once a day lang ang feminine wash. yan ang mga nagwo-work for me.

^Hi sis, for me when I went to my OB waaay back (di ko na maalala kung 2 years ago ba? Hehe), hindi niya rin ako binigyan ng suppository (nag-expect ako dahil din sa thread na to hehe) kasi wala pang sexual activity--yan yung sabi niya. Namention niya sakin yung suppository pero nung tinanong niya ako sabi ko no sexual activity, sabi niya yung ipapahid na lang.

Hope mawala na yan! And tama, go to another OB na lang. If you're from QC/Marikina, I can recommend our OB! Love her hahaha

thank you sis minnie99. nagtataka talaga ko kasi gamot lang binigay nya saken. i keep on telling her na may rashes na ko down there. yung makati and mahapdi at the same time. pero hindi rin nya ko binigyan ng cream.

2nd day ko ngayon mula ng magtake ako ng diflucan.hmm,  kahit dati naman itchiness lang talaga issue ko yung discharge kasi hindi naman ganun katindi. Pero nung nagtake ako ng gamot biglang nagkakaron na ng discharge sa panty ko.

 About sa gamot,  i could say naman na medyo nawala na yung kati sa inner part pero sa pisngi sa labas may kati pa rin and andyan pa rin yung rashes.

Hello po! I'm just a newbie here. I've read all your posts/conversations about yeast infection. Can I ask something po? Can someone like me who still has no experience in sexual intercourse can have yeast infection too? Kasi minsan, when taking a bath, meron sa underwear ko nung like cottage cheese something... yellow greenish.. I thought it was only normal kasi minsan super yellow ng ihi ko.
Is it possible too? though I don't experience itchiness?

Yes sis. It is possible to have yeast infection even you don't or haven't  engage into sexual activities. The cause of this is the disturbance of the normal Flora/bacteria in that private area due to too much heat or moist or over washing, stress and lowered immune system, use of pantyliners or napkins,  non-cotton underwear and not properly rinsed clothing. Coz I've been working with the gynecologist, they usually advise not to use any vaginal washes and during menses just use mild soap, same soap used for your body. Then, that would be fine. 😃😉

Naging suki ako ng YEAST INFECTION until I mastered the reasons bakit ko sya nakukuha.

Sa akin, sa too much eating of sugary food at the same time my pcos ako so my times its also
because of my hormones.

Pag nararamdaman ko na na my weird itching ng nagyayari, what Ill do is check my vajayajy.
Kukuha talaga ako ng mirror then hihiga ako and titignan kong maigi yung changes kay vajayjay.
If i saw cottage cheese looking object in my V I will wash first and try to remove them by hand, pati
sa loob kinukuha ko kasi sila yung cause ng itching. Then ill apply cream ( anti-bacterial ) for first-aid lang.
Then from there bibili na ako ng suppository tablet.

From there ill stop my sugar intake and observe if mawawala sa suppository.

So far effective sya sakin.  At saka mostly ng cases ko is white - slight yellowish cottage cheese lang.

Well hindi ko naman po inaadvice sa inyo na gayahin nyo ko pero since I had it several times napansin ko
na pareparehas yung gamot na pineprescribe.

And I think for these kind of issues, lalo sa first timer ma-experience don't hesitate to see a doctor.
Dahil hindi biro ang yeast infection it can lead to other serious medical issues.

And also one more tip try to buy Feminine wash that has low PH. I used SEBAMED Feminine Intimate wash
with 3.8 PH.

Avoid buying commercially fem wash kasi sobra sa perfume which will make your vajayjay's PH crazy.

So this year lang tatlong beses ako tinamaan ng yeast infection I dont know kung bakit. Pero that lead me to this thread.

kwento ko lang, yung 1st time (oct '15 to march '16) na umattack to tiniis ko yung kati and discharge for  more than 4months kasi on off naman and takot kasi ako magpacheck kung baka ano na to kaso lang nagkakarashes na yung genital area ko kakakamot so napagpacheck ako yeast infection daw according sa OB ko ang ginawa lang nya saken nun ay yun may pinasok syang parang metal then paghila nya may mga cottage cheese like discharge syang nakuha. niresetahan nya lang ako ng fluoconazole 1tab lang for 3 days then if sa 4th day may itching pa take pa raw ako ng another tab. luckily after 1st tab nawala naman kati and discharge.

yung 2nd time naman umattack sya last May 9, '16, magpapcheck sana ko nun sa OB pero sa iba na kasi dissatisfied ako sa unang ob nakukulangan talaga ko. kaso that time walang available na OB kasi nga botohan. eventually nawala yung kati at discharge so pinagsawalang bahala ko na.

then comes the 3rd this June lang, almost a week syang kumati until nagdecide ako yesterday to have it check sa may OB sa festival mall. Chineck nya yung area then sabi nya ipapapsmear nya ko kasi pabalik balik nga.  Tapos niresetahan nya ko ng fluconazole (fungela) to be taken once daily for 3 days. then neo penotran forte L supp. every night for 7 days.

hopefully eto na yun. nakakatakot kasi nabasa ko sa ibang thread pabalik balik daw talaga ito.

After I stopped using panty liners and started using gynepro, never had issues with yeast infection and itching anymore.  Used lactacyd and pH care before pero parang na-iiritate ako.  In terms of pany liners, kahit na madalas ako magpalit, on and off ang itchy feeling.

Try nyo rin mga sis, it might work sa inyo.

I had this during 2nd tri ng pregnancy ko, due to hormones daw sabi ng Ob ko, she prescribed Canesten supporitory, nawala naman agad. I remember sobrang itchy talaga down there kapag may ganito.

Pabalik balik narin ako sa OB ko last year and I was diagnosed with BV although cannot be transmitted naman daw. My OB prescribed supps and antibiotics. Naging okay naman siya pero everytime nagtatapos period ko, may napapansin akong cottage like discharge, Yeast infection. What I did is I bought 3 Cenesten Vag Tabs 200+ each then used it fr 3 consecutive nights. So far, wala na yung discharge ko.

guys i just want to ask if [textspeak!] flagystatine vag suppository at fluconazole 150 mg ay itatake ng every other day saka pati ba [textspeak!] fluconazole tuwing gabi lang ba iinumin? hindi ko kasi makita [textspeak!] reseta na binigay sakin tpos [textspeak!] OB ko naman ay naka leave wala din [textspeak!] secretary nya dun. saka ang ntatandaan ko tag 3 pcs lang ng flagystatin vag suppo. at [textspeak!] fluconazole ang pinabili nya. salamat po 😊

Once you are sure you have yeast infection, you can buy canesten OTC 500grams so one day lang you should be fine na
