200/head/way daw kapag van ang kalibo-caticlan vv. Ang fees sa jetty port alam ko mga nasa 150/head/way then 100/way tricycle going to resort.

Sisses if your on budget... I'll recommend Lacarmela de Boracay check nyo lang madalas sila magpromo ng additional one [textspeak!] when you booked 2nyts.. Kmi ni bf pay only 3800 for 4D/N stay with buffet breakfast for 2days..

thanks for recommending Sur sis. at least mas mahaba list na ipinakita ko kay bf on possible accommodation. He was so-so with Sur. fear niya is baka madaming tao na nag na night life. I told him hindi naman siguro since Station 1 ito.

Right now, we're stuck with:

Sur

Mas boring ang area (meaning wala tao masyado, mas gusto niya. Naimpress nga siya sa review sa Two seasons dahil nag rant yung reviewer na boring yung lugar due to the lack of people)

Kung may budget nga lang for Discovery Shores. Ano kaya ang closest resort to getting a feel of Discovery Shores aside from Shangri La? Meron ba sa list above?

pareho tyo ng hinahanap ah. but in our case it's because we're bringing kids. ang taas pa din ng bigay sa kin ng agent kahit pa local rate sa discovery shores so we're eyeing astoria, maliit nga lang pool saka walang benches in front of the beach so i guess we can use our towels to lounge na lang. thanks for sharing your list, i'll check them too. (although syempre iba talaga pag shangri-la or discovery shores, di mo pa nare-realize na need mo ng towel, inooffer na daw sa 'yo.)

Malapit lang din ang Sur and Two Seasons sa Discoery. Tahimik nga sa area na ito. Fits my preference pag relax mode lang. Malayo na ito sa maingay.

Not sure kung may Discorvery-like or Shangrila-like pang resorts na iba. Pero some resorts on the higher end taht i know are Regency and Astoria. Pero nasa maingay na areas na ito...

hi girls! my bf and i went to bora last oct3-6 to celebrate his 30th bday. we stayed @ bluewaves beach house, the place was very very nice and super tahimik mejo dulo na kase sya. bluewaves is located in station 1 between discovery and ambassador beachfront sya, we stayed there for 4d/3n since lean season the owner gave us a discount so i paid 7.2k for superior room (2.4k/night).
i paid 3500 for island hopping+helmet diving 2x kme nghelmet diving kase ncorrupt un memory card nun una so pinaulet after mgisland hopping), 2k for atv to mt.luho. yoko na mgcompute kung magkano nagastos namen kase masakit sa bulsa ska sa ulo super must try jonah's shake! sana meron clang branch dito sa manila
bora is a very nice place to stay kaso mahal lahat lol pera pera labanan eh, scary dn pg high tide nawawala yung shore sa gabi haha. all in all, i really had fun with my stay in bora

Here is my suggested itinerary after sunset.  Dinner muna kayo in one of the restaurants at D'Mall (e.g., Aria, Ole, Smoke, etc.).  You may also try Hawaiian BBQ (near the havaianas store) or True Food (indian food) bandang station 2.  Pero, if you're into grilled seafood or buffet, nagkalat yan dun so mag-try na lang kayo ng kahit ano dun.

And then, you can go wall climbing at D'Mall like mga 9-ish.  If you are into partying, you can try Summer Place (station 2), Club Paraw and Guilly's Island (station 1) or the parties at Jungle Bar (Bulabog beach- still need to take the tricycle).  Party starts at around 11 or 12mn and can last until morning.  Pero if you are into chill-out mood lang, you can try Pat's Creek Bar or Bom Bom Bar (both are just near red coconut).

Hi sis ang station 1 more on private Hotel mas tahimik mas malayo ang hotel sa shore though front beach naman sila kumbaga mas malapad ang  shore line without water nila. sa Station 2 malapit sa D' mall. kung mahilig ka sa night life stay in station 2 andyan lahat ang mga kainan esp at night time nag seset up sila ng mga buffet sa harapan ng mga hotel.  Sa station 3 eto before hindi pa maraming mga hotel when I was there  2006 parang mga   local dun nagpapa rent sila ng mga  small apartment style for accomodation. dito din maraming nag titinda   ng mga souvenir na mas cheaper kesa sa d mall or sa market nila. Pero right now nagiging  develop na ang station 3 marami na rin mga hotel just like in station 1. all I can say  sa station 1 ma fine ang sand kesa sa station 3.

Let me know if you need help.  Super love ko ang boracay at gusto ko talaga i-share with others the fun things to do there.  Don't miss to try out Jonah's shake.  People go there around sunset time (station 1 siya) tapos hanapin mo yung chori burger/ihaw-ihaw stand near Jonah's (Manz BBQ).  Great combination yun.

^Bago dumating ng willy's rock (yung may grotto ni Mama Mary).  Pag umabot ka ng willy's rock, ibig sabihin nalagpasan mo na yung jonah's. After pa kasi sya ng obama grill and guilly's island.

just got back from our perfect boracay adventure. tamang-tama ang alis namin, kasi alis na rin ni Ramon sa Visayas area. di ko nakita yung baha, pero sabi nung tricycle driver, sa talipapa lang daw yun.

ang mahal ng tricycle fare, so mas maganda talaga kung nasa white beach area un resort/hotel niyo. kami kasi, we stayed sa Boracay Gems in Bulabog beach. so everyday exercise kami sa kakalakad, pro pag madilim na, trike na.

hindi ko na-try yung choriburger. yung jonah's para saken, masydong overrated. too expensive, tas wala naman masyadong ka-wow wow un lasa.

ang kulit din nung mga agent/sales person from Astoria. yep, true na may free lunch/dinner buffet kaso i-sasales talk ka naman for more than an hour. kung di ka interested kumuha ng membership sa Astoria, let go of the free buffet. hehe

^ tama ka jan about astoria, don't be fooled with their free lunch or dinner buffet coz you'll pay them naman with your time.  You'll be asked to listen to their 90-min long presentation.  Kaloka.

Ako naman talaga, Jonah's shake is love.  Might be pricey (ave of around 110) but for me, it's worth it especially their melon milk shake and their banana choco peanut shake.  Siguro for 1st timers, it's still worth to try it at least once.
