Just gave birth last saturday at slmc qc and since it's my 2nd child and ob suggested it kahit i like the private room, i availed the nsd we care package semi private for 58k. Ob was right na parang private na din kasi wala akong ka share sa room.
-May cr w/ shower and a couch for bantay.
-with meals din bfast, lunch, dinner. Ok daw sabi ni yaya sya kasi kumain since hubby brought me food.
-included na bcg, hepa, hearing test and nb screening
-baby was w/ me right from delivery. Roomed in sya but the nurses were always there to assist us.
-di mahirap magtawag ng nurse, housekeeping kasi may intercon
-baby was placed in a bassinet
-di ko na gaano maalala laman ng baby kit basta may thermometer and tie sides. Dami akong dalang set naman ng clothes and diapers placed in a ziplock per set and labeled. Di lahat nagamit.
-2 day stay at a semi private (2 beds) pero naging solo ko room.
-hospital kit may tissue, tooth brush and tooth paste, platic cup, spoon fork.
-pf of ob, anaes & pedia.
-baby record yung tulad sa baby album. Certificate of baby's weight etc. w/ baby's footprints.
-may free pictures pa kami sa delivery room taken by my anaesthesiologist. Hobby nya daw yun and he's happy daw to take shots of the details most of the time neglected. Free sya. Bait mga doctors ko. sabi hubby sa kanila bawi kami pag may need silang pyesa ng kotse since auto parts business namin. Sa check up ko next week i'll bring each of my doctors a thank you token. A purple oven cake perhaps

Total bill 58 plus 4k for iv etc.

I gave birth last march sa st luke's qc. Ok sana ang mga nurses and staff and services nila but yung room na binigay nila, ang dumi. Hindi man lang nila nilinis as in ang daming dirt ngsulat nga yung mom ko ng I love St. lukes using the dirt sa baba ng crib ni baby then took a picture. How will you stay there na ganun ka dumi? Pinalinis pa namin. Ready na kami ni baby to go to our room pero kulang sila sa staff. We stayed for three days lang. Ok na sana kasi the nurses are so nice. Pero paguwi namin, wala silang maibigay na staff to help us carry our things. Ang dami namin gamit and i can't carry heavy things pa kasi cs ako. As in ang tagal namin naghintay kasi sabi may mghelp daw sa amin, walang dumating para tulungan kami. In the end, our yaya carried everything nalang. Bad experience dahil dun i was disappointed in their services tuloy. Anyone from st. Luke's who is reading this thread sana you'll offer better services naman kasi i didn't pay 130k tapos ganyan yung services niyo. and ang hospital dapat clean. May newborn baby noh, papayag ba kayo na pahigain siya sa ngaalikabok na crib? Hay....

sis andie75, i gave birth nitong mid-april lang at slmc qc din. i had a private room. sobrang linis nung room ko. twice a day naglilinis yung maintenance staff ng slmc qc. napuri nga sila ng mom ko e to think na sobrang arte ng mom ko na kahit mga nice hotels minsan napipintasan niya. may nag-assist din samin sa bags nung pagdating and pag-alis. bakit kaya ganon yung nangyari sa'yo? maybe super busy yung time na yun and talagang understaffed sila. ewan ko lang but, to be fair, i just wanted to share din yung experience ko there which was very positive naman.

Private room ang kinuha namin. At first, hindi kami nilagay sa maternity ward then sabi ng ob ko irequest namin sa maternity ward so nilipat kami. Tapos dun na ngkaproblem sa room kasi bagong gawa lang ata ng ac dun sa room so siguro a week na walang patient dun, pero naman diba, bago nila dapat ibigay yung room sa patient, dapat make sure na malinis na. As in nakasulat pa yung mom ko ng i love st lukes using the dirt. Picture niya to complain. Wala naman nagawa yung mga staff. Then talagang walang ng help sa amin sa pagcarry ng things going home. Nng nasa lobby na kami, may nakita ako na pauwi narin na mommy with her nb baby aba 2 pa nga yung nghelp sa kanila pero sa amin kahit 1 wala. Ayun ngcomplain talaga mom ko kasi ngbayad din naman kami.

I just gave birth this Sat may 5, 2012.  This is my second baby  and this is my second time to give birth in SLMC.  I got we care package.  So far the problem I encountered was when I was about to transfer to my room.  Ang tagal.  I was supposed to be transferred by 830pm.....since undermstaff sila I was brought to my room at 1030pm na.  The staff are nice and the room that I got was clean.

sis mikaela, i missed u by 1 day. hehe. april 17-21 naman ako. april 18 yung scheduled cs ko but my ob wanted me to get admitted on the 17th for preps.

sis ela1ne_r, same tayo. if may complain ako, yan din. sobrang tagal ko sa recovery room. parang 6-7 hours! hindi ko napigil, naiyak na talaga ako kasi gustong gusto ko na pumunta sa room ko to see my family, to take care of my baby (kasi hindi naman nila masiyado naaasikaso, iyak ng iyak yung baby) and to rest. sobrang punong puno yung recovery room. ang tagal ko na din umiiyak bago nila napansin.

Ok na sana services nila kaso nga lang understaff sila.  5 hours ako nasa RR.  sinabihan nila ko na ready na ko for transfer tapos 1030 pm na ko nailipat.  Inabot pa ko ng change shift ng mga staff.

curious lang ako mga sis... yung mga nag antay ng matagal sis sa RR, naka package kayo sis or hindi? curious lang ako kung baka ang habol dito yung mas mapatagal sa RR to get higher cost sa bill or talagang understaff lang ba talaga ang cause nito. madalas kaya sa gabi 'to ngyayari or meron din sa am?

^ i don't think so, sis.  kasi un nakasabay ko sa RR di naman nanganak...ang tagal din nila nag-antay.  gising kasi ako the whole time na nasa RR ako.  ilan patients din un nalate matransfer. i guess understaff talaga lang sila.

sis sino ba marerecommend nyong ob from st luke's? kasi naman yung ob ko department head ng slgc so for sure mas mahal ang pf niya kesa sa ibang ob. kaya need ko magpalit ng ob para at least bumaba ng konti yung bill. tia!

sis, mga tanghali ako dinala sa recovery room tapos na-transfer ako sa room ko halos gabi na. hindi ako naka package. pero feeling ko naman talaga lang understaffed sila. kita naman na taranta sila sa dami ng patients.
