^^ of course, di pwedeng di ako mag-isip that she'll take it against me lalo na kung hindi ko pinautang, at kung talagang kailangang kailangan nila ng pera. you never know how these people think. at syempre having that in my mind, kailangan ko maging alerto sa mga ginagawa nya sa paligid ko, hindi ako pwedeng tumunganga lang at ipagpasa-Diyos na lang kung nakikita kong nilalagyan nya ng lason ang pagkain namin or kung nakikita kong naninira sya ng gamit sa bahay.

I would like not to think that way.  I won't deny na these things happen, but as much as possible, gusto kong isipin na hindi ito mangyayari.  I still believe in the good of people na hindi sila gagawa ng kalokohan na ilalason ka or sisirain ang gamit mo.  Kasi naman if lasunin ka, walang magsusweldo sa kanya!  Haha.. Just kidding.. But yes, these things do happen.  Yun lang, I don't like to think of the negative things as much kasi baka sa kakaisip ko, mangyari sa akin.  But yeah - that happens.  Pero kung iisipin mo, kung ganyan - eh di parang nacocontrol ka pala nila diba?

thanks sis. i just read your blog pala. pano ka magkakaron ng sss household employer number? di ba sabay-sabay i-submit yung R1, R1-A and E-1?

To get your SSS employer number - fill out the R-1 form and submit
Then get your maid's SSS number E-1
Kung meron na both, fill up the R-1A and yun na yon.

naguguluhan din ako kung ano ba dapat ang unahin.  pero i think yung contract muna.  tutal naman the benefits will apply pag naka-1 month na sila.  pero same question again, pano ba i-register sa barangay?

That is what I still need to find out sa Barangay.  Kasi for sure ang mga sasagutin nila is - 'Hindi pa po namin alam'.

Naisip ko din to be very specific sa mga gawain e.  Para hindi ka mabalikan diba?  But that would take up a LOT of space sa contract!

Ganito kasi intindi ko parang we should give in to their requests so that they can be nice to us and not harm us.. Tama ba?  I guess to each his own.

I called our Barangay re: registration of Kasambahay:
Sabi ni Barangay secretary - forms are available at their office:
a)  registration form (for the helpers)
b)  contract

Kelangan daw i-fill up yung forms and bring a picture of the kasambahay and voila!  Yun lang..

I made my new help take a day off today to fix her SSS. She went to Cubao, the nearest branch to our place. Pagdating nya duon, she saw that the line was so long she went to the main at Q. Ave thinking it is faster. When she came there, she was told the ID issued by our condo association and her Metrobank ATM. She said those were NOT allowed and was asked to go to NSO and get a copy of her birth certificate. I re-read the requirements online and realized my mistake na required that at least one ID should bear her birthdate. Naiinis lang ako sana she asked already in Cubao instead of going all the way to Q. Ave. Good luck to her if she can get her birth certificate today since late na din siya nakarating sa NSO.

Since wala pa naman siyang 1mo, i dont have to rush to have her registered right? The law naman says that we should only give such benefits after 1 mo of service.

regarding naman sa detailed duties and responsibilities, i-detailed ko yun. ilalagay ko sa excel and print then attach sa contract.  para clear talaga di ba kung ano ang dapat nyang gawin.

^for the employer number, you can register online. You will get a Registration Tracking Number (RTN). Then call the Pag-ibig hotline a day after registering online and you can get your Employer Number. Just provide your RTN. This is the process I did to get my number as well as my kasambahays' numbers.

Be careful lang about detailing all duties and responsibilities kasi baka mag-backfire yan sa yo. other mautak employees wont do anything beyond what is written.

Hindi kelangan ng NSO copy.  Any birth certificate is fine basta may birthdate.  Actually, kahit wala siyang documents dala pwede siyang bigyan ng SSS number.  Kawawa your helper naman!! Diyan ako naaasar sa mga SSS people eh.. Pinapahirapan pa nila yung mga tao..

If your helper has a birth certificate na YET gusto pa niya ng NSO copy, why don't you just call the NSO hotline to request over the phone.  Yun lang you need to pay P350.00 for 1 copy, ang okay doon is that the birth certificate  will be delivered to you directly!!

Well you might need to get your SSS employer number first.  If you already have one, then just register your maid after her 1 month stint with you.  yun lang, better if she has her SSS number narin.. diba?

Dapat magawa mo siya in 1go para hindi na sayang oras.  what you can do is just fill out all the information needed.  leave blank mo nalang yung mga SSS numbers so you can just put it kapag nakuha mo na.

^I have my employer number. But im waiting sana the new help's number para isasabay ko sa registration of the old one. but if it will take an eternity to get hers, I will register first the old one's. to follow na lang yung sa kanya

ang SSS walang online.  Hassle noh?

