Kahit I am working from Monday to Saturday and umaalis ako ng bahay ng pass 7 am and usually nakakarating na ako ng bahay from work ng 7 pm, I make it sure na nakakapagluto pa din ako ng paborito at gusto nilang ulam. Paminsan, I cook dishes na good for two dinners na kasi lahat kami halos breakfast and dinner lang kumakain sa bahay.. ^_^

work at home mom ako....almost wala na talagang time but i have to cook kasi ayaw naman ng anak ko ng binibili lang sa labas, di daw namin alam kung pano niluto yun kung anong tubig ginamit  or malinis bang magluto yung tindera.....so habang di gaanong busy sa work, punta sa kusina at mag-prepare ng lulutuin.....laging ganun, in between ng time ng work nagluluto.....

I work a ten hour shift so minsan pag uwi sa bahay pagod na magluto. Most of the time, kumakain na lang kami sa labas or nagpapadeliver ng pagkain sa house.

The wife and I both work. She cooks and I cook, lately I am the cook. Nakaka motivate kapag nadinig ko commnet ng anak ko, Dad this is so good  8). Tapos they will have second and third serving. The kids clean up the dinner table after dinner.

Yes, but I dont cook all the time. My slow cooker is my best friend :) now esp that I will be working at home starting next year January.. I would plan a weekly list and put ingredients in a ziplock freezer bag then just put it in the crockpot. I learned that from flylady.

I am about to be a mom palang, and since I got pregnant, I haven't been cooking.  Since we have a new helper, just started to teach her how to cook.  I hope she learns fast so I don't have to go home early to help her out.

It's getting expensive already when we eat outside kasi hubby likes beef and we normally end up eating steak. So yan, told the helper we are eating at home and she should learn how to cook for the 3 of us.

I am a working mom and I still have time to cook meals after work. However, I live in Canada. The lifestyle here is way easier than working moms in the Philippines. So, I don't really have an excuse not to serve home-cooked meals.

I've been consistently taking time to cook after work. No matter how tired I am, nakakawala ng pagod once we finish eating and hear hubby say na he's so full and madami sya nakain. It helps that my work starts at 6am and ends at 3pm so medyo may konting time pa magpahinga before I do my stuff in the kitchen. It's also practical and I we can have healthier food compared to what's easily available (fast food, etc.).

no, esp now that we're empty-nesters.  noong araw na school age pa ang kids namin, every morning i cook breakfast for them, kasi important sa akin that kids have a hearty breakfast, God knows what they eat for lunch at school, basic Pinoy fare lang naman of rice/fried rice with eggs and some kind of meat (bacon, ham, saugsage, leftover steak).

ngayon with just the 2 of us and we both work,  hindi na, bahala na siya sa dinner niya kasi hindi ako kumakain ng dinner (perennial dieter),  naked green machine lang.
and between the 2 of us,  he's the cook,  i don't know how to cook yung typical dishes of nilaga, sinigang, adobo, afritada, prito prito lang ang alam ko.  masarap siya magluto, taga kain lang ako, he he he.  but but no rice pa rin.

Yes, i still have time to cook. The advantages are cooking is matipid, healthier and my hubby and kid appreciate it vey much esp if i cooked sinigang which my daughter's favorite. Adobo and nilagang baka naman are my hubby's fave when im cooking.

I personally prepare my daughter's daily school snacks so to save time during the weekdays, I do advance preps on the weekend. I prepare the pasta sauce, I saute the corn and carrots, prep the pancake mix and store in a squeeze bottle, marinade chicken or whatever I plan to bring. I also have a menu plan for my daughter so I won't have to waste time in the morning deciding what to give her. I also bring food everytime I have training classes so that I can take advantage of my lunchbreak to just sit down. It's so difficult to stand and walk in heels all day when I train people.

It helps if you teach the kids to prepare their own lunch. My 9-year old can do his own.

Yes, during weekends.
Nagprepare din ako ng menu for the whole week para may guide yung kasambahay namin.
Nag-marinade na rin ako ng pork and chicken para iluluto na lang during weekdays.

I also ask my son to "help" in preparation.  Para early on, may idea na sya how it is in the kitchen. :)

since nag-start mag solid food ang baby ko, i make sure i have time to cook.
around 5pm nasa bahay na ako, bago ako umuwi iniisip ko na kung ano lulutin. usually may sabaw ang niluluto ko for him, then itatabi na lang yung iba para may food sya the next day for breakfast and lunch.
limited din naluluto ko for him since G6PD deficient siya, so bawal ang soy. If I'm craving for adobo, magluluto pa ko separate food for him.
