Naalala ko nung Ondoy nasa boracay kami. Super lakas ng hangin at waves pero swimming at picture picture pa din kami...

can anyone recommend an accommodation?
preferences: white sand, beachfront, private area

we looked at Nami Private Villas (Diniwid) kaso parang mapuno yung sa veranda (although may jacuzzi sa balcony kaya medyo na offset na yung tree problem) tas may review na may algae daw sa shore (1 out of 120ish reviews).

so i thought of asking you guys for your inputs. thanks

p.s. maganda ba talaga sa friday's? we're a bit hesitant to book there kasi baka matao...

thanks for recommending Sur sis. at least mas mahaba list na ipinakita ko kay bf on possible accommodation. He was so-so with Sur. fear niya is baka madaming tao na nag na night life. I told him hindi naman siguro since Station 1 ito.

Right now, we're stuck with:

Nami
Two Seasons
Ambassador
Sur

Mas boring ang area (meaning wala tao masyado, mas gusto niya. Naimpress nga siya sa review sa Two seasons dahil nag rant yung reviewer na boring yung lugar due to the lack of people)

Kung may budget nga lang for Discovery Shores. Ano kaya ang closest resort to getting a feel of Discovery Shores aside from Shangri La? Meron ba sa list above?

^ Magkatabi lang mismo ang Sur at Two Seasons. Masarap ang food sa Two Seasons...

Malapit lang din ang Sur and Two Seasons sa Discoery. Tahimik nga sa area na ito. Fits my preference pag relax mode lang. Malayo na ito sa maingay.

Not sure kung may Discorvery-like or Shangrila-like pang resorts na iba. Pero some resorts on the higher end taht i know are Regency and Astoria. Pero nasa maingay na areas na ito...

we are planning to go to bora end of may 2012. will bring our 6yo daughter. ayaw sana namin ng maingay (kasi hindi kid friendly

) pero dapat malapit lang sa beach. TIA!

Hay... kaya ayoko pumunta sa boracay kapag lean season. After namin ma experience yung kay ondoy. Sobrang baha na yung mga dadaanan namin kaya hinde na kami nakapunta ng airport tapos hinde pala na cancelled yung flight namin kaya ang ending rebook kami with additional charges. Imbes na mapamura kami sa airfare naging x3 ang price namin. Naka mind set lang talaga kami na magboboracay kaya kahit si ondoy hinde kami napigilan hehe...

They have really nice cabanas too where you can leave your stuff when you go swimming. Safe pa.
Beside Two Seasons ito. And near Residencia and Discovery Shores.
