Wow, first time to be here. I'm considering microneedling as well but I'm chickened-out by the sight of the needles. Takot kasi ako sa needles haha. but based from what I read, hindi siya masakit. I hope it can help me too. I have some acne scars on my cheeks at nakaka depress lang.

@nicoletta how much naman does skin house charge? I'm considering derma rolling also. Siguro I will call both clinics tomorrow since no one is answering kung how much sa skin wellness. And derma ba talaga gagawa?

@sheer_incognito taga saan ka ba? If ever first time mo rin ba?

@cheenvy feeling ko lang hindi pwede. Maraming hindi pwedeng treatment for pregnant women ha.

Hello DIY dermarolling lang ako, pero ang tagal kona nga hindi nagagamit mejo tinatamad pa ako kasi... Ok naman siguro gamitin kahit may ilang white heads na ako...? Dipa kasi ako nakaka visit uli sa derma hehe...

According to my derma, DIY derma roller does not have that much effect because the needles are
marupok compared to the derma grade.

Skin Wellness charges 22k for 6 sessions as per the nurse I spoke with. Konti lang difference with
Skin House which offers it a more affordable rate. I haven't tried this yet because derma says I
don't really need it. She doesn't push me to get services I don't need.

^ hi sis ewan ko lang pero my first three session of DIY dermarolling was amazing... Effective for me eh... Depende din siguro kasi sa case and the serum you use... Sa tingin ko lang kasi hindi naman siguro ippromote ni derma ang DIY dermarolling hehe...

Sis ilang mm yung length ng needles na gamit mo? Plan ko rin mag DIY. And same question as jinkyv's, anong meds na gamit mo?

Hi mga sis...! Sorry late ang reply... Sa sulit lang ako bumili ng set ko ng dermaroller, yung package na binili ko complete na with creams and serum, i got collagen and anti wrinkle serum
Titanium ang needles niya kaya hindi disposable, pwede siya 6 mosup to 1 year ma stock hindi pwede gamitin ng iba since may needles nga... Hindi pa ulit ako nakakapag diy pero dito nawala yung mga open pores ko kasi yung mga butas sa face...my seller didnt advicena gumamit ng pampamanhid kasi instead na direkta nasa face ang serum kalahati pa ng content mapupunta pa sa cream na pampamanhid...

Gosh, scary to do dermarolling at home. Girls if you can afford naman to do it with a derma, I think that would be a better option. Open wound kasi yun, it could go as far as causing scars or keloid if keloid former ka. You can get STDs if may open wound ka and naging in contact ka with someone who has it kahit na hindi niyo ginagawa yung deed? Just saying....

Lam ko kasi may mga 21k naman for 6 sessions. And derma talaga yung gumagawa.

Nagsusugat naman talaga kahit diy, pero alam ko yung ginagamit sa clinics talaga, mas malalim. Kahit sa international site ng dermaroller may na-mention na difference between diy and dermaroller for doctors.

^yeah katakot nga siguro DIY, disappointed lang din ako sa sevice ng Belo Trinoma for dermarolling package. They didn't tell me what I should really expect kahit na nagtanong naman ako paulitulit. I felt tuloy na di nila sinabi yung totoo na talagang mamamaga face ko etc para magavail ako. Napaabsent tuloy ako ng 2weeks na di ko ineexpect.
Anyway, next time if ever magdermarolling ulit ako, sa ibang clinic na lang. Still scouting kung saan.

Better na nga to look for a different derma. I would still advice medical derma rolling even if diy is readily available. Face natin to, investment din yan if you look good.

Yup delikado din talaga kasi micro needles na yun eh... Maselan din ang pag diy kase kailangan super malinis ang room kung san mo gagawin...

Yup sis summer nagsugat siya... Ang sugat niya yung maliliit din na dots... Tapos super dry yung face ko nun for 1 week din yata... Ok lang naman sakin yung effect atleast alam ko na tama yung ginawa kong procedure kasi ganon naman talaga ang magiging effect nun... Tapos sabi ng seller ko may skin type daw na mableed meron namang daw na hindi... Yung sakin slight na nag bleed lang natakot pa nga mama ko eh hehe... Nakakakilabot lang kapag nagroroll kana sa face pag naririnig mo yung sound na tumutusok nasa face mo like "tuktuktuk" hehe... Yung seller ko sobra naman siyang helpful kaya ok din unlike others mahal na binayad mo ni hindi ka man lang suportahan kulang na kulang pa sa advice... Ingat lang din sa ibang clinic may nabanggit dito sa thread na nag rerecycle ng roller yung iba... Eeuuwwww....

Madami din namang nag d diy noh... Kung may plan lang kayo better kung research kayo maigi... And buo dapat ang decision, kung may doubt wag na lang... Ako kasi tapang tapangan sumubok ng kung ano ano... I always learn from my experience...

Sis preciosa, nakatulong ba dermarolling sayo sa pores? Clear kasi mukha ko except for gigantic nose pores na laging puno ng blackheads.
