Dra. Elizabeth "Peachy" Ocampo. Maxicare hmo ko sa I chose [textspeak!] pedia na maxicare affiliated din. After checking and discussing some names with Doc Peachy I chose Dr. Xeres Luz.

Super ok si doc sis. She knows exactly yung financial concern namin after seeing na 60k na bill namin nung naconfine ako, to think di pa ko nanganganak nun. Ang baba ng chinarge sa kin na pf, and after speaking with her secretary, super worried and concerned din sya sa situation ko

Ang bait naman! She's also my bestfriend's OB. Sayang nga Hindi kami sa kanya, Hindi kasi accredited ng HMO ko si dra Ocampo. Yung hubby ko naman maxicare syA kaya Lang wala namang maternity benefits for dependents. Hay sayang.

Good for you sis. Dirin covered ng hmo nmin pregnancy so out of pocket talaga namin 190k. Hayy! At least healthing healthy si baby, oks na oks na rin

Yung We care package, marami talagang restrictions. Hindi pwede ang may complications and dapat sure ka na normal NSD delivery kaya di sya maooffer sa first pregnancy kasi di mo pa alam kung anong type of delivery ang right for you. Most of the time, if first delivery is normal, normal narin subsequent mo, same for CS. Ang 58k NSD delivery, semi private room shared by 2 patients. Pero 4 rooms ang semi private sa st. Lukes gc kaya papaoccupy muna ang 4 rooms bago ipashare sya. Parang naka private ka narin kasi never pa raw nangyari na nashare ang room sa konti ng nagaavail ng semi private. Hindi ko na nacheck yung ward kasi 2k lang naman masmura sya and 4patients ang capacity nun.
My obgyne is dr. Joan ocampo and she will give you all options para magfit sa budget mo ang delivery. Im under intellicare hmo so free prenatal checkup ko but no coverage on delivery. But the other pregnant patient na nakasabay ko dun, 800 ang binayad for consultation.
Regarding philhealth, 3k lang ang mababawas sa total bill kasi naka promo naraw ang we care and di na maapply ang total philhealth benefit.
Once you avail the we care, dont expect they will provide you the hospital kit or baby bag. Bring your own napkins, alcohol, cotton, baby diapers, toiletries etc. kasi if you asked for them, macharge on top of your bill at expensive pa. Only medicines, pain relievers, antibiotics are free. Si baby roomed in sayo but included na vaccine nya bcg and vit k plus prof fee for pedia.

^sis, when I gave birth last Sept at slmc gc under the we care package, I availed the semi private room, luckily, hindi naman talaga nagkakasabay mga nagssemi private, so parang naka private room na nga din ako, my hubby also requested for a couch(no extra charge) para comfy din siya. Just to add, baby's first clothes (shirt, mittens, booties, bonnet and blanket) were also provided.

^sis, with the semi private, armchair lang un andun sa room talaga, don't know if napaswerte lang kami at konti lang un patients that time or very accomodating lang talaga sila kaya they were willing to lend us a couch/daybed. Hehe..
^^sis, baby was in a bassinet when we were transferred in our room. I'll check my contract tom, will update you with what's included in the package.

Just gave birth last saturday at slmc qc and since it's my 2nd child and ob suggested it kahit i like the private room, i availed the nsd we care package semi private for 58k. Ob was right na parang private na din kasi wala akong ka share sa room.
-May cr w/ shower and a couch for bantay.
-with meals din bfast, lunch, dinner. Ok daw sabi ni yaya sya kasi kumain since hubby brought me food.
-included na bcg, hepa, hearing test and nb screening
-baby was w/ me right from delivery. Roomed in sya but the nurses were always there to assist us.
-di mahirap magtawag ng nurse, housekeeping kasi may intercon
-baby was placed in a bassinet
-di ko na gaano maalala laman ng baby kit basta may thermometer and tie sides. Dami akong dalang set naman ng clothes and diapers placed in a ziplock per set and labeled. Di lahat nagamit.
-2 day stay at a semi private (2 beds) pero naging solo ko room.
-hospital kit may tissue, tooth brush and tooth paste, platic cup, spoon fork.
-pf of ob, anaes & pedia.
-baby record yung tulad sa baby album. Certificate of baby's weight etc. w/ baby's footprints.
-may free pictures pa kami sa delivery room taken by my anaesthesiologist. Hobby nya daw yun and he's happy daw to take shots of the details most of the time neglected. Free sya. Bait mga doctors ko. sabi hubby sa kanila bawi kami pag may need silang pyesa ng kotse since auto parts business namin. Sa check up ko next week i'll bring each of my doctors a thank you token. A purple oven cake perhaps

Total bill 58 plus 4k for iv etc.

^...now im convince to get the we care package...since my Ob approved it na....ok na sa kin un package.  I thought walang ibibigay and SLMC na hospital kit...ie tissue, etc. and baby kit like nun sa first born ko. 

Bakit nun sa eldest ko wala silang binigay na certificate with footprints and hand prints?  Do i need to request it?  [textspeak!] ba talaga un?

Meron bang philhealth deduction un package?

^i didnt request for the baby's certificate w/ foot prints sis. Surprised nga ako and natuwa. Nakalagay pa dun "i'm a st. Luke's baby". Cute lang.

Yung sa  philhealth di na kami nagpa bawas. may representative who personally came to our room and asked if we'll use our ph card. 3k mababawas since discounted na ang we care package. Unlike sa previous hospital where i gave birth na pinabalik balik pa si hubby sa billing for the phealth papers. Kaya di na namin inavail. Sa st. Luke's less hassle.

When I gave with, with complications - 5 days confinement pa before I delivered, I thought malaki laki mababawas ng philhealth. I have all the docs ready, only to find out na 3k lang deduction from philhealth

hi all! im almost 38 weeks. first baby. if magCS ako, i might get the package sa St Lukes Fort. kasi pagkakaalam ko, they only have package for first baby pag CS, but if normal, wala silang packagae if first baby. How are the semi private rooms? makakaovernight stay ba ang companion? also, about the footprint certificate - do i request for it or automatic bang nagbibigay sila nun? also, i have question about CS and breastfeeding. madami kasi ngssabi din sa kin, na di agad agad mkkpagbreastfeed pag na-CS, is this true? hope you can help me out with this one. im a first time mom - so i really have no idea.

Hi sis! My ob is Dra. Valerie Guino. She's a perinat and sonologist narin so you don't have to go elsewhere for ultrasound. Dapat CS nako sis sa laki ni baby pero nagawa nyang NSD. Super ok cya, super caring =)

Sisses, meron ba sa inyong OB si Dra Christine Fernando-Palma sa St. Lukes QC? If so, would you know if may packages sya for both normal delivery and CS?

@sis kryshtel: Ang breastfeeding kahit CS pwede po yan.  I had a scheduled CS last year, April 2011.  Kung sa St. Luke's ka, advocate sila ng breastfeeding.  Talagang tutukan ka ng nurses maya't maya.  Sa umpisa, walang milk pero kailangan kasi yung sucking effect ni baby to stimulate the milk.  Ngayon, 1 yr na baby ko, and still breastfeeding hihi   Tutulungan ka ng nurses to hold the baby while BF-ing.  Galing nga eh.

Sa St. Luke's, para sa akin the best ang patient care nila.  Every cent is worth it.  Professional ang nurses and doctors even yung maghahandle ng baby mo for shower.  Laki takot ko sa mga bleeding stuff pero they made it very easy for me- Physically and emotionally.