But let me tell you this - among the three - Pag-Ibig ang favorite ko.  Kasi they answer your queries when you call them sa office.  Ang SSS kasi ang linya nila all the time is 'Pumunta nalang kayo dito sa office'  I mean what the hell for if you can tell me what I need to know over the phone diba??  Pahirapan pa ba tayo??!!

tinapay, i misread your question...i think was filling up the Pagibig forms kaya nalito ako. yes, that was for pagibig.

And I think Pag-Ibig Fund employees are more happy.  Hindi sila masungit!  Lahat matulungin!
Ang problem lang sa pagibig is that - they DON'T have a permanent number.  Imagine mo ako ha member since 1997, I've had like 3 pag-ibig numbers!  hahaha... BUT nevertheless, they send you letters naman and inform you of your new pag-ibig numbers.

Hi girls! I am about to register my son's yaya. Wala pa siyang documents but I know she can be given a number naman. My question is-- since she started working for us March 10th of this year and I understand that if your househelp started before June 4th, you would have to pay for the months rendered before June 4th (plus 3% penalty, I think)--do I start paying for her contributions since March or April? Sa bill kasi sabi after one month of service sila eligible diba?

I have also been backreading this specific thread and I agree with how most of you feel. I mean, I am all for helping them out and at least with this bill, they can demand and fight for their rights especially if umeeffort din naman sila mag-work. Like yung yaya ng son ko, she's very good with him kaya napagpapasensyahan ko yung fact na medyo tamad siya and pag nag-off, sasabihin 2 days lang when she really means 3. I appreciate the fact din na when I was discussing the Kasambahay Law to her, she even offered to have her salary lowered para daw my husband and I can make room for her contributions. Sta. Rosa, Laguna kasi kami so since first class municipality, minimum of 2K lang (she gets 3K). Kaso I realized, with 3K, 100 lang siya a day. If I'll decrease it pa, kawawa naman na.

The only thing I don't like is the inconvenience. Yung SSS ok lang since they have an auto-debit program pero I don't know if Philhealth and Pag-ibig offer the same arrangement. And what happens when they leave? Do I just inform all parties involved na wala na siya sa akin? Kasi yung yaya ko for example, she has been very vocal from the start na 1 year lang siya sa amin. Pag-aaralin daw kasi siya so as early as now, iniisip ko what happens after she leaves kaya during our discussion, I told her na she can still continue making contributions voluntarily so that she can enjoy the benefits later on.

Technically, you SHOULD pay for her benefits a month after she started with you. 

Sis, question - you mean she goes on a 3-day day off every month?

You have to be very careful re: lowering of salary to accommodate the monthly contributions kasi they might say one thing to you and then complain later on.  Alam mo na, biglang kabig?  So to be safe, I suggest you cannot lower the salary..

I don't suggest the auto-debit, alam niyo kung bakit?  Kasi what if the helper leaves?  Can you stop the autodebit kaagad ba?  Hindi ba may process pa yan?

I hate it kapag ganyan, kasi kawawa yung taong pumunta ang nagdala ng id and sumubok kumuha ng SSS number tapos di nila tatanggapin?? Sinayang lang oras ng maid mo.  Sorry, but that really pisses me off with SSS.  Mga g**o talaga.  Alam niya that they can issue an SSS number YET hindi nila ginawa... HAY!!!

^the one in Quezon Ave. Pero my yaya is medyo clueless din. Maybe nung nagtanong tapos sinabi dapat may NSO birth certificate, she didnt ask anymore if puwede her documents and she went straight to NSO. I think this is what happened. she was able to get her SSS number later that day

(side kuwento: yesterday she asked around how to go to Philhealth office in Q. Ave. Yung pinagtinanungan niya told her to ride going to Pasay and go to Philtranco.  Pagdating niya there she couldnt find the office and all she saw were buses. Akala siguro nung pinagtanungan niya Philtranco and not Philhealth   )

sis hunny_ally - di ko alam yung SSS sa qave eh!  hehe..  Yung Philhealth kasi nasa may area ng dating Pantranco (now construction site of the new Fisher Mall) kaya tama yung directions na binigay sa kanya. Mali ata ang understanding ni Yaya  hehe..

Buti nabigyan siya ng SSS kaagad!  Sa NSO nung pumunta siya, nabigyan siya kaagad ng birth certificate?  WOW ha!!

Sharing...re SSS r1-a form, don't use the one they uploaded in their site or if ever make sure you printed it big. My maid who was fixing this was asked to come back cause the form I used was not big enough. Eh I just printed the form the way I downloaded. it was in PDF. If gusto nila ng malaki, change the size then.
