There's always time for everything. You just have to efficiently manage the time that's left for yourself and for your family.

I used to cook everyday, two viands a night-- one for our dinner, and one for lunch ng baby ko and the yaya when I'm in the office. Yung breakfast naman kasi simple lang, I ask the yaya to cook for breakfast. Yung food na niluluto ko, I make sure it lasted until I came back from work. Mahirap, pero that's part of being a mom.

But now, sinuwerte ako sa nakuha kong yaya. She does everything, super sarap pa magluto because she used to work for a coffeeshop in Brunei.

Half para sa ulam namin that day, half I will allow to cool then keep sa fridge para madali na lang magluto kinabukasan.

I have 3 kids..9,4 and 9 months so i need to have a variety of food choices for my kids plus my hubby doesn't eat much if fish and veggies yung pagkain,so imagine my dilemma.

mabuti nalang I have a trusted househelper ko na ilang years na din sa amin.she cooks okey naman lalo na Lutong Pambahay,My 9 years old is nagbabaon sa school, my 4 years old is a picky eater and yung 9 months naman I mostly prepare his meals separately through Food Processor. I make a Weekly Menu/Food Plan which I encode and print then 3 copies for the kitchen, my own copy and isa para sa room sa mga kids. Kids usually nagrereklamo on what food that is prepared for them (especially if veggies) kaya the yaya's will just tell them "oh, tignan nyo yung listang ginawa ng mommy nyo,yan daw ang kakainin nyo"so, the kids will just oblige knowing the order is from me, hehe

and mga twice 3-4/week ako nagluluto lalo na if the kids will request something, like Pasta,I make it to a point to make a pasta atleast once a week para mabaon din ni 9 years old sa school, and we have sundays as eat out or deliver day.

I forgot to mention, I work too. We have a business so sidekick ako ni hubby sa office kaya minsan puyat nadin pag-uwi, but I will get all the possible help that I will need.A Happy wife & mom makes a happy home.

hello mga sis.  i find time to cook.  no choice kasi pag nasa abroad ka. ang technique ko, cook food during weekends, store in small containers then freeze them. tapos i re-heat na lang sa microwave during weekdays.

Kaka-start ko lang magluto-luto, nagpa-practice palang. Hehe. I work the night shift, so pagka-out, diretso nako sa market. Around 8am, tapos nako mag luto (for lunch and dinner na yun ni baby and yaya). Yung breakfast, si yaya na ang bahala. Either hotdog, fried egg, corned beef, or pandesal.

Since may new baby kami, hirap imanage ang time ko. My routine now is pagkagaling sa work daan sa supermarket buy ng iluluto then cook ng dinner pag tulog na si baby, pero ang nangyayari ngayon super dami na nga niluluto ko sa gabi para may lunch pa sila the next day kasi walang magluluto sa kanila dahil nasa work ako. Hay!

Back then when I'm still working, before i go to work and pagkauwi, ako pa din nagluluto ng food. Maselan kasi asawa ko sa ulam, and he wants his food na masarap talaga and kung among recipe gusto nya. Well sob rang hirap kasi pagod na din ako from work and I do the cooking pa. I could imagine kung meron na..

Like pag ininit mo siya, then may left over pa, lalagay ulit sa ref?

When i was still pregnant i was able to cook dinner almost everyday for me & hubby every after work, chagaan lang talaga kahit medyo pagod. Kasi i really derive pleasure from cooking for my loved ones and seeing na nasasarapan sila.

Pero now that we have a baby and im back to work on monday mukhang di ko na kakayanin kasi i still
Breastfeed so mega puyatan and our yaya is stay out so kami or ako din nagaalaaga sa baby ko pag gabi.

^^divide the food into portions that are good enough for 1meal that way walang leftovers.

Some ulams that are perfect for freezing:

Adobo / pata Tim
Nilaga (add the vegetables when you're reheating the food)
Caldereta
Menudo
Pasta dishes like lasagna
Meat loaf

Barbecued and fried items are good too. You can reheat this in the toaster or oven. Just have a pack of frozen veggies or the likes that you can easily turn into buttered dish.

No time to cook despite the fact that I work from home. But during weekends or rare nights, I see to it that I'm the one who cooks.

Although di pa ko mommy, sa sobrang busy I still have to manage a household for two without help since were abroad. What I do, I freeze-pack pre-cut onion, garlic and ginger, for me kasi ito yung time-consuming at nakakatamad na part ng pagluluto. I freeze mushrooms too para pansahog sa soups and pasta.

I used to cook during weekends too for the week kaso nagrereklamo si hubby na nakita na daw niya na yung ulam so I end up cooking fried something pa din so I stopped na lang.
