I also have PCOS. And i never take the birth control route or any medications. It will only hurt your health even more. What i did was i took cinnamon and chromium piccolinate para maregulate blood sugar then changed my diet to less carbs, sugar and processed food. Meaning you have to eat home cooked meal walang mga junk foods or fast foods! Then carbs mo from fruits not from rice or breads, no dairy as much as possible. Once your pcos symptoms got better you can somehow incorporate some of the foods back pero syempre dapat controlled pa din. Alao dont forget to do at least 3x a week exercises. Pero if you are planning to have a baby soon a little help from your OB will be okay. But in most cases pcos is really from being insulin resistant kahit di ka mataba, like me im payat pero im pcos and may insulin resistant. So take care of your intake of sugars and carbs.

Can anyone recommend na magaling na obgyn or doctor for pcos? I'm still looking for obgyn/doctor na magaling at makikinig sa akin, ultrasound lang kasi ginagawa nila then bigay bcp na e ayaw ko na nga ng pills, I tried that before already. I want to have my hormones, thyroid and insulin/blood sugar tested pero okay na daw yung ultrasound and bcp. Sa tingin ko lang naman masmagagamot ako if all those will be tested din, baka maseffective sa kain if yung thyroid ang gamutin (whici is connected din naman sa pcos).

Right now I'm just controlling my sugar intake.

I used to take cinnamon. Is it more effective ba if I also take chromium piccolinate? I take zinc picolinate din for my blood sugar at nakakatulong din naman.

And anong impact kapag hindi pinaremove?

^im not sure sis about the effect of gallstones sa fertility. but if you do get pregnant and you have gallstones, mahirap kapag umatake yung pain and worse kapag kailangan operahan na tapos may baby ka inside the womb.

some people have gallstones and they dont even know it kasi walang symptoms. kung di naman sumasakit, okay lang na wag magpasurgery. but kapag may symptoms like backpain, stomach pain, vomiting, mas maganda daw iparemove na. possible din kasi na mag-rupture or bumara sa bile duct.. kapag umabot sa point na yun, mas delikado na.

*pansin ko lang, parang medyo magkalaban yung diet for pcos and for those with gallstones.. ang hirap ibalance..

another thing, while backreading, i noticed parang iba ang polycystic ovary sa PCOS.. tama ba? o same lang yun?

sis pag polycystic ovaries you have cysts on your ovaries without the symptoms, most probably irregular period/ovulation lang. pag syndrome kasama na yung ibang symptoms -- weight gain, hormonal imbalances, glucose problems, etc

Sisses, after ilang days ako magkakamens after last dose ng duphaston? Last day ko na kasi today, 2 tablets a day. Waiting na lang ako magkamens to start on Diane 35.

My ob is asking me to take provera for 5 days para daw magka mens na ko.. Last mens ko kasi was September 9.. tapos on day 17-26, provera again. I refused to take it because I don't want to take pills. Tapos she gave me another option nalang which is the vaginal utrogestan. I think that's better because it will pass through my stomach. Parang suppository nalang..

Hi! Sorry hindi ako nagbackread to check if may natanong nang ganito. Anyway, possible ba na from polycystic ovaries - bilateral, maging normal ovaries? May mga nababasa kasi akong hindi nacucure to, pero based on my latest TVS, normal na both ovaries ko. :)

hello sis @iamcessy. sabi OB ko, nanonormalize or nacocontrol naman daw yung pagiging polycystic pero once pcos, always na daw ganon. like sa akin, pcos bilateral ako kaya hindi ako nagoovulate, nalaman ko jan 2015. tapos hanggang last TVS scan ko last may 2016 pcos pa din although 17/17 yung follicles sa both ovaries and hindi pa siya normal.  pero nung october nalaman ko preggy ako. so yung right ko nagnormalize, pinapacontinue na lang yung metformin para macontrol.

Sis yung saken naging normal both. I was diagnosed nnung 2014, after 6 months nagclear yung cysts sa left, then a few months after clear na both. Sadly, I found out i have polycystic ovaries again on both just a few weeks ago. Sabi ng OB ko we can't address it pa right now kasi I'm still breastfeeding my 7 month old. So parang for now, it's normal that i don't ovulate because of lactation.

Hi sissies! I also have PCO and my gynecologist advised me to lose some weight.
Now I'm starting to worry kasi bale wala yung pagpapagamot ko noon. Ikakasal pa naman ako this coming Dec.
Lol!
Thanks sa sasagot. God bless!
