^Wow! Talaga one week na lang ang processing ngayon sa French embassy? Before it used to be 3 weeks or 15 working days. I'm glad naman mabilis na ngayon. I'll be applying again later this year for our Euro trip.

^My friends applied for tourist visas to go to my wedding in September last June 27 and got their visas July 4 :) Bilis diba! Last year it wasn't like that.

Ironically enough, my visa has yet to be released kasi it's a different one for getting married lang there. Grrr! Stress!

It's true, the French embassy processes tourist visa applications in 1 week.
Applied for mine today, will pick it up next Wednesday.

madali ba sa czech/ spanish embassy? we've been issued visas from the ff countries: US, australia, paris, di naman kami sana mahirapan :S

@jenny_syngkit, thank you so much for the information!

I called the number posted in the Italian Embassy website, 845-9200
Here's the list of requirements given to me:
1.   Application form (3 pages)
2.   1 pc passport size pic with white background OR 2x2 pic colored and ears should be visible
3.   Photo and orig - passport with 9 months validity during the travel period
4.   Photocopy 1st and last page of passport
5.   Photocopy of visa issued by other countries and the immigration stamp on your passport
6.   Orig and photocopy of bank cert
7.   Cert of employment orig and photocopy
8.   Photocopy of ITR
9.   Photocopy of bank passbook (if you have one)
10.   Photocopy of credit card (front) and billing statement
11.   Photocopy of accredited travel health insurance with 15 days allowance after the travel period
12.   Photocopy of flight booking or travel itinerary
13.   Photocopy of hotel reservations
14.   PhP 4095 Visa fee in the form of manager’ check , payable to PIASI

I will prepare the docs first then call PIASI call center for document pick up. Minimum of 10 working days daw ang wait time before receiving the passport with visa.

Napansin ko lang, unlike the US visa application requirements, hindi kasama sa list ang mga NSO birth and marriage certificates 'no?

^actually sis pwede mo naman isama if you think it'll help your application. like when my mom and brother applied, sinama ko yung birth cert ng brother ko and marriage cert ng mom ko.

A week after pick-up pala, tumawag yung embassy to request for additional document -- notarized affidavit of consent from my Dad kase hindi siya kasama and minor pa yung brother ko.

Found my notes pala from before:
- Prepare a checklist (2 copies) of the documents you submitted. With disclaimer saying: Incomplete requirements maybe grounds for refusal of my application. Then your signature.
- Place documents in a long brown envelope and label outside:
     Italian Embassy Visa Application Center
     Tourist Visa
     Name
     Passport Number
     Reference Number
- prepare PHP430 for the courier

Hi mga sis,

I have been bactracking the posts on this thread. My bf is German and he's inviting me to spend Christmas with him and his family. He's still a student so his mum will be the one to make the invitation. She will also be my "sponsor." I have work here sa pinas din naman. Then one of my mum's friends told me na mas malaki daw chances of getting approved if may show money ako. I have a bank account but sadly, di naman kalakihan ang laman. I read somewhere that credit cards can be considered as show money. The thing is, supplementary cardholder ako ng mum ko. But I'm the one paying the credit card bills. OK na ba yun as supporting documents?

Hope you ladies can help. :)

^sis for credit cards you still need to show the credit card billing statements. And of course the billing statement will show na hindi ikaw ang primary kundi si mother mo. I don't think that supporting document will work in your favor.

Hello everyone! What are the chances that my visa application will be approved if my current profile is:

- Schengen visa application for Family Visit in Denmark. My sister holds Phil passport and Residence Permit in Dk. She's married to a Danish citizen. They will sponsor my trip - all expenses to be shouldered by them. Will be staying in their house in Dk.

- I am single, unemployed (Last employment was Jan 2012), no bank cert to show/submit to the embassy.

- My current Phil passport has a number of stamps (HK, Macau, SG, Bkk only) while my first passport has MY and SG stamps.

- I will be going to Dk as tourist only. I intend to go back here in Manila to (find) work after the family visit in Dk. Prob is, I do not know how else to prove this other than the return stamps in my passports.

- My interview at the embassy is on Monday already. *crossing fingers*

Thanks.

will be having our honeymoon in malta, fiance is a british citizen so i will be applying alone. should i show an affidavit of support or can i stand alone? i have enough bank documents to prove that i can shoulder the cost of the trip.

also, does the malta embassy process visa applications? i know you course it through the italian embassy but i found an address so now i am confused.

Hi mga sis,

I'm applying for Schngen visa (via Norwegian Embassy but going to Denmark).  My sister and her husband are my sponsors.  As proof that my sister and I are actually sisters, I need to present my Birth Certificate and her Birth Certificate. I already got copies of our authenticated BCs from NSO. However, mine has a typo error: my mother's maiden middle initial is "S" instead of "G". My sister's Birth Cert has the correct middle initial.  Will this pose a big problem on my visa application?  All other pertinent info in my sister's and my BCs are the same except for the middle initial.

^if everything else is the same, then just say that it's a typo error in case they notice it. anyway the docs are authenticated so there's no way they can think that you falsified them.

better to show them both. in my case, I showed all my bank docs but since I am staying at my mom's they asked for the invitation letter although my mom did not place a security fund in the bank for my visit. they asked my why no fund was issued, I said I will support myself during my stay and that I'll just stay at my mom's residence since it would be impractical if I get a hotel.
