anyone tried panasonic stand mixer or hand mixer? I'm thinking of getting this one since the stand mixer only costs php2725 at ansons vs the black & decker hand mixer 250w at SM for php3000.

also better ba na auto-rotating bowl for stand mixer? ano yung benefits for auto rotating bowl?

^i have a black&decker hand/stand mixer with rotating bowl. mas ok ito siyempre kesa dun sa hand/stand mixer na hindi auto-rotating bowl.

^^before i settle with kitchenaid, pinag iisipan ko din yang moulinex. also, yung bosch and kenwood. heavy duty (or maybe, semi lang) stand mixers na mas mura sa kitchenaid. nagbabasa din ako ng reviews ng mga yan, at naaatat na nga ako bumili. pero kitchenaid is kitchenaid, what every baker wants/needs (well, almost, if not all).

^thanks po. yun pala yun
i'm enticed to buy kitchenaid na din dahil sa kababasa, though ang kinakatakot ko is baka tamarin lang ako sa huli sa pagbake. sa susunod nalang if talagang mapanindigan ko.

actually i called up fair n square emporium to inquire their kitchenaid artisan and it costs below 20k. does SM sell this particular model at 25k?

I don't have any experience in baking when I started two years ago. As in zero. So I only bought a black & decker mixer that works like a hand mixer with a stand thus it can also work as a stand mixer. It's relatively cheaper compared to kitchenaid but it works good. Actually when I started, I didn't have a mixer then. Now when I'm lazy to set-up the mixer I just do everything by hand including the creaming of the butter and sugar as well as whipping the cream. Muscle power! Tinamad akong mag-set up pero may lakas akong mag-whip. Parang walang logic. :D

So my advice is to start with a cheap but quality performing mixer. If you will just bake for your family then a cheap mixer  can do the task. Think of the ROI.  In the first place, if you want to start your own baking business, then enrolling in a baking class is recommended. Baking is not all about the mixer. It is in the quality of the ingredients and how diligently you follow every step. But if you have the money to splurge then by all means buy a kitchenaid. Hahahaha.

Hello! I would like to ask for some advice sana regarding the stand mixers. Bago pa lang ako nag aaral mag bake and if ever maging successful pwede rin siguro maging sideline. Any suggestions for a quality stand mixer within the budget of 3-5k? And kung saan magandang bumili na mas mura. Thank you!  ;)

With my mixer, nakapagbake na ako ng iba't ibang version ng chocolate cakes, carrot cake, blackforest, cheese cupcakes, brownies, red velvet cupcakes, chicago cheesecake, fruit pie, choco chips cookies, and rolled oats cookies. FYI, zero po experience ko sa baking to start with. As in kahit sa school hindi ako nakapagbake.

I own a 5qt. Heavy Duty Kitchen Aid Mixer and I'm so satisfied with it. It's almost 6years now and working like it's brand new. It only has one minor repair, wear and tear of the plastic on the lever.

I have an Imarflex auto rotating mixer way back home pero never ko sya ginamit paggawa ng dough.

Then yesterday, I have managed to purchase a kitchenAid Pro 6 quartz in a buy and sell site here in Doha for QAR500 or P6,000 (HOORAY!!!!)  ;D ;D ;D

It is 110v and kailangan pa sya I-convert into 220v. How much it will cost? ;D
