Yes. When I went back to work, we had our Yaya prepare our nightly dinners - ayun, puro heavily breaded with magic sarap pork chops ang ulam. So, to prevent a repeat, ako na ang tagaluto ng dinner. Since hubby and I come home late during weekdays, the only feasible solution was for me to cook everything on Sunday. So I choose the dishes that will stay long in the refrigerator - e.g. adobo, pork kinamatisan that hunny_ally posted in one of the threads (she deserves the credit, pork with tausi). I cook about a kilo of each, place every half kilo in a container, refrigerate. Et voila! ulam from Monday to Friday na.  ;D Iinitin na lang before serving  ;D

if there's one thing na di ko pinababayaan na chore, that's cooking. ewan ko kung obsessed cook lang ba ako or talagang super concern lang ako sa kakainin namin.

here's what i do. pag mallate ako, i have my kasambahay prepare all the ingredients. itetext ko lahat sa kanya kung ano ang hihiwain, it-thaw, etc. pagdating ko, iluluto ko na lang. minsan naman, i cook at night or during my free time. ir-ref na lang para initin na lang nila. sometimes, i allow the yaya to fry fish, chicken and pork. masarap sya magluto ng fried. tsaka i trust her naman na maayos ang pagkaluo pag ganun lang ka-simple.

pag talagang walang way na makapagluto ako, i'd rather have their food delivered. order na lang sila, upon my advice.

Yes. I make sure that I find ways to cook kahit working mom. I'm working dayshift so I wake up 3 hours before my shift so I could cook breakfast and lunch for my hubby and then for my packed lunch as well. Then after work, I also cook the dinner for my family. Since baby pa lang ang daughter ko it is just enough for me and my husband plus yung Hipag and Boyfie nya. I enjoy cooking more now that I am a mom. ;D

What helps din kasi mga sis yung i-freeze nyo yung ibang food or yung i-prepare ninyo na para ready to eat na when you plan to eat it na.

Pagweekends, dun ako ngcocook ng madami. I make the palamn na for the lumpia, either pang shanghai or vege lumpia, then I freeze the palaman and then just cook it pag yun na yung menu ko in the coming week. I also make babad and boil narin beans, liek red beans for chili beans, and always may monggo.. Then I make timpla half of the cooked monggo for bean burgers (yes! try ninyo mga sis, very healthy :) and the other half batch ng cooked monggo for either ginisang monggo or spanish style with tomato sauce basta, for ginisa siya, yun naman i just put it in the ref. yung red beans naman I cook it narin as chili beans if im not tamad, then freeze. If tamad, i freeze it nalang as is - cooked of course.

Mga ganun sis, pwede ninyong gawin during your dayooffs para less stress narin pagworking days kasi easy to reheat nalang or final cook it  ;)

I don't have time and I don't cook much either. We live with our mom and she does the cooking or our helper does. I cook my own food which I bring to work sometimes since I'm trying to eat healthy and count my calorie intake. Most of the time, I prepare and cook my daughter's food but calibrated naman kame ni mama when it comes to Zoe's food so minsan sila na din ang nagccook for her.

I cook on weekends.  I actually find cooking therapeutic.  Of course, I delegate the slicing, chopping, etc. to the maid.  When I have new recipes, I even invite my friends over for lunch or dinner so that they can get to try them.  I like feeding my family and friends.

On weekdays, I leave the cooking to the maids.  I plan the menu and I give them instructions how to prepare the meal as we like it.  I make it a point to demonstrate to the maids how to cook a certain meal at least once.

I enjoy shopping for ingredients and learning how to cook dishes I've never done before.

ako kasi i am not yet a mom. but yes i can still cook. i go to work at 7am. at 4pm i'm out already. i arrive home at 5pm, will prepare everything, thaw the meat or marinate them. will do treadmill for 45 minutes to an hour then pagkatapos kong tumakbo, i shower. after shower, i cook na the dinner. my husband kasi is in night shift. so we usually have our dinner ng mga 7:30pm or 8pm. after washing the disher, i watch tv or read book basta by 9pm or 10pm sleep na ako.

my mom is a supermom. she cooks every dinner. she works full time pa  ha. she wakes up very early in the morning, magluluto then maglalaba then goes to work. tapos pag uwi niya after work, magluluto pa siya ng dinner.

As a working mom before nung nasa pinas pa kami, what was really helpful for me even now is make a four week menu. Organize however you want it. Kung palagi ka nang nagluluto you will know whats easy to whip up. I do the groceries goid for a week na yun acording to my menu. Produce lang yung binibili ko 2-3x within the week. I freeze my meats, including fish by meal. This helps with budget too. I keep it really simple. I buy lechon manok at least 2x a month din pag madalian. I usually just have meat+veggies per meal. I had help din so she cooks if im tired. Keeping it simple too makes it easier for the help.
